We hired Marshall Magoon to perform for our younger son's six birthday party. He gave a great show to a mix of kids and adults. He involved several of the younger children as assistants, including our son who was excited to participate. Marshall had also performed at our older son's party a year ago. The older one loves to do magic himself, and Marshall remembered him and let him perform a couple of tricks at the beginning of the younger one's show. Overall Marshall is very professional. For my son's Harry Potter themed party, we wanted an illusionist who could really wow the kids as we had a lot of kids coming. Marshall was fantastic. In terms of pre-event communication, he responded to my inquiries in a timely and professional manner, and arrived to the party to set up early. Marshall was super accommodating as, due to torrential rains and scheduling issues, we needed him to perform on a stage in a school auditorium instead of a classroom, and, he agreed to start about 15 minutes early to keep the party moving. Despite these somewhat frenetic conditions, Marshall handled the situation brilliantly, and the kids (ages 5-9) and parents were quite entertained--laughing, puzzled, amazed. Mr Magoon, is a person with a golden heart, very humble yet very professional! He came to entertain 35 Kids, ages 3- 12, at my son's 10 th Birthday party at the park. Marshall is delight and a pure pro and a can't-miss entertainment choice for a party or event - He gave a wonderful 30-minute performance at a milestone birthday celebration for my wife and totally exceeded expectations - One part sleight of hand to two parts raconteur and comic shtick in a series of deftly performed classic magic tricks that kept the crowd wanting more. Marshall Magoon performed at my son's 3rd birthday party. There were 30 kids between the ages of 3 and 7 and he kept them entertained and engaged! The kids were impressed by his tricks and were laughing at his jokes the whole time! He was also able to gear jokes toward the parents that kept them entertained as well. We had Marshall over for my daughter's seventh birthday celebration. Although her birthday was some time ago, I didn't get to organazing it timely enough. Searching Yelp for party entertainers I came across Marshall's excellent reviews and contacted him for booking a show for kids. He returned all my messages within 24 hours or sooner. It turned out that he was booked the day I needed him for the show and we would have to wait for couple more weeks to get him in. I decided to wait. I have to say that it was SO WORTH WAITING!!! He came on time, was very professional. Set up his equipment in advance, spent every minute of the time he allocated to the show interacting with kids. All his tricks were very age appropriate. I am confident that have I had teenagers or adults in my party he would have selected other tricks to show to more sophisticated audience. Kids were hypnotized, engaged, entertained, happy, excited and more! Parents also liked the show! He really helped me make this birthday party memorable and, as added bonus, helped maintain my daughter social standing among her friends :) Now they say that she had the greatest birthday party ever! read more
