In the one year that Jen and I have been dating, this place has improved and provided many fun days and nights. The Christmas decorations were wonderful and this past weekend they had the Lunar New Year celebration, with many additional pop-up vendors in the street (closed off for pedestrians). We enjoyed walking, talking and exploring all the additional vendors and also the people (and dog) watching was top notch. Judging by the crowd turnout, I would say that this was a successful event, and I hope they add more events like this going forward. Many great restaurants, shops, craft stores and plaza entertainment. Water fountains and train rides for the kids (and some adults too). Whether you come here to dine, shop or just hang out and enjoy the weather with others, this place is a solid choice.

I arrived to pick up my online order only to discover they've merged the checkout line with the online order line make it make sense! It's supposed to be convenient not an inconvenience. I stood in line longer than I would have liked 27 min to be exact. Couldn't do anything about it but wait. Then the cashier had to leave the register to go to the back to look for for my order that took an additional 7 minutes because she forgot my name. All together I was in the store 34 min. We never shop at Walmart but we made an exception for a bookshelf (delivery). What a mistake on our part. Walmart has sent us on a wild goose chase trying to get a refund for a product that never came. Each person we speak to seems to be unaware of potential roadblocks that we encounter at the next steps they detail for us to follow. A wonderful employee saw the pain my girlfriend's feet were in and overheard that we needed to get the movies. He offered to ring up the one item for us so that we could make our movie on time. If it wasn't for her being in pain and us being in a time crunch, we would have refused, but due to the circumstances we were extremely grateful. I perused around the store to see what knick knacks they have. I'm always curious what merchandises they carry. You never know what you may find. It's a like being a kid in a candy store. I am amazed on the variety of goods from household items, school supplies, toys and plushies, food items and snacks, and so much more. I finally found the squeezies. I bought a couple plus a few sparkling drinks with cool characters on them and one earphone set. Prices were reasonable. They now offer self check-out which is convenient. There was one lady staff. The aisles are usually clean, things are organized, and it actually feels pleasant to shop here instead of rushed or chaotic. The staff are generally helpful, the store is well stocked, and it feels like they take pride in keeping this location in good shape. It might not be the newest or flashiest Target, but it has great energy, good selection, and a welcoming vibe. Proud to have this as my local Target. I always end up enjoying my trips here more than I expect to.
