Everytime I go there the employees are very rude about not getting the credit card when you're checking out.

This location is messy as heck and disorganized but do I always find something good here...yes. I've gotten beautiful Aldo sandals here that were amazing quality that I bought for an Oregon vacay, I've gotten a comfy cotton Calvin Klein bralette here, cruelty free body wash, real techniques makeup brushes, sooo many great items at a good price. Marshalls is the sister store to home goods and TJMaxx and I personally will always shop at these stores for the good deals I find. I like that this location is across from an Ulta and nearby food options, a movie theater, grocery store, and other businesses. read more

This store occasionally has great deals. Customer service has varied from great to a vibe worse than Walmart. An elderly black lady dressed in what could only be described as a costume from a Civil War-era plantation was very mean and practically accused me of stealing when I checked into the dressing room. She had on a turban wrap on her head and a flowy long dress. She first argued with me that the 2-piece sets count as 2. Fair enough. But then she said "I count all the pieces when you leave" with a stern tone and stare. Wow!! Then when I checked out to leave, another lady was arguing with her about the 2-piece count. I didn't want to spend all night waiting. I just said that is the way she counts it, don't argue. Then she counted my pieces. I gave the ones that did not work out and held on to the ones I am buying it. She looked at me and demanded to know where the other pieces are. I told her I am buying them... She had a surprised look on her face. One of the worst store experiences and will avoid the dressing room if she is around. Hopefully not for long. I am sure there will be complaints. read more

So came in to swap out some crocks I got same day just grabbed the wrong size before paying as my little one was acting up. Anyways Mercedes/ coordinator started to help me and she said the price is different this n that I said well it's just one size difference. She said it has came in different times so yea, I said well how is this my fault. It's only 4$ difference which I pulled my card out to pay. N my little one still running around. She goes don't curse at me started the entire transaction canceled it and had a guy come up n I asked for her name n Mr Chris L said I'm not gone give u her name, because we r trying to help you. If I could give a 0 for the experience I just had I would. I bought I two piece set a week ago for my best friends bachelorette, I tried it on in store and everything was fine. Upon putting it on during the trip the entire waist band ripped. I brought it back to return with both pieces and the tag, the woman helping me at the desk asked the manager if I could return it - the manager laughed in her face and mine and said absolutely not multiple times. I understand that maybe it is not returnable but the dismissiveness and laughter in my face is absolutely not okay. This is completely unacceptable customer service especially since THEIR item was defective. I shop at Marshall's often and I am completely disappointed in this level of customer service especially from a MANAGER. Completely unacceptable, I will be calling corporate to report this behavior. Marshalls - Discount Store Near Me - Issaquah, Washington

This is one of the better Marshalls in the area. Every time I visit adjacent HomeGoods, I always take a gander at what Marshalls has to offer. And compared to other locations, the selection is worth checking out. For the women's apparel, I'm impressed by the inventory they get here, as they get more name brand items than other Marshalls locations. Located at the front of the store and women's department, there's a lot of brands that I personally wear at discounted rates, such as Free People, Splendid, James Perse, etc... You don't often find these name brands at the other Marshalls locations nearby. The store is pretty organized, with a lot of staff on the floor, fitting rooms, and checking you out in the shared area with HomeGoods. In addition to women's apparel, they have a men's department, children's, shoes, accessories and bath & body items. You really cannot beat the prices either. Glad to have this Marshalls on the eastside, and if you're in the Issaquah Highlands area and have some shopping to do, this is one of the best stores around to do so. read more

5 out of 7 times I was there during the last year, I noticed people filling their cart with stuff and running out with it. If the store doesn't get some security it's not going to take long until it's going to close. The men's clothes selection is shrinking from month to month. Things I buy at Marshalls: makeup, candles, home decor tchotchkes. To this end, this is one of the greatest Marshalls I've ever stepped in. The candles were picked over but the section was large and had potential. The makeup section was enormous and filled with high-end brand name gems. Examples during my last visit included the Anastasia Beverly Hills Aurora palette and Urban Decay lip products in factory wrap. The home decor section, is, quite literally, a whole HomeGoods store so nothing more needs to be said about that, really. Things I don't buy at Marshall's: clothes, food, kid's items. The clothes section didn't look particularly extraordinary from what I saw, but the shoe section was quite large and varied. Food section seemed average, predominantly candy. The customer service is fine. It's a Marshall's, not Barney's, and the fact that it's two stores in one is going to naturally attract quite a few knockoff-loving, coupon-wielding bargain hunters, especially on weekends. There's going to be a line. Don't go into a place selling Kerastase shampoo for $4 and then expect them to employ 30 people for a Saturday afternoon shift, is all I'm saying. I'd like to give the merchandise 5 stars because there are some great finds there no matter what section....you'll find something worth buying. Prices, are not the best. Even clearance items seemed overpriced. Sometimes you can see the clearance price is only $1 less than the Marshalls price. I'm have the understanding clearance is like 50-75% reduction in price, but not there. The lines for check out is absolutely unacceptable. In my opinion, customers who have to stand in line for 20-30 mins, this indicates severely poor customer service. Because again, these are pricey tags. It's not like it's Goodwill. I had a problem last spring/summer with a dressing room worker who seemed like she was singling people out to "count" the items when going into the fitting room and "counting" when coming out. Most business or fitting room workers are only interested in what items you no longer want or if anything worked out. Even when leaving the rooms with desire to purchase all items, she wanted to count them. After the second time and noticing she didn't do it to everybody, I told her " No thank you". She tried to block me and even attempted to grab me...of course I told her she better not touch me. A couple times she walkie talkied security. I didn't care, I hadn't done anything wrong and just ignored her. I was NeVER stopped or confronted by security. I think they knew she was an over-zealous control freak. Because of her I've stopped trying things on. I'll buy items...try them on at home and then Return if it doesn't work/fit. To avoid being misunderstood, I don't mind the fitting room rules, but they must apply for everyone not just certain people. Happy shopping! read more

This location is HUGE. It is technically two stores together: Marshalls and HomeGoods. The Marshalls store is pretty standard: a huge selection of women's clothes, a big shoe section, and lots of hair care products, with a small mens section. The HomeGoods half of the store is full of throw pillows, bedding sets, towels, and home decor. The checkout is toward the HomeGoods side of the store, intentionally, so that you see all that they have to offer. I found an awesome sweater for $20, and I keep getting complements on it. I also bought a short sleeve button up in preparation for the warmer weather, but a button was broken so I ended up returning it. This store is easy to get to and they always have plenty of people working at checkout, so you never have to worry about waiting in a line. Plenty of parking too. read more

the issaquah home goods is not enforcing mask mandate. Even after customer complaint about couple without masks, they let the couple (still unmasked) wait in line and pay. I understand not wanting the confrontation, but the rest of us shoppers were let down by the passive approach management took to this incident. At the very least, don't take their money. Not sure if this is the correct Marshalls in Issaquah, but here I go. Came here a week ago on Sunday afternoon after having lunch at the RAM. Cousin wanted a dress, but it had make up stain on it and it wasn't hers. She didn't even try the dress on but wanted to make the purchase because there was no other one like it or size left. She kindly asked the cashier if they could do anything about it and the cashier said yes. When she called for her manager or should I say "coordinator", she told my cousin that it's not a damage item and that it couldn't be discounted. Well so who's telling the truth? Anyways, most retail stores will do a damage discount where it becomes a final sale and you can't return it even if you can't fix it. The coordinator Lana, gave us this crazy look as if my cousin was lying or something. She then proceeded to tell us that she can "wing" it and take 10% off and that she doesn't want to get in trouble. I found that pretty odd for her to tell us that. Anyways, she took the dress and tried to take the stain off herself but failed so she gave my cousin a $1.xx It was an inexpensive dress, but still, I felt more could have been done. The Store Manger(s) get 1 Star. The employees & the Store itself gets a Big 5 Stars***** The store it New, Bright & Clean with a Large inventory. The Employees are very helpful & nice. What I have a problem with is it's store manager(s). They are too controlling of the staff. I purchased close to $400.00 worth of items. I didn't have time to try on any of the items. I went back to the store to return 3 items that totaled $125.00. The employee did the return properly but the employee told me we had to wait and get the manager's approval..... It was a very long wait. He (the manager) was working at his own register. So after he was done with his customer he had to come over to where I was & double check his employees work before a credit would be issued for $125. The credit was just going back on to my TJMax/ Marshall's Credit card. I had my receipts, but because it was over $100.00 he will not trust his employees to issue a credit themselves. This was the third time this has happened to me at that store. Another time it happened the returned items came to $102.00 and he just happened to walk by and he scolded the employee for not getting his approval first because it was $2.00 over the limit she could approve on a return. It happen one other time with the same results I had to wait (5 -7 min) for the manager to come over and check his staff's work so he could sign off on a credit being issued of $118. I have never had this problem with any other Marshall's Store across this country. What is this stores deal.. I will be going out of my way to not shop in this store if I can help it, because of the way the manager is inconsiderate of his customers .... He could care less about making his customers wait on him. His employees all say, "so sorry for the wait...." A Manager has never said that to me. Maybe more training and more trusting of your employees would be a good thing... Other Marshall stores seem to do it that way. read more

Bad customer service with Cashier Kylie. Very rude and arrogant attitude. I was fine through out the whole checking out with her indifferent face and no greetings at all, until she rudely took the solid wood furniture out from my cart to inspect, then dropped it back to the cart roughly, without telling me anything why she did this (I left the furniture in the cart at the first place, because it's kinda heavy. I thought she could use the scanner to scan the tag, but she suddenly came out from her desk and took the furniture out, and no explanation at all the whole time). I said could you be gentle with the furniture? She said nothing like not hearing a thing. Then I asked for the manager to describe about it. But the manager in the evening shift did not apologize. Only asked me if I needed help loading. I hate to raise this as a racial issue, but I have to say I'm in color and I felt to be discriminated. read more

No matter when you go expect to stand in the check out line at least 20 minutes. It's not only the weekends. I went mid week in the morning and I was waiting in line almost 25 minutes. Unacceptable. They have a lot of cashier stations but usually only a few of them are open. The home goods part is great but the regular Marshall's store is barely ok. The one at Overlake has bigger selection and is overall a way better store. read more

The review is personally for the store manager - never in my life I was treated so poorly at other Marshall's locations. I love the store and this will not stop me from shopping here, but I want the store owner to know that they have the wrong person managing it right now. I just left the store, spent almost $500 there (just like almost every single time I go shop at Marshall's), and in response I got the most disgusting attitude when asked if I can get a small discount for a stroller which didn't have a box and was on the display (for the note, I bought 2 Of these strollers, another one was inside the box). The manager said they don't offer any discounts, and to my question on how would we return it if we didn't like it, she stated: "you can't return it, your kid is already in it!" and pointed at the wall with the store rules. To my questions on why is it out of the box then, and how would I know if something works for me if I don't try it out - following this logic, I can't return the shirt that I tried on at home and didn't like how it fits; the lady stated "these are our store rules, you can't return something that's already been used". I have no clue how many kids have sitted in this display stroller before, but I'm still buying it for the full price, and that would be ok with me, if not her attitude. My husband was so shocked with this lady, he asked for the store manager and that's where we found out that "she's the manager and every discount has to go through her", after this statement he asked her not to talk to us anymore, just let the other cashier help us instead, who was way more friendly and courteous. He also pointed out how discouraging her behavior as a manger was towards her customers, and after he said a few more things she "decided to give us a 10% discount on the stroller". I don't know what made her change her mind so rapidly, but something tells me it's the fact that my husband doesn't have an accent like I do, and that makes me feel discriminated. This might not be the case, but my experience was still extremely frustrating - as a longtime customer of Marshall's and TJX stores, I just hate to feel this way. read more
