The whole store is so messy and unorganized and the last couple times that I've been in there there were two employees with no managers on site they couldn't do return they couldn't do price manipulation so there was a lot of angry customers and big lines and you have to always ask them to open the second line / cashier The problem is with the management not the employee read more

I thought a couple of organizers would be all I needed this afternoon from Dollar Tree. When I realized that there were a few more items I needed, I walked back to get a shopping cart next to the check-out area. While I put organizers and white posters into the cart and was about to walk back to the aisle, I heard a loud female voice saying" Are you trying to take stuff out of the store"? I looked and was so in shock at the seriously awful insulation I had just received. Many customers on 2 different lines all turned around and listened to the conversation. "No, I needed a cart, so I could go back to purchase more items than I needed." All the mid-aged female employee responded to was "Oh, OK". There was no apology at all for her wrong judgment. When I was at the check-out, I chose the other line. In my 48th life, I have never been seriously insulated or been accused of stealing. I could have just walked out angrily, but I chose to continue shopping and let her know she had made a huge mistake. This wrong judgment has caused me some anxiety now. Although I can get something cheap there for the family and myself, I don't think I will shop there again. read more

It seems like one dollar can't buy you much these days, but it is enough to purchase anything at the Dollar Tree! Everything here costs just a dollar, or less! I visited for the first time recently and loved exploring the variety in the store. They have cooking instruments, books, toys, cleaning supplies, houseware, gift wrapping, craft materials and SO much more! Their food selection also occupies a few aisles which includes snacks, canned goods, candies, beverages and frozen items. You won't find a ton of name-brand products here, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It is just the tradeoff for extreme discounts. I would hope that most of the products are fine, but definitely consider the quality of the items here before you buy them. We bought a couple foil cooking tins which appeared very sturdy at the store. However, when it came to actually using one to cook a rib roast, it leaked and dripped grease all over the oven. There was apparently a tiny hole in the bottom of the pan that we didn't notice beforehand. On a more positive note, we got a couple word search books for fun and a package of four shrimp Top Ramen! While there are a ton of goods in the store, some of the shelves are not very organized and a couple areas were on the messy side. The holiday section was overflowing with merchandise and the aisle of books was in disarray. I didn't really have high expectations though and the disorganization won't deter me from coming back. I'm just happy that they offer so many products for just one dollar! Have I said that enough? :) read more

Not a fan. Yes I know it's a Dollar Tree and not Nordstroms. Sloppy merchandising and products in the aisles. Understaffed. Today they had one slow person at the one register that was open. Me and my friend visit frequently. We are teenagers, and we fully understand why there may have been a misunderstanding but it was fully blown out of proportion to a point of being ridiculous. We walked in, got asked to leave our bags at the front which is perfectly fine, I understand that as it's common for stores to ask that of teenagers. We put our bags down, and begin perusing. We go to the health section, and my friend was browsing lube. We found it quite funny that they had warming lube, and I wanted to check what the ingredients were to make it warming. A female employee in her around 50s perhaps with greyish blondish hair (?) who was following us closely the entire time says "Give me that." We were quite shocked. The lady went, put it back, then went to the intercoms, said "All cameras on and security, please" A voice responded "Security on their way" They don't even have security, so they literally just lied as an attempt to intimidate us even though we haven't done ANYTHING other than browse a store which I'd argue is pretty usual. The only changing factor is we go semi frequently, as I enjoy getting things for cheap (1.25 is a good bargain, I must say) and we're teenagers. We were tired of being disrespected, and you can't really buy anything if employees are taking things from you before you even get to the cash register, so we left. Once we left, an older woman with short white hair (employee aswell) yelled at us to get back there as we walked away, considering we both knew we didn't do anything and had no reason to go back. I don't think I've ever been this disrespected in a store. We were treated unfairly only based on how we look, and that really stinks. While the store is large and well-stocked, the employees are very rude, they seem to NOT enjoy their jobs for sure.

We got a TON of stuff for upcoming birthday party today. New and clean. And organized. Cashier was super friendly and even engaged with my kiddo and he told her he was getting goodie bag stuff for his bday party. We racked up a $98 but it was mainly cause we bought 25 tote bags to start the haul on top of 25 etch sketch minis. From there on out it was just loading up the cart like we were pros. They have helium balloons at front which i def will keep in mind for next time. Also the freezer section had the best frozen dessert stuff. If we were going straight home i would have stocked up on their shaved ice cups. Next time. TONS of plastic totes and bins and organizers. I could have spent an hour in that aisle alone. Tons of craft supplies and paper goods and decor. A whole aisle of kids toys with dinosaurs and other plastic junk but mixed in were awesome disney and paw patrol lil items. We just had to sift thru the generic items to find them. Also lots of puzzles ! And some cute girl dress up clothes and plastic play food etc. The parking lot is huge. They had fall and halloween decor out already which my son was all into but i couldn't quite commit to witch lights in August. Will be back. I happened to be in the area so I popped into to see what they had. They are hiring and you can tell they need more staff because the line was pretty long and they only had one cashier. The shelves seem like they needed to be stocked and re-organized. But overall they had a great selection. They had a lot of household items as well as fall decor, beauty items, and lots of crafts! I'll be the first to say that I was a bit hesitant to welcome a dollar store to downtown Issaquah. It shocked me they would put one in where the old Front Street Market was and not replace it with another trendy grocery store. I needed some tissues to wrap some items I was putting into storage and figured $1 tissue would be just fine! First off, their hours online are not the same as their hours posted on the door. So don't bank on them being open! Second issue I had was the staff was SO BAD. The conversations I overheard them having while stocking shelves just concerned me as there were kids in the store. Then the cashier was a grumpy old man that was annoyed with everything. Overall just bad service! The store itself is pretty stocked with random things you'll never need. But I will say they did have some more useful items. Lots of house cleaning supplies and even $1 microwaveable meals. They even had a big Halloween section with decorations and costumes. I probably won't be back but it's a good option if you're in a pinch (assuming they're open) and need something cheap and quick! read more

I love dollar tree, I could spend hours looking through all items I have found that each dollar has something different so when I heard there was a dollar tree opening in Issaquah you can just imagine how excited I was. I went to there opening not much shelves empty not alit yo look at. I gave it chance since it had just opened but couple months later extremely disappointed . Shelves are empty, there is not a lot of stuff which defeats the purpose of having a dollar tree close to home so back I go to Renton. Letting the customer know they are important to you. Today that did not happen. My son had a displeasing experience. It would be of the best interest of cashiers at this store to put the customer first. if the transaction is not happening correctly. .It might be nice or kind to try again to make sure the transaction can happen correctly for the customer. I really enjoyed this store until today. I called the store to let them know that they may need to check their machines to make sure they are workign correctly. I was told it was my son's error. It would be best for a manager to let the Customer know we want to make sure that your shoping experience was the best ever. Today this manager did not do that for myself on the phone r for my son when he tried to purchase his Tp and dish washing soap. The Customer Service is not carried through in a positive manner that causes negative fibes for everyone. For all you know we could have been Secret Shoppers. Messy, rude staff. It looked like a hurricane had blown through, with lots of items on the floors, boxes abandoned in the aisles, lots of empty shelf space, untidy displays. Not at all what I'd expected after a nice lunch in Issaquah. But the worst was when I was checking out, and I asked if my son could use the restroom. My son had already sought out the bathroom and found it closed. As he needed it urgently, I asked the checkout clerk as I was about to buy quite a few items. He refused to let us use the bathroom, and when I looked at him disbelievingly, he actually lied and said "we don't have one." When I politely told him I wouldn't be buying anything then, if they weren't going to let my son use the bathroom, he rudely waived his hand in my face and said "go, leave." Obviously they didn't need or want our business. I can understand limiting bathroom use to paying customers, but we were actively checking out with $20 worth of stuff. They were unsure were the prepaid balloons were and made no attempt to apologize for their error. You have been warned! Ron. Manager. Assistant Manager. Whatever he is needs to be working someone that he doesn't have to deal with customers face to face. I just left the store. They had one register open and it wasn't working. The cashier called for Ron. Ron yelled "I will be there in a minute" and continued his conversation about his dog with some lady. Meanwhile...there is a line of 6 CUSTOMERS just standing in line and 1 more the counter who just had to stand there until Ron was done with his dog story. When Ron was done with his dog story he walked across the store as slow as possible. CUSTOMERS still waiting. After about 6 minutes he finally decided he would reluctantly open up his own register. He rang me up, and POINTED to the little screen that asked if I wanted a receipt. Pointed! Hey Ron, could you get any more annoying? I paid and Ron handed back my change. At this point Ron said "there ya go". Classy Ron. How about a "thank you" for waiting. Nope. Not this guy. Horrible service at this location. read more

This store is a complete dump! Not only is it a hot mess of disorganization, but it looks dirty too. And customer service? What's that? When I got to the checkout, the cashier and another woman I can safely assume was some kind of manager/supervisor were discussing the cashier's work schedule and how many breaks she should get. Neither one acknowledged me and continued their conversation. Finally, the mgr/sup person told the cashier, "You have a customer" and she began ringing up my purchase, all while continuing to talk. Not once did she say anything to me (not even a hello) or even look at me. She didn't even tell me my total when she was done. I waited for a few seconds, but she was just too busy worrying about her breaks, so I laid my cash on the counter and waited for my receipt. Nope, not happening. Picked up my purchase and left. My god this store makes me dread coming though. Each employee is horrible in their own way. I went in with my parents on New Years Eve, just to check out some things. As soon as we walked in the manager yelled and said 'did you guys just come in because we are closing'. My dad had said we have five minutes we won't be long. The manager had checked her phone and said 'um you have three. Be out by 7:00'. I was so utterly disgusted that she said this to us. I have worked in retail before so I know how annoying it is to get someone in at the last minute, but I have never yelled at a customer. I go up to them and politely remind them when we close. We walked out and decided not to give them any money. My friend and I returned back, and she was yelling at the employees. She had yelled at this man who was on the register asking if he had taken his lunch, I was in shock by the way she acted in front of her customers. I don't know what type of rules the Dollar Tree has but being polite to your customers should be number 1. I wish I could give a negative star. read more

I was very excited to finally have a DollarTree in Issaquah, but the joy was short lived. This store is understocked. I do not see any newer items here. Lot of things available in other stores were missing here. As long you as are looking for quick party supplies and stationaries, this is fine. For any seasonal stuff or newer items, you will have to head out to another location. This one clearly isnt getting the stock regularly which is a shame. Given the location, if they keep the store well stocked, they can pull in a lot of crowd. Nobody wants to drive to Renton from Issaquah for Dollar Tree....well if only they could keep getting more items in this store. read more
