A GOOD DEAL MORE Though it might be messy (and slow), this Marshall's has some nifty stuff at a great value. I came here looking for an appropriate Mother's Day gift this past weekend and luckily was able to find a few solid items in their homegoods section. A ceramic butter tray, personalized wine stopper, and a series of small dishes meant I wouldn't have to make multiple stops (success!) The clothing aisles were in a moderate state of disarray, while the shelves of assorted kitchen knickknacks weren't much better. However, where this store falters in cleanliness, they make up for in selection. Nichole C found an awesome purse at a bargain price (she actually found *3*, but only bought one, thank christ). Checkout was tedious; there were only two registers open on a Saturday evening and the employees weren't exactly moving at lightspeed. This added up to a long wait in line, with some customers impatiently tapping their feet, others a mixture of annoyed sighs and assorted eye-rolling. There's a few shady businesses in the Winston Plaza shopping area but this Marshall's isn't the worst of the bunch......that dubious honor goes to the ghetto-tastic Dollar Tree and their "steak-shaped meat conglomerates". Stop in and take a look, you might find a gem or two on the shelves. Just don't make a habit out of coming here. read more

Every time I go to this location I find more than what I need. I spend more than expected. At the entrance you will find a friendly person wiping the shopping cart for you and if you happen to forget your face mask, which trust even with all this time I tend to forget I need one lol they have extras for us to use, new ones of course. The store is very welled stocked, organized and clean. It's like... marshalls and HomeGoods literally had a baby... but this is the one combo that is always behind the star child. Really good... but not like the super huge ones that have a better selection. They have everything there, from cosmetics and clothes to furniture and everything for your home! I bought a beautiful cabinet for my bedroom, they have carpets, everything for the kitchen, bathroom, garden, also spices, some food... And all the staff are very friendly and helpful! One star deducted because this location still doesn't receive shipments of the higher end brands. It helps to visit often and if you like something make sure you buy it bc chances are it won't be there tomorrow! read more

I'm with my mom when we came here. My sister will go abroad and my mom wants to buy a Maleta here. They have a lot of colors and kinds of Maleta. My mom is having trouble choosing what to purchase so she asked me. I told her that I like the gray one. So he purchased it. Then we went to the womens clothing section because she wanted to buy a new dress. While she was choosing her dress I went to the chocolate section to buy chocolate and candies. I bought a pack of gummies , chocolate balls and strawberry candies. I went to the counter and paid for it. Then I went to my mom and she's not finished buying stuff. So while waiting for her I eat my gummies. After an hour she finished and she paid it at the counter. She's happy with her purchase. read more

I went to the store for the second time to return same item and was met with attitude.Then store employees Michelle,Mika,and Ana told me that I was lying about buying item from there store and they did not sell forever 21.So they looked up item on receipt and told me that item was not on receipt?So then why did another store return item no problem and told me item was on receipt? What's that issue with this store I'm lost why would I lie about a simple cheap dress ? check your cameras and you will see me buying dress at your store Just unbelievable,I was met with attitude by all store employees that I dealt with Michelle, Mika,Ana. Then I called store to speak with manager and Employee Ana told me that there was no manager there and he went to lunch and wouldn't be back for and 1hour .Then I called back and no one would pick up phone for 10min.Then when they finally picked up the manager was magically there after 10min not an hour.Then manager Nolan told me he could not look up item over the phone.Even though all his employees looked it up over the phone and told me item was not on receipt.I told him I didn't feel comfortable coming back to store because I was met with such Attitude and Hostility and was accused of lying about where I purchased item.I've never experienced such petty store workers just the worst costumer service I've ever experience.I've worked in costumer service for over 20 years there is no reason to be nasty with costumers as I have never abused or mistreated Costumers no excuse there something seriously wrong with these Marshall's employees yuck. read more

I had to stop by and get a gift and I didn't know what to get so at Marshall's they offer plenty of things to choose from. From clothes, shoes, household products so I was able to find a few things and I was on my way. Was not offered any assistance but I didn't need it anyway. read more

This place is not a place to work at they are so racist. My son worked at this place during the holidays of 2018. They treated my son so bad as a young black male. After the holidays they cut his hours and then when he went for another job some where else, they talked bad about him. So they cause him to not get the job! He's only 18 graduated 1year ahead from high school. He had Hispanic managers that was very racist, they don't want to give him hours but they will not give him references to go get him something better. I'm going to see what I can do about this. This is the worst place ever!!!!!!!! He was seasonal but no one called, emailed or text for three weeks why when he called the manager said someone was supposed to have called you... It's been a long time Marshalls! Can't tell you the last time I've been here since my recent visit. I had time to spare so decided to do a little shopping and Marshalls was the closest deal bargain in the area. Well, what great deals I found! $15 for a pair of Madden Girl black pumps I've been eying at DSW, but never bought because it was easily $35! Also a pair of JS sunglasses for $12.99! I found this Marshalls to be one of the more organized ones. The aisles were free of cluster and sizes and clothes were where they were suppose to be. Made my shopping easy breezy. Marshalls seems to have changed along with the improvements of the entire Winston plaza. They are definitely more cleaner and are better organized with their layout. They are also more efficient when it comes to check-out. I was really surprised how quickly the line moved and the ledge that has been added for the placement of you handbag - a very nice touch indeed. I rarely go shopping, as my children will attest, but I found myself in the need of new capris and matching tops, (I ruined two pairs in the wash - note to self do not wash oily dish towels with cottons). I first went to Sear's, (I'll yelp about that experience next) and didn't find any tops that said my name, (a sign that I supposed to purchase it - hence another reason why I don't shop and find anything I like - I'm just kidding. I need to really like it); so I went to Marshall's and was pleasantly surprised. With the use of the same space; they have improved their layout design which gives the illusion of more open area - this is good. The lighting could definitely be improved upon - brighter so one could see the item. The store was clean and didn't have that disheveled appearance as it has in the past. Perhaps, personnel are quick to re-hang and re-fold clothing items, that customers drop, although, I didn't see any and none came up to me to offer assistance, (although, this wasn't particularly necessary, but it may have been a nice touch). The bottom-line the store was tidy. The prices seem to have been lowered. Usually, I have found it to be a major hunt to find the "deal", but this time was surprised to find that Marshall's wasn't "gouging" on basic simple items. My check-out experience was also a surprise. It was fast! Plus, they've added that cute little ledge, that I mentioned above, for your purse to sit as you check-out. The cashier made eye contact, smiled, made the usual offerings for store credit cards, but was overall pleasant and professional. I have now entered several stores in the Winston plaza, (where Marshall's sits); where the intent is to "work" for my patronage. Marshall's has awoken to the fact that non-caring customer-service and cashiers along with messy stores and inflated prices, isn't going to make shoppers return - You need to treat people with respect and not like you are doing them a favor by simply standing there. Oh, one nice last afterthought: They have a sitting area for people who don't want to shop with the person they came with, and hopefully where unruly children who think it's okay to run-through the store to play, can be made to sit. I was followed around the store while I shopped and I had my son 2 year old son in the cart. As I was shopping a worker actually went through my cart like me and my son were invisible searching me like I was a criminal. She pulled things out the cart and my son was confused an scared that a stranger was touching him. I complained to corporate but never heard back. I guess they condone that behavior if the customer is African American. I will never go back or shop at any of their other locations. Some of my friends had the same experience. We are all professionals and have no reason to steal from anyone. read more

The selection is scarce and disorganized via different times of the week or time of the day-very slower paced for a Marshall's but it also may be the ghost town of a location. Uncomfortably harassed by a female employee/manager, I wasn't sure what to do but leave a review. I should've known better than to keep returning and finding the same results. ‍ read more

This whole shopping center gives off an air of chaos. People drive like maniacs through the parking lot, and the stores in general are busy and a little messy. My bf needed pillows and new shoes and HATES shopping, so I suggested Marshalls. They had a good selection of shoes in men's sizes, which I was impressed about, although some styles were mixed together and again, looking messy. I never have much luck with shoes for women's though! My guy found a few options he was into and found his size in almost each style. He found a nice pair for $30 and was totally happy. He also found his bed pillows with a decent enough selection of options/price ranges. They move the line through pretty efficiently here, but there was a really big line to begin with. I prefer my quieter Marshalls more locally, but this got the job done. read more

I walked in and turned back around to go out. Literally looks like hurricane Katrina came in to this store. Everything is in disarray and on the floor. Kid you not, never once did I see a worker picking up the clothes from the floor and hang them back up. The shoes forget it, all on the floor not even in pairs you find a shoe. Then you have the nasty shoppers in there who are pushy and hog the racks with whatever clothes that are on that rack. Workers there are very lazy I seen it myself. Found some great deals here. Your not paying for the atmosphere. If you want that go to oakbrook. Got $98 dollar perfume for $29 bucks. Sometimes I will go there looking for one item and come across something else at a great price. Coach shoes!! But...please fix the AUTOMATIC front doors. Its very annoying to p-u-s-h those doors that are very stuck and heavy and don't open and as a person with a disability. Not cool!! Suposed to be handicap accessable!!!! I really like this store! I feel like it's pretty organized, and they have a lot of great deals in their shoe, perfume/cologne, and home decor sections. I don't really find their clothing selection very modern or enticing, but I guess that's a personal style preference. The staff is pretty frazzled, running around all over the place. Overall, it's a great place to shop if only they were a bit more relaxed and had a wider variety of clothing. read more

The prices are low, and there are occasionally good deals on clothes and accessories, but it's usually just a mess with rude staff, slow lines, pushy shoppers, and low quality clothes that are only worth the discounted Marshall's price. Many Marshall's locations offer discounted designer handbags, shoes and personal care products but this location always seems to be lacking. The home goods section is also a mess, but has good deals on kitchen tools and decorations. Overall, not worth the trouble of navigating the messy store, and the even more chaotic plaza. read more

I recently went to Marshalls and I was forced to wait in a 45-minute line to purchase one item. There were employees standing around and pushing shopping carts while there were 2 people working at the register with a line going all the way to the back of the store. This was very unacceptable and frustrating. Many customers were agitated by this issue and as a result did not purchase anything. This is unacceptable. read more

I think they recognize that their primary customers are black and hispanic and, because of this, they don't care about having a nice store. It look s like either a hurricane hit the store or they are going out of business. Selection is poor and what they do have is on the floor. I hope the employees aren't paid too much. read more
