I'm very disappointed with the experience my mother had at this Marshalls Niles location. One of the cashiers kinda middle age, brown, tied up hair was disrespectful to her because she doesn't speak English fluently. The cashier questioned whether she speaks English and expressed confusion about how she could even be working--implying she wasn't capable because of the language barrier. For context, my mother works at another HomeGoods location and is an incredibly hardworking employee. She does her job well and is respected by her team, even though she doesn't speak much English. It was hurtful and unfair for her to be treated like she didn't belong simply because of a language difference. Marshalls and other companies under the same umbrella should hold their staff to a higher standard when it comes to inclusion and respect. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity--especially those who show up and do the work every day. read more

I came to pick up my chair I left behind . There was a young lady with glasses who brought it out . Not only did it fall plenty of times form the flat bed . She didn't even apologize . Not even for the damage she caused to the chair . Multiple scratches and bumps . Sadly it was my first encounter at this store . & im coming from the city . I went to this Marshall's recently and a beauty product caught my eye. There were 2 other women next to me while I was looking at the product. It was a boxed item that you couldn't see the inside product so I spun it in my hand to look at it and determine if I wanted it. Then the one women employee next to me started yelling at me for opening the product and stealing while I was just looking at it. It threw me off because I was only looking at the products. It was the rudest interaction I have ever had. I understand this is a rule. However, to yell at a customers while they are just looking at your products is insane. Then on top of it to assume you are stealing from them!! I argued back and noticed the product had already been opened then argued with the woman that I had planned on PURCHASING the item and the item was already opened. So after being accused I walked away and opened (the already opened) product to ensure the product was in there and looked okay for purchase. Turns out the wand to the beauty item was missing! Good thing I looked before purchasing! I noticed the remainder of my visit this women followed me around harassing me. I was so uncomfortable I had to put the item down and leave. It was hurtful honestly. I understand employees don't want you opening products. I have come across the situation so many times where I have bought products from Marshalls or TJ Maxx, ect. where the product was open and stolen. Sometimes it's necessary to check to be sure you're not buying an empty product that's been stole or is expired. But to be shouted at and accused of stealing while LOOKING at a product is bizarre. I would not recommend this Marshall's or going to any other store again after this interaction. read more

This marshalls is absolutely the best of most of them. Its always clean and organized and well stocked compared to other stores. The employee's are always willing to help and have your best interests. In finding good deals. Its location and where its tucked away in the corner of the strip mall makes it a prime shopping place for better deals and more variety with a huge parking lot too. The secret is out.. read more

I bought dresses online since their dressing rooms are still closed from covid. When I tried them on, only 1 fit out of 4. When I took 3 of the dresses back with my receipt. Marshall's refused to credit my debit card. They would only issue a store credit. I could not find this policy on their website and I feel it is deceptive. This Marshalls is very well-organized and brightly lit. Because it is newly built, their clearance section is minimal. In time, I'm sure the clearance rack will grow. The only disappointment was the shoe selection. Compared to other Marshalls I've been to, this location's shoe selection is minimal and needs to expand! I doubt it will expand because it seems that the shoe section is set in it's place. read more

I came in here with a friend and the place was the cleanest most organized TJ/Marshalls that I have ever been in. Except the home section. It is always a managery and if you do find what you are looking for it would be a miracle. I did find the clothes a little disappointing. I have never purchased any from here, but my friend was buying a sweater top and I looked at it closely. It looked used! The mid section needed a shave from all the bunnys coming out of the fabric? I know they have big names on a lot of their merchandise. But it is a sell-out for the vendors to be pushing this crap. Thanks for listening. read more

Obviously, this store has not been reviewed in one entire year, so let's give it an updated review. I rarely go to the store to shop, because I hate shopping. Period. However, my niece really wanted to go to this particular store on Wednesday evening. We arrived at 8 pm. The store closes at 9:30 pm. My niece went to the active wear section to look for a few tops for working out with her personal trainer (and of course, for the gym too). I was surprised how well organized and clean this store was, because normally they are not. Everything was in its proper place and the active wear section was much more extensive than I had anticipated. The choices were limited in that they only had one to three sizes of a particular item. For example, my niece wanted to purchase a light gray t-shirt by Nike, but they only had it in a "Medium" size (which she normally wears). However, this t-shirt was a little snug on her so she wanted to go up one size. The size "Large" was defective in that the left shoulder would not lay flat. Obviously, a manufacturing, quality issue with sewing. In the end, she ended up purchasing two tops and one Adidas capri. I purchased three name-brand running capri. I can never have enough since I am an avid runner and work-out enthusiast. I tried them on when I got home. Two fit like a glove -- perfect -- which I will keep. The third item was the correct size, but it ran "small" so I am returning the third one today. These were/are name-brand items, which sell for so much more at other department stores. I had no idea that Marshall's sells active wear! I'm glad my niece told me about it -- otherwise, I never would have known. Now that I discovered this store has a good selection of active wear I will probably go back when and if I need more bottoms or tops for running and/or working out. The store manager was very professional and the employees asked us if we "needed any help." I appreciated a well organized store, because it makes finding things soooo much easier! For the above reasons, I rate this store with four stars. read more

Bought capthalon cookware but its my sister who always go window shopping at this place. They offers branded items that didn't pass factory standards tho mostly, its thread issues,some stain or nothing at all. So I guess, between this store and ross, I'll give this one a plus point. Why? sometimes you might get lucky getiing good stuff bec. even branded outlet store got minor defects. As a shopper, we always have to check our stuff before leaving every store. read more

The store on dempster in Morton Grove closed and they moved to this location. I LOVE the location plenty of parking and the store is much bigger and cleaner. I always find something great and its pretty clean, the only thing that really bugs me and I've noticed this in almost all the Marshalls and tjmaxx stores is the line to RETURN. I HATE returning, you have to wait at least 10 minutes, and there is only one person working. There are all these registers open give us a break and open more then one return register! read more

There was an incident where an item was priced incorrectly, it was shown to be on clearance, but indeed it was not. I went up to check out and it was clearly priced wrong by an associate. The cashier as well as the rude manager made it out like I was the one who priced the item incorrectly. I did not appreciate the attitude the employees gave me. The item was clearly priced by an employee due to the smoothness of the sticker. The cashier began peeling the sticker off the ticket, then showed the manager, making it appear that I had changed the price. Highly disappointed by the treatment I received. read more
