The most distinctive feature I noticed is that their grocery department is huge and at least 2-3 times larger than in most other Targets. I'm not sure why that is, but the customer base here must support it. Due to traffic from the Costco warehouse as well as their gas station, it's usually a bit of a cluster to leave the area. Nonetheless, it's in a handy location particularly when one might be doing dual Costco and Target runs.

In between shots she was frequently on her phone and rushed our set which was MAYBE 10 minutes when last time we were here with a different photographer who was very nice and funny and took her time, excellent customer service. She took maybe 15 photos with some of us blinking or not smiling yet. Obviously we were not happy with the outcome and she had a VERY NASTY attitude saying she can't redo them because they're completely booked for the rest of the day AT THE SAME TIME her coworker was on the phone with a reservation who was running late. We just wanted a couple pictures redone as we were absolutely NOT going to pay $370+ for overall horribly taken photos. It seemed as though she was rushing us to get out of her face and it almost came off as price gouging as we did not pay that much last time we came. Super disrespectful woman who was rude to my mother on a day where we came to celebrate her. If you come here, make sure you do NOT have this disgrace of an employee as your photographer. We ended up not paying for any photos as they came out terrible and we endured an overall miserable experience. That woman ruined our Mother's Day outing. Next up will be calling corporate!

The store is good to have around for its convenient location factor, but we much prefer the Walmart on Rand Road in Mount Prospect as it is cleaner, has a better grade of clientele, and is relatively less congested. The community and clientele in the immediate area here is more in the typical Walmart customer range, meaning more frugal middle class, and that's one big factor that makes it a particularly busy location. Another is it's in a pretty large strip mall with several restaurants and other businesses. We'll come in if there is a particularly good deal on something, or to pick up an online order, or if we just need a little item and we might be passing by at a relatively quiet time. Today, the little items were cake pop sticks and dipping flavors. A-OK on this particular store.

This is a nice, small, quiet, peaceful, and well maintained mall.  It is an L shaped mall that has…read moreplenty of close parking and it's largely occupied by medical related offices and a dentist, but there's also the high quality Minelli Deli.  They have a nice and relaxed inside eating area also.  Recently, Anytime Fitness joined the mall roster.  Admittedly most of my visits here have been related to medical followups but occasionally we visit Minelli Deli and the Jewel that is at one end of the mall.  There is also a Starbucks coming to the corner of the parking lot right by the Oakton St and Milwaukee Ave intersection.  I don't know if the Starbucks will technically be part of Oak Mill mall but whatever.  I always thought whoever the mall manager is, they do a nice job on appearance, maintenance, and upkeep here.  I like that because I pass by this place fairly frequently and it's a lot better seeing something well maintained and attractive rather than rundown.

Their parking lot is adequate and spacious but like most Targets, watch out for all the sometimes crazy pedestrian traffic by their entrance.

However, the amount of traffic wasn't conducive to their attempt to get the entire venue cleaned up. I was able to find some hand soaps. They do have an extensive selections of them, organic and inorganic. Choices were many. They were pretty fully-stocked for the holidays. I found a couple of Kenneth Cole Reaction man's messenger bags, but their conditions were a bit shabby. I would say make sure you check all the buckles, pockets, interiors, and exteriors before making your purchases. The same principle apply on clothing, food, accessories, and miscellaneous items. Like I've said in my other reviews, I like discount stores like Marshall's, but you need to take time going through all departments; don't expect speedy shopping to be done here.
