It's been over a decade since I've been to this mall so I was very excited to return. Thankfully, the parking garage was right next to the mall, so it was a short walk to the entrance. The outdoor mall was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. We browsed in and out of a few different stores and everyone was very nice and attentive. The one store that caught our attention was Laderach, which was a Swiss chocolate store. We were able to sample truffles and chocolate bars and it was probably the best tasting chocolate we've ever had. We also stopped in to Coach and I ended up buying my daughter a cute, Coach bag. With stores like Zara, Fabletics, Alo, Louis Vuitton and Nordstrom, you truly get a great, shopping experience at this mall; there's something here for everyone. There's also ample seating as well. If you're in the Chicagoland area, this is definitely the mall to visit. You will not be disappointed!

I remember this place from my childhood from over 35 years ago and nothing has really changed. Meaning there is no additional parking there is no additional space. There is no additional signage in the parking lot to tell you that something is one way. So fantastic that all these stores are here and especially all these high-end stores, but there is no place to park and we all know damn well that all these North Shore women, although they all are within walking distance of these fantastic shops will not walk here and then carry their bags home. They would rather drive here. So not sure why there's an over abundance of tenants and again a lack of parking. Someone do something about the parking. And if you know anything about this area, you also know that if you go directly outside that you cannot park on the street you also cannot park on any of the residential roads as well. God forbid you put your random car in front of the multimillion dollar wilmette homes.

The store selection is limited. Sak Fifth Avenue is the larger store. They do have Nike, Gap, Victoria Secret and more. The mall does have a food court. They do have high end stores upstairs. One day it's like 9am to 5pm the next day it's 3pm to 12am and the next day it's 4am to 12pm. They do nothing about shoplifting or worse people complaining about the prices only for the manager to give them what they want even though they will complain about your sales being too low. You are paid minimum wage with no health insurance or benefits for being overworked like animals and the "exclusive" worker discount are a joke. You don't even get a discount on FUCKING MILK! As a worker do not support this place until they learn to treat their workers better. Not to mention that even with inflation the deals are terrible. Like I believe as of right now there is a sale on chips buy 3 get 2 free (idk my department mostly stays in one place) but the chip bag sizes are a THIRD of what they used to be and the prices are absurd. The meat especially is a joke they are small cuts with huge chunks of fat poorly trimmed and often leak meat juice out of them. The produce is the worst part as everything is either rotting, looks like it's going bad, too small, or even a combination of all three. Want my advice go to Sam's Club and buy your groceries in bulk or even Mariano's since this place is owned by Ebenezer Scrooge.

I never really looked into it before but I thought Five Below was maybe a lower end clothing store lol. Anyway, it's basically an a-ok dollar store with items priced nominally up to $5. It's a fine store for such and they have a wide variety of items. They may not have the quality of a Hello Tokyo or a Daiso but you get more for your discount dollars here it appears. The kiddos had plenty of fun items to pick from to stay under their $5 budget and they enjoyed their shopping here. My only critique is that many items showed a scan code but no specific price except a sign saying less than $5. I had to ask the friendly and helpful attendant several times what an item's price was and most items we picked were $3.50 or $4 but it would be helpful to show an exact price if possible. I would recommend any discount shoppers check out this a-ok franchise to see if there's a consumer fit for themselves.

It wasn't said in a friendly or joking way--it came across as disrespectful and unprofessional, especially in a retail environment where customer service should feel welcoming. Even if the comment wasn't directed at me, it made the atmosphere uncomfortable. When you're shopping, you expect kindness and professionalism, not negativity. Old Navy is usually known for being family-friendly and approachable, but moments like this really affect the overall shopping experience. I hope the store management takes this seriously and reminds staff (if it was an employee) that tone and attitude matter. A simple word said the wrong way can make customers feel unwelcome, and that's not what anyone wants when they come in to shop.

Currently the bathrooms are still closed, due to the pandemic (sorry, no bathroom review this time). I remember when I was a wee lad, I thought Old Navy was the Gucci of clothes. Granted, I grew up with Venture and KMart clothes, and shoes from Payless (Pro Wings baby). Nothing wrong with that, but brand named clothes was a pipe dream for this poor kid. So in my early teens, to find out of a place where you actually see commercials of on TV, and prices that were typically ~$20-40, I thought I would waltz into highschool as the most fashionable kid there was. And you sure can! With some creativity and layering, you can get yourself some great outfits for $100 easily. Ain't nothing wrong with that! Nowadays, I come here mostly for accessories: Gloves, hats, scarves, the occasional undershirt, and funny tshirt. The quality of Old Navy clothes are "OK". They definitely don't fall apart after 5 washes, like H&M, but definitely put your clothes in the "delicate" cycle when washing. If you like reasonably fashionable clothes, that don't break the bank, definitely check out an Old Navy!
