I LOVE this place! I always come to return merchandise & they're so nice and friendly... Plus they have new stuff so I always end up spending more. Called to see if they had a brand of snow boots that the Marshalls at the Plaza had, but in a different size. "We don't have no snow boots", they said before I could really finish my sentence. Marshalls, at least hire professionals that speak proper English to your customers. I feel like I've never really dealt with competent employees at this location. read more

I spend at least $500 a month in this store. I never return things even when I probably should. I bought an expensive perfume for myself after Christmas and had it sitting in a bag with some of my gifts. I went to unload my gifts and noticed the perfume had leaked all over my gifts and was missing over half the bottle. It smelled terrible and it started to erode the top of the bottle. I am 9 months pregnant, took the time to clean it up as best as I could, came in with my receipt and the manager told me she would not do the return because she said she saw the bottle in the store before I bought it and it was full therefore since it left full she wasn't going to do anything about it. I have never had such terrible customer service in my life. The fact that she wouldn't accept my return for even store credit is just a joke. Something led to that perfume leaking out on my things and the case it's in makes sense as to why it would be able to leak as there is no packaging other than an acrylic display that screws in. I do not appreciate the way you treated me today and I'm hoping corporate has a little more decency than you did, Valerie. To not accept my return with the receipt is to say that I'm responsible for the damage and missing perfume. I have at least 45 perfumes in my collection, at least, and I never even tried this one on because the smell of it was so overwhelming after damaging 2 pairs of brand new lulu lemon pants that it leaked through to. I hope you get every ounce of customer service thrown back at you when you need someone's professionalism and common sense and they don't give it to you. read more

My review is in regards to the lack of customer service when asked to check for an additional size at check out. I was assisted by Kam or rather not assisted when I went to the register and asked an she immediately responded NO whatever is out there is out there. Instead of trying to check she just shot me down. I understand that all the inventory is out on the floor but the least you could do was check for me. Hopefully you don't encounter her if you need any type of assistance. read more

I love this store. All of their stuff is good quality and very reasonable prices compared to how much it would cost in another store. It seems as though they are always getting new stuff in so you always have a new selection to pick from. I just went there and got so much stuff for a bargain! :) read more

the manager is very bad to be responsible for their quality of products, I bought a pair of shoes for my daughter, it's broken just half a day, after three days, I went to refund it, they refused to refund it, they said it's broken, I said to the manager: if it's not broken only wearing half a day, why I wanna come to refund? At first I was happy with the customer service. Then I found a comforter set that was the last of its size and it had a mark on the sheet. The sensor was on it so it may have been returned. They told me no discount. They told me full price or go home try to clean it and if it doesn't come out bring it back. For real!!!!?????!!! This came from the manager. I have been shopping at this location for several years. Always enjoyed the product, service, and location. On January 11, 2016 I purchased a comforter from the location, took it home to made sure it matched my room and I was pleased with its appearance. I then washed it in my large capacity washer and drier and was shocked to see that when I went to lay it on my bed parts of the comforter had melted and there were holes in parts of the material. I was very disappointed but I had full confidence that the associates at marshall's would understand the situation and have no problem giving me my money back for a defective product that they had sold me. I was completely wrong. They told me it was my fault and that I had not washed it correctly. They refused to give me any money or store credit. They suggested I write a letter to the manufacturer. Needless to say I will no longer be shopping at this, or any marshall's from here on out. I hope my story will be beneficial to other shoppers and if you work hard for your money don't waste it here! read more

After Christmas shopping. I love my local Marshall's always walk out with great deals. The clearance rack is organized and rarely do you find items unmarked. Great handbag selection. The store is nice and clean with friendly sales associates. read more

Yesterday on Sunday the 29th, as we roll into Easter week, I was shocked to see what Marshalls employees feel about their guest. My wife Sandra (Sand) is a "loyal" shopper at both the Corona and the new Riverside store. Sometimes I don't get it. How can one go into a store almost on a weekly basis shopping? Maybe it's because Sand has a nose for those bargains on items we need around our home, and in return we get great named products at awesome prices. I'm sure this holiday week will be busy for Marshalls in all aspects of products they sell. Recently, while cooking corn beef hash in the oven, the heat proof handle on my best skillet didn't hold up, and broke as I removed it from the oven....just in time to reach the butcher's block and prevent a accident. My wife convinced me to go shopping for a replacement. We arrived at the store about 10 minutes before closing, and dashed directly back to the cookware section to quickly look. As we began to shop, a floor clerk began to inquire on her two-way radio "Are You Still Letting People Into The Store?...Because They're Still Coming In Back Here" (the clerk was referring to us, as we were the ONLY one in the immediate area). As the store was still opened, I look at my wife in disbelief, and said "let's get out of here" the clerk was unaware we overheard the comment she made. As I passed her on my way out of the store, I commented to the clerk "that comment was unnecessary as we did not just walk in to the store" to which she replied "I wasn't speaking to you". I responded "but you were speaking of us, and you should watch what you say about a guest of the store in their presence". As I reached the exit, the shift manager was locking the doors. I explained to her what we experienced. While she offered no apology, she did comment "that doesn't sound like something we would say (even though she was wearing a headset and had to have heard the conversation directed towards her). The manager did say she would discuss the matter with the employee, but as I see it, I'm not a fan of doing the whole treasure hunt that Marshalls is, and would rather go and use my gift card at Sur La Table and add some money to it to get exactly what I want and need....or go to the Kitchen Collection at the Outlets in Lake Elsinore...or even pay up the wazoo and go to Sonoma Williams where at least I know the service matches the quality and price of the item I'm buying...shame on you Marshalls 605. I will say if I do decide to shop Marshalls again, it will be at the Riverside store, where we received nothing but GREAT service. The floor staff are very helpful, and ask if you need help. Cashiers are polite and hold a conversation with the guest. The last time we shopped there we purchased a large item, and the clerk offered to help us to the car without us even asking. I'm sure this is not the culture of the company, just a reflection of complacent employees that should be retrained or replaced. read more
