In all fairness, their posts on another site warned we might have to take an alternate route, but my friend and I still managed to drive in circles a bit before finally finding the huge sign out front! But, that's ok-Trenton is a cute little town so we enjoyed the unintentional exploring. We expected the store footprint to be a little larger, but there were still plenty of things to look at and choose from. Metalwork dominates. There was a flock of hot pink metal flamingos, huge multi-colored roosters and bright red cardinals on wire hangers and metal stakes. There were enormous sunflowers, wind chimes and rock sculptures. And lots more. The back room had some vintage items including a couple of ladders that would be great for hanging quilts. According to the very nice gentleman behind the counter, they are usually open spring - Christmas and the stock changes as they sell out and replace with new merchandise. Around the holidays it becomes a big gift shop. If you are in the area, it is worth a stop. My advice would be to pair it with lunch and a visit to some of the shops along W. Jefferson downtown and make a day of it. You won't get dirty at The Dirty Hoe, but neither will you have to work hard to have a good time. Overalls not required.

Turquoise is the theme color of Maurice's decor. The store entrance and the bags for merchandise are both this beautiful color. Maurices is a one stop shop for moms and daughters. They offer clothes from girls sizes 7-14 through women's size 3X The only thing they could do a little better is to have more sales. I bought one item and spent over $30. I definitely plan on coming back to look at the clearance rack.

Although busy, and facing a deadline, she had me perfectly fitted in less than 10 minutes, and promised to have the suit and shirt pressed and ready for me the Friday before Memorial Day. She even threw in the pink pocket square after asking my little sister's favorite color. She assured me that everything would be steamed and pressed, and there was no need to try anything on after taking 1/2" from the sleeves. Sure enough, I received a text at 10am Friday morning to remind me that my purchase was prepared.
