Stopped in for dinner and were greeted and seated immediately. Our server, who was very pleasant took our drink orders and said she would check to see if the were ready with the evening's specials as were a little early. She was able to convince them to release the special lists for us which had plenty of items to choose from.There was a good selection of things to choose from. We decided on the clam chowder bread bowl, French onion soup, grilled cheese, and onion rings. We asked that everything be delivered at once which it was. The French onion soup was as flavorful as always. A deep rich beef base with plenty of onions, cheese and croutons. Always a favorite of ours here. The chowder bread bowl was large with the top of the bread bowl toasted which was a nice touch. The bread was very fresh and filled to the top with plenty of clams and potatoes and a very creamy rich broth. Bread bowls are a favorite and this didn't disappoint. The best part is tearing the bowl apart so you get that nice flavor of the chowder coming through. The grilled cheese was your standard grill cheese. Nicely grilled with a little crust on the outside and plenty of cheese inside. A large portion of tater tots came with the sandwich and they were fried nicely except they were a little greasy.And plenty of butter was used on the bread to get it nice and toasty. The onion rings could have been fried a little longer and, like the tater tots, were a tad greasy. But the onions were nice and fresh and still had a good crunch to them. All in all the meal was good, service was great, and seating is always comfortable. We'll be going back in the near future. read more

Had the NE clam chowder - thick and chunky with great balance of seasoning. First time in a long time I didn't have to add pepper. We went on a Friday night during the summer. We were able to be seated right away. Plenty of parking in the lot, although the spaces are weirdly shaped and hard to back into but that may just be me haha Anywho! We didn't get alcohol that night but they had some cool sounding cocktails. For dinner I had the Caesar salad and coconut shrimp. Both were excellent! The salad was huge had tons of cheese and croutons. The shrimp came in an order of 6 which was a perfect amount. My dad got the fish sandwich with fries, my mom got the special of the night Salmon vini (tortellini, asparagus, tomatoes and prosciutto with a wine sauce and salmon on top) Both loved their meals. Andy and Joan, This review is to express how appalled we were by the conduct of your staff during our visit last night. We had a group of 24 people and called four separate times in advance to advise your team, knowing you do not take reservations. Each time we were explicitly told by your staff to "just show up." We followed those instructions in good faith. When we arrived, the waitress made it immediately clear that she was put off by the size of our group. Given her reaction, I asked if we should take our group elsewhere. Her response was hostile and unprofessional. When I reminded her that tips are based on service, her behavior escalated dramatically. She called me a "jerk", refused to serve me based on that comment which tips are OPTIONAL and then proceeded to tell multiple members of our party that I was a "f***ing a$$hole," repeating it several times. This was not a misunderstanding. It was a complete breakdown of professionalism and basic respect for customers. You should also understand the impact of this incident. These were 24 local patrons, many of whom have dined at your establishment for years. Every one of them left stunned by how they were treated. None of us will be returning. In addition, our annual marina winter gathering, which has historically brought significant business to your restaurant, will never be held there again. I would not recommend your establishment to friends, family, or even bring my dog to your property. This is not about a bad day or a simple mistake. This was unacceptable conduct that reflects directly on your business and your standards. You lost more than one table that night. You lost the loyalty of an entire local community group. read more

Great ambiance and service, the restaurant was filled with quite a crowd when we were there and the servers were all on top of it and kind. The food was fine, nothing special. I would not recommend the clam chowder, but the coconut shrimp were yummy. We got two cocktails but I wouldn't recommend either - it's definitely more of a beer/wine venue. read more

We, my wife and I are regular customers. We had the swordfish special last night. It was a 10. Whenever they have mushrooms as the special appetizer, we order it. Great. My husband and I went to the Lost Dog Pub in East Dennis last night for dinner, we go there often and usually sit in the dining room. Last night we sat at the bar and were served by two awesome young men, Harry & Sean, I was very impressed with their ability to mix drinks while being personable with people at the bar. My husband ordered the steak tips and thought his dinner was delicious. I ordered one of my favorites, the scallops nantucket and it did not disappoint. Ordered garden salad and crab cakes.. Friendly staff and busy. Had a drink and beer while waiting. Salad good but I think it is Greek, not Garden... not sure. The crab cakes have much to be desired. Was hoping for big chunks of crab meat. Nope. Ok little chunks of crab meat... nope. I will settle for small chunks of crab meat. Na na na na... I think I see tiny flecks of crab meat. They are red but not sure. Could be the linings of crab pinchers. Don't get me wrong. The cakes taste good. Kind of like falafel drenched with crab juice. But I taste no pieces of crab meat. :( Oh well. Drinks are good. Service excellent. Feeling vegan right now... except for the goat cheese in my salad. Yep. Was charged for Greek not Garden. We always try to visit the lost dog pub whenever we're in the Cape, which is usually twice a year. This time we seated right away and the waitress came and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered a wine sangria and my partner ordered pink lemonade. They didn't take too long to come. I did however take several minutes before she came back to ask if we wanted to order I ordered a 10 inch pizza and he ordered clam chowder and a cheese steak sandwich. The food was delicious as always. I had eaten about half my pizza and wanted a box to take the rest home, our server Caroline didn't come back to the table at that time so I flagged somebody else down asked for a to go box and a water. Around five minutes later, Caroline brought me the box without the water, and then the other waiter finally brought me my water. So then we sat there waiting for her to return so we can ask for dessert another six or so minutes went by. She came by and put the check on the table and said thank you and I said we were going to order dessert and he would like another pink lemonade. She said oh what would you like so we told her we wanted the Boston cream pie and a peanut butter pie. I timed it. We waited exactly 11 minutes for her to return to our table with no lemonade and to tell us that neither dessert was available. I was more disappointed that it took her 11 minutes to let us know they did not have the dessert we wanted than I was about the fact that they were sold out of the dessert. I have no doubt that Carolyn knew we were disappointed by the tip we left her. We are generous tippers and always let managers know when service is exceptional. We will always leave a tip, but the service does reflect on how much. read more

I brought him here for a birthday drink and he got thrown out because he asked why he was being ignored. is that even legal? i know one thing , it was definite elder abuse! I think you need to address this bartender and she shouldn't be left alone. I am a former bar manager and worked in hospitality my whole life. her behavior was abhorrent and truly insulting! I can see why you have a 3.5 rating! last time going back and we go 4x a year. I don't think your place wants to lose off season customers. take action please. she is not a keeper! read more

I've been coming here since I was little and it's a must-visit whenever we're up on the cape. I'm a huge wings fan and I have to say that they really do have the best boneless buffalo wings here! I really dream about them when i'm not on the cape... they are that good. We also tried their fried pickles recently and i'm definitely going to order them next time!!
