We went with Chameleon Painting because from the initial consultation, Manuel was prompt, knowledgeable, helpful and had a professional and personable attitude. We have an entryway with high ceilings, moldings and trim, and a carpeted stairwell that we needed to have painted. After our consultation, they were painting in less than 2 days. They carefully removed all furniture and paintings. Their prep work and protection of floors and walkways leading to the house was meticulous. Worst painter ever!!! He, Manuel Arellano of Chameleon Painting, was hired to paint the walls and ceilings of my house, NOT overspray and gouge the freshly refinished 80 year old hardwood floors. Manuel was advised of the freshly refinished floors three times, not that anyone would need to be told, it was obvious, they looked spectacular! I mentioned the floors when he came by to bid the job, a second time on the phone when he took the job and a third time when he showed up with his "painters". Manuel assured me he would do a great job and be extra careful with the floors. He lied, the gouge was over 31 inches long, to make matters worse, he tried to cover up the gouge with some type of scratch hiding chemical. He never apologized and seemed only to be interested in getting paid. There are many quality painters looking for work right now. I had the entire exterior of my home painted - all stucco, wood and wrought iron. Don't hire these guys! I need them available to paint another property for me. Here is my story...I have been working with painters for over 35 years so I know how to properly prep and paint. I saw these guys painting my neighbor's house and it was the first time I have seen painters 100% doing things the right way and not rushing the job. So they took on my 100% wood Queen Anne Victorian Gingerbread house. Some of the wood is 130 years old. The prep work took almost 3 weeks of wood repair, Bondo, sand, prime, repeat. This not a "power spray, paint spray and go" company. They do all that prep and then they do brush, roll and spray as appropriate. They use the highest quality paint but still apply 2 coats. The workers take great pride and don't cut corners. The owner tells them to do what it takes to make the customer happy. They did a lot of extra detail I never expected. The price was very reasonable. I am sure I could have got it painted for less but not at this level of quality. read more

I've owned this home for 26 years, and I've had a lot of people do work on it over that time. Chameleon Painting did the best job of any company I've ever had work on my home. I bid the job for the house and patio only, but they did my garage, several other walls, as well as my garage and front doors, for no extra charge! I think they just want to leave the job knowing they can be proud of it, so they didn't want to leave some areas in anything less than better-than-new condition. They did a lot of extra little things that I didn't even know were important, like pouring concrete where dirt abuts the foundation and using fungicide in the paint in areas where I had a mold issue. My house has very delicate roof tiles, and yeah they broke a few, but they replaced or repaired them so I can't complain. Overall the house looks better than when we remodeled it 20 years ago. They weren't the cheapest but I feel that I received top-quality work that will keep my house looking really good for years to come. read more
