The boat itself was spotless and very comfortable, and the whole crew was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It felt like the perfect way to spend a summer evening--relaxing, scenic, and well-hosted. We honestly had low expectations for the charter cruise and let me tell you, it exceeded our expectations by far! The whole ride was really amazing. We had a windy day and it was still such a beautiful, peaceful and historically informative ride. They had a map on board so we could see where we were, and where we were headed. They pointed out the local lighthouses and other fun facts along the way. If we didn't have such a windy day it would have been lovely to jump off the boat and enjoy the really cool hammock at the front of the boat where a bunch of people can sunbath and enjoy beverages. We still enjoyed our adult beverages and we were treated with a cheese and cracker platter which was a really nice touch. It was a really special family afternoon and we could not have done it without this rental agency. Honestly before this summer I did not know that you could even rent a motor boat on Nantucket. Fortunately I walked by the stand and got the idea. The service was awesome. You sign up online and pick the boat you want. When we showed up they had upgraded me to a bigger better boat. Then after the first hour of the trip it was clear the engine wasn't working perfectly (but it was OK) and so I actually had the cell phone of Brandon, the guy who helped us at the dock, and he literally came out and swapped out another bigger and better boat for us! Talk about customer service! The boats are solid and sturdy but nothing fancy. Honestly people rent them every day so there's no way you could possibly get a fancy brand spanking new boat through a rental agency. But they are solid and they work and it's just a fantastic way to explore Nantucket Harbor and the surrounding beaches. Truly an amazing day and again the customer service by Brandon was absolutely 10 out of 10. He could not of been a more helpful guy.
