As of July 24th 2025 the course is in good shape unlike some reviews from last year. You can see where they've replaced a bunch of the greens. I was definitely skeptical about coming based on the recent reviews but overall it was a good experience. Not the best mini golf course I've ever played but had a great time with the fam nonetheless. Biggest complaint is the holes are uneven so the ball rolls back sometimes or gets stuck up against the wall. $12 for adults and $10 for kids. read more

If you want to just have something to do but you don't care about the actual mini golfing, then this could work. Otherwise, the turf is uneven (and not on purpose), one hole was completely flooded, one hole had the green ripped up, and a couple of holes we just had to skip because there was no way to play it properly. Bit the ice cream shop was nice. And the ice cream was good!! read more

Wonderful! For only $12 to play mini golf I had a great experience. All the greens have been fixed and up to date. Don't listen to any of the non-locals, but me. This is a must go to when here. read more

The worst, what a rundown eye sore this place is. Trash around the place. The putting areas are a mess, the fake greens are ripped apart and the holes are broken and cracked. There is one hole that was actually under water. Save your money and stay away! read more

We've been going here for miniature golf forever. It was never a particularly creative course, but it was fun and well kept. The new owners have let it go to seed. It's pretty run down, and the flora is completely overgrown. Desperately needs some TLC. It's the only mini golf game in town, so it'll probably continue to pull in customers, but set your expectations accordingly read more

Run down, greens need to be replaced. Played at night. Couldn't see some of the holes and some of the walkways were dark and dangerous. Balls constantly roll back to you! Awful! read more

After all you only turn 13 once. Enter Island Cove Mini Golf. What a great place for a round of mini golf but what an amazing place for a birthday party. ICMG has a package that includes a round of mini golf, food (burger or hotdogs, choice of drink) and ice cream with the cake you brought with you. We couldn't have asked for a better time. The kids decided to add on the climbing wall for a small charge and best of all they had a really memorable 13th birthday party! The owners are really friendly and the staff follows suit. ICMG has plenty of parking, plenty of food to chose from on the menu, ice cream, shaded picnic tables and lots of fun. read more

Your trip to the Vineyard must include a little visit to the mini golf course. If you ignore this island institution, which you will drive by on a consistent basis unless you remain sheltered in Edgartown, you will miss out on some serious family friendly fun. It's right across from Cronig's and a big presence on State Road. Lots of parking behind, which is key in August. Presidents and rock stars have played here, along with the rest of us who appreciate it for family birthday parties and days when out of town kids are visiting. I think just about every year-round island kid has had a birthday party here if they are blessed with a summer birthday. (There used to be a bowling alley a short way up the road- no longer.) They have really good ice cream (sometimes we just come down for that) and some basic grilled food, which is good to know. All of that strenuous putting can make you really hungry. They also have a rock climbing wall, but I have been too timid to try it out, so I can't give a first hand review of it. I can't say that it is the most exciting or artistic mini golf course in the land, but it is a lot of fun, and very clean. Just like the carousel in Oak Bluffs, it's a traditional summer activity for all island families and for couples of any age out on a casual date. We make the rounds every summer and hope you do, too. read more

If i could give 7 stars I would. Nothing beats getting completely tore up and then going here for some mini golf... and by mini golf I mean DRIVING THE BALLS OUT THE PARK - especially in the cave! Wind up and TRY not to get hit by the ball pinging off the walls. It WILL go in the water. Enjoy watching tourists agonize over the rip off 18th hole. NO PRESSURE!! good times. Ice cream available. It's damn good. Mmmmm, frappe. EDIT: you aren't supposed to drive the balls. Be gentle. I'm kind of a jerk sometimes. read more

Found this place by accident while wondering down State Road. I love mini-golf and I am so happy we stayed and played after getting drinks. Pretty cheap for mini-golf, it was a Thursday afternoon and the place was full of children, but one of the employees had us follow him and start at the 9th hole, and then when done to get new balls and start over, and we did. Lots of water features, and they even had water spraying around the course so you could go over to the nozzle and get wet. It was very very hot out. Gorgeous flowers everywhere. It was an okay course. Mostly hills and seemed like they ran out of room on the last 4 holes cause they seemed crammed in. This is a pretty little mini-golf course! Not all the water features were full and/or operating, but it was beautifully landscaped and there was plenty of parking. One of the holes goes through a cave with a waterfall! The restrooms were clean and they even let us buy the red golf ball I won the game with. Great for adults as well as kids. read more

i would give it 5, but its kind of a small mini golf course. uhmmm i took the boys i nanny here, and they seemed to like it, we had a good time and its always fun competing for that hole-in-one. they also have a grill along with an ice cream stand...great place to take the kids when they have had just enough of the beach. If I could, I would give this place 100 stars!!! It was truly an amazing experience. So when we got to the place, the owner was there. She said that they didn't open until the following Monday, but after she saw that we lived far from he place, she let us play the course, even though they were closed. The owner is very nice, each hole is unique and fun (one has a ramp), and there are fish in little ponds around the courses. So if you like fish or mini golf, this is the place for you. read more

I'm at a bit of a loss after reading all these reviews because my experience was pretty terrible. We were visiting off season in September so the Mini Golf wasn't busy, which I assumed was due to the time of year. After just a few holes I realized that the course was awful to the point which I almost didn't want to finish. Maybe it was a tough summer on the course and things will be better next year but I left feeling like I just threw $20 out the window! read more

Our family LOVES Island Cove! It's great fun! We have had some of the best tournaments EVER at Island Cove. We bring our special golf balls back every summer. It makes it fun. You can buy them there. The ice cream and hamburgers are delicious. The staff is always attentive and helpful. The course is clean and well maintained. We love the cave too.
