I hadn't been here in years and decided to give it another chance. After this visit, I remembered exactly why I stopped coming. The food was just okay. I ordered the chicken filet sandwich with egg and cheese, a hash brown, and a medium Diet Coke. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't good enough to make up for everything else. The biggest issue was the staff. The cashiers were rude, and the employees moved around with no sense of urgency. It felt like customers were an inconvenience instead of the reason they're in business. A friendly attitude goes a long way, and there was very little of that during my visit. What bothered me the most was how greasy the restaurant felt. It wasn't just a little wear and tear; it felt like layers of grease had built up over time on the floors, chairs, and tables. We went on Labor day morning where there was a huge drive thru line. There was a bit of a wait, but i expected it to be with only 2 employees working. There was a huge selection of different foods, but we were excited to order the breakfast biscuit sandwiches!!! We got a bacon&egg, sausage&egg, and fried chicken biscuit, in which all were pretty good! the chicken biscuit was a little bit drier than the other two. The man and woman working this Saturday were so incredibly friendly! The biscuit is just the way I remembered it, absolutely perfect! This place is a well kept secret away from the Gwinnett Health Department. Mediocre food meets filth! Which explains why most people go through the drive through and don't see the disgusting, dirty outdated inside. If the outside windows, splattered in year old bird droppings and outside dirt don't scare away the locals, then they must have really low standards. Maybe people are nostalgic for what it was 30 years ago, but today the rude staff, the improperly cleaned floors, kitchen area and tables are indicative of a true health hazard. One look at the fryer with dirty grease inside and splattered outside (probably hasn't been cleaned in three years) should be indicative of the need for a more up to date health inspection by Gwinnett County (which, when we were there gave it a "B") but based on the actual report pictured here should have earned a "D"! it appears to be a fire hazard, which would be doing it a favor if it did burn down.... read more

We used to come once a month for five days to the Scott Antique market. We travel from South Carolina. We always look forward to Martin's breakfast. My husband had the sausage biscuit with gravy this morning and I just had a sausage biscuit. Service is fabulous. Prices are fabulous. Food is fabulous. And none other place can aspire to such great biscuits. They're always moist no matter what. Didn't think it could get slower, I was wrong. Spent over $23.00 for a Bacon, Egg & Cheese w/Xtra Bacon Biscuit, Hashbrowns, Orange juice & Apple Pie. Went through the drive thru. Only one in line waited 1 minute before even being acknowledged I was there, ask me to hold. 2 minutes later, took my order. Pull up, wait an additional 2 minutes to get food. Handed me my order, no thanks, have a good day, just hand the order and turn around. Get to work, take the items out of my grease-soaked bag, open my biscuit only to find a spoon of cold eggs, bacon that is just a lot of barely cooked fat and a slice of cheese that is about half the size of the biscuit. Grease soaked hashbrowns dripping onto my desk. I couldn't bring myself to eat such a mess. Through it in the trash and called Chick-fil-A paid to have a bacon, egg, cheese biscuit w/Xtra bacon, hashbrown, bottle of Orange Juice, delivered, tip the driver and spent no more money than I did at Martins. The food is awesome. Service is terrible. Ive been in line for 10 minutes and moved up 1 car space. The traffic is going into the road. Not because of demand. Because they're slower than turtle shit. It's honestly hard for me to leave this review because I've been a HUGE fan of their breakfast forever. One of my favorite spots. But it's went further and further downhill since the pandemic. I had been wanting to try this restaurant for over a year. I'd pass by over and over again, but with their short hours it never really worked with my schedule. Finally, just two Saturdays ago, I decided to stop in the drive-thru for breakfast. There was already a huge line at about 10:30am. I was about 10 cars deep as the last one in, with more cars packing in behind me, but the line moved surprisingly fast. It was so refreshing to have such a nice worker take my order and not be rushed like most fast food places these days. I understand 99% of them operate on a strict timer and they catch hell from their bosses if they're not taking orders quickly enough, but for my first time here, I'm glad there was no pressure like that. I decided to try the ham/egg/cheese biscuit, sausage gravy biscuit (one of my favorite breakfasts), and a small order cheesy grits on the side. All the workers I interacted with were really nice. No complaints on service whatsoever. Everything was packed well. No gravy or grits spilled on the way home. As I dug in at home, I was met with pure nostalgia. My mom used to make some really good breakfast sandwiches when I was growing up and the ham, egg, and cheese brought me back to those days. The biscuits were nice and fluffy and buttery - just the right texture. I really enjoyed the sausage gravy biscuit also. I'll take almost anything drenched in gravy or sauce, if it's good lol. And I'll take biscuits almost any day of the week too, so it's a perfect match. The cheesy grits I ordered were good - a simple complement to a filling meal. The portion for me was just right as a side. They seem to use sliced American cheese on top, which is fine with me, as I do that at home sometimes too. Overall, I give the experience, service, and meal 10 out of 10. I gotta start coming here more regularly. Mcdonald's, Dunkin', and the rest don't measure up. read more

We placed an order online for six people at our office. We placed the order with a lot of advance notice so the order would be ready. We got there to pick-up the order and was told they had not even started getting the order together. They were very rude and didn't even apologize for the delay. We finally got the order and when we got back to the office, we discovered several of the items were not correct. We also ordered large FF and one person received a small order. But of course we paid for a large. Needless to say, we will not order a pick-up order from them again. Since my job moved to Peachtree Corners I have been on a quest to find a decent breakfast spot. I don't mean any kind of breakfast more so like a country style breakfast. I stopped by here again today on Monday after many years. The line moves rather quickly even with many cars. The girl taking orders in the drive thru over the intercom was so RUDE. You could tell she hated her job. She would interrupt me during my order and had the worst attitude. The kind of attitude that just ruins a good morning if you know what I mean. Why act like that when the customer has done no harm to you or spoken to you in any sort of way. As a worker in the same industry I'm very well versed on customer service and her manner of speaking was unacceptable. I've always driven by Martin's and wonder what kind of drive through place it is. I've never heard of it! I was curious since you will see the drive through line from Jimmy Carter Blvd. One morning before going to work, I decided to head to Martin's to get breakfast since I read on Yelp that a lot of people like the sausage and chicken biscuits. Therefore, I got one of each. The drive through line wasn't long at all. A few Yelpers say that Martin's chicken biscuit tasted better than Chick-Fil-A. I took a bite. Although it is good, CFA is still better IMO. The sausage biscuit is delicious! The biscuits are huge! Later, I went back online to look at the menu and they didn't ask me if I wanted small or large either. They default gave me large. Regardless, I am glad I tried.
