Getting the double cheeseburger combo is such a great deal for around $15 you will be FULL with fries and a drink. If you aren't a fan of lettuce tomatoes pickles, I recommend getting the double swiss shroom dijon burger which has caramelized onions and mushrooms. Their fries are also super fresh, hand cut, and delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of their poutine because it was super watery. Same with their chili, the flavor kind of reminded me of canned food. Ive tried their chili dogs on multiple occasions and felt the same each time. Very generic I would skip the hotdogs. Staff there is super friendly and if you sit outside they will bring the food out to you. Overall, very solid burger joint.

We have been to Marty's many times. It's a Fort Lee staple if you have not gone yet. Ranging from combo meals to single ones as a standalone. You can enter from inside the building or outside entrance. Burgers are always fresh. Fries are cut from directly from the potato. Always so good.

Came here during lunch, my friend suggested this spot and I been eyeing this place for a while. I have heard only good things about this place so was looking forward to it. Placed a to go order of the double cheeseburger combo ($15.99) with smoked bacon ($1.50). The burger was really juicy and tasty. It had an interesting sauce, their house sauce, can't pinpoint exactly what it is but it went well with the burger. I was really stuff after that meal. If you're in the mood for a burger, I would recommend this spot.

This was my second time ordering from Marty's. I have eaten a lot of burgers, and I can say that Marty's is one of my favorites. Their burgers are consistently of high quality and have fresh ingredients. I initially tried their classic single burger without the cheese, but chose "The BBQ" burger this time. It was absolutely delicious! The onions and bacon were perfectly crisp, the jalapeños added a subtle spiciness, and the smoke sauce brought it all together. Also, this is one of the few selections that allows a substitution of vegan cheese. I don't tolerate dairy, so this is ideal. The only disappointment was the fries. They were ok the first time, but a bit over-done this time. Their flavor was also lacking a bit. Perhaps the seasoned versions taste better.

I used to loveee Marty's burgers. They've become a bit less consistent with the flavors in the past two years or so. I wouldve given a 5 star rating 3 years ago because the burgers tasted deliciouss before. Now the burgers are good but it hasn't really stood out to me much recently. Appearance wise it's beautiful though, nice packaging and the inside of the shop is nice as well. There's some seating and a bathroom inside. Service is nice as well. I've tried around 5 different burgers, fries & their chicken sandwich from here. Overall, I'd rate the food a 7.2/10

Grabbed a burger from Marty's for a late dinner on a weeknight. It's a small quick service restaurant, where you order at the register and pick it up at the counter. There aren't many tables, so I think it's mostly for takeout. The menu is short. They have burgers, chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and fries. They also have various toppings that can go on any of their sandwiches. I ordered a double cheeseburger and fries, and they soon called me up. The burger I got looked great. The veggies were surprisingly fresh and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato was crispy and sweet, while the pickles were crunchy and tart. There were also chopped onions on the burger. The patties were smashed, but still very juicy, with the cheese well melted. The burger actually looked better than advertised! The fries were made from fresh cut potatoes, and they definitely tasted like it. The burger is almost perfect. My only complaint is that the burger was too soft. The meat was flavorful, but it was so soft you could probably get away with not chewing. I would have liked a little more texture and bite in the beef patty. The only things in the burger that weren't very soft were the crunchy pickles and slightly crisp lettuce and tomato. Prices are actually really good. Their double cheeseburger combo is currently only $12.50, whereas a Baconator combo at Wendy's currently sets you back $11.99. I would definitely recommend Marty's to anyone looking for a good burger.

Have really enjoyed my food from Marty's in the past, and it's a good thing, because if today was my first time dining, I might not go back! I waited to order while a family of 5 in front of me had questions about everything on the menu and then had to customize everything in their order! Not the restaurant's fault! After waiting 5 minutes for the family to be done ordering it's my turn. Now the cashier has to replace the receipt tape and then reprint the family's large order, twice. I'm ready to pass out! Finally, I get to order my spicy chicken combo. It was relatively busy, but my food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. I'm dining in, and it's a good thing because my fries were at best warm, and would have been stone cold had I taken my order to go. I don't know how fries can be warm and limp when the restaurant is busy. My spicy chicken sandwich was a bit sloppily made and undercooked! It wasn't raw and I didn't get sick from it, but it definitely could have used another minute or two in the fryer. There were 3 workers behind the counter. One fellow who seemed unhappy and two space cadets, who were pleasant. Had this been my first visit, I don't know that I would return, but I'll put this meal down as an off day and I'll be back hoping for a great meal as in the past.

Been wanting to try Marty's for a while and recently got the chance to do so. We stopped by on a Friday at around 6:15, and there were some people dining in but most seemed to be getting food to go. Since we wanted to try both the burger and the chicken, we got a combo of each. The Cheeseburger + Original Fries + Soda Can and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich + Original Fries + Soda Can. It's a pretty good deal if you compare it to similar burger/chicken spots, or even Shake Shack. Plus, the sandwiches are bigger here. Hubby and I each went halfsies on the two. I enjoyed both, thought I can't remember now which one I liked more (but it's usually the burger in these situations). Fries are okay. I could probably skip these next time and just go for a Double. We ended up getting the banana pudding for dessert, and that was pretty good as well. It seems like a sleeper hit since people probably tend to get a shake with their burger + fries, but definitely check it out! Tip - there's no free parking, but there is a municipal parking lot that's pretty big

WoW! Talk about a burger spot that will rock your socks off! Fesh-made to order burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, and hand cut French fries are the show stoppers here. And, they do milkshakes! First, if you're a French fries kinda person the fresh cut fries here will satisfy your palate. You can taste the freshness, and crispness. I chose the Old Bay, because I like dry seasoning that gives it a punch. This did the trick. Second, the crispy-crunchy fried spicy chicken sandwich was the bomb! It appears that they use their own batter to coat their chicken. Can't beat a homemade fried chicken sandwich with lots of flavor and texture. Extremely mouth watering experience. Finally, the burgers here were just money! They use a fresh patty cooked on a flattop stove. Even though I'm a big advocate of "grilled meat", this technique is actually great due to the spices used to flavor the meat. It holds better, and brings out the juiciness of the meat vs overcooking on the grill. You can build your own burger, or choose one of their specialty editions. Either way you go, it will leave you wanting more! I chose a single, and kinda regretted not going for the double. They build a very great burger sandwich. The toppings are fresh, and their signature sauce is AMAZING! Not to mention the soft seeded roll is the icing on the cake. FYI: You may miss this location since it sits in a building on a busy road. There is some parking in front, and plenty more parking in the rear of the building... but be warned: PAY THE METERS. The Parking Enforcement in this town are always out and about. read more

We needed Marty's! I have eaten here three times total, and I've been happy with all my experiences. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is kept clean. The food is delicious, quality and quantity both. The price is right. There is metered parking in front of the store. I always get the single cheeseburger and truffle fries. I get so full from the fries, I usually can't finish half of it because they give you a good portion. The burger beef patty they use is good quality and the meat is so juicy. The bun is soft and the toppings inside melts into the bun. I'm happy I live in town and can just drive over in a few minutes if I have a craving. I never get my burger anywhere else. This is a newly set up burger joint in Fort Lee. Friends talked about how good this place is. On a weekday stopped in to grab a to go order. Places small and has simple menu but, reminds me of the traditional American Burger place. Ordered a burger with mushrooms & grilled onions & side of fries. Food waa delicious. I tried the single cheeseburger and truffle parmesan . The burger was flavorful, well seasoned but not too salty. Moreover, it's not just about the burger, but it's also the the soft sesame seed bun . it was perfectly layered with juicy burger, lettuce tomato, pickles. I had the sauce on the side but didn't have to use it. The truffle parmesan fries tasted a lot better than old plain fries. I rewarmed my fries in the air fryer for 4 minutes and was hot and crispy! read more

Hot new spot. Would definitely recommend checking out. Burger malt shop where Batten Ramen resided. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich combo. Staff was nice, location was a bit funny, it still gave off ramen store vibes, but it's cute. What I liked: Spicy Chicken sandwich was great tasting and great price. Fries were good too. Did not try their shake yet though. The chicken sandwich here is really good, was suggested by a friend, so it's not just me! The cons: I heard their burgers aren't that great. While their chicken sandwich is bomb, if you also just look at the other reviews, there aren't many talking about their burgers. It has burger in its name. I recently made plans to stop by the iPic in Fort Lee and knew I needed to stop by Marty's while I was in the area. My group and I went around 3:30PM on a Saturday and thankfully it wasn't packed inside. My boyfriend and I were on the same tab and we decided to order an Impossible Burger, a Double Cheeseburger combo w/ Cheese Fries and a side of Salt & Vinegar fries w/ a side of cheese. Luckily, there was seating available and our food came out nice & hot within 10-15 minutes. _______ FOOD: -Impossible Burger (American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, house sauce, pickles on a sesame bun) 5/5 -Double Cheeseburger Combo- (2X 4oz premium beef, American cheese, lettuce, onions, tomatoes and pickles on a sesame bun) 5/5 -Cheese Fries 5/5 -Salt & Vinegar fries w/ side of cheese 5/5 _______ My mouth is watering as I type this review because everything was delicious! I loved how the Impossible burger is cooked smashburger style and it was sincerely a solid vegetarian option. The Impossible meat had a nice grill on it and all of the toppings were great on top. The burger is also huge and super filling! The salt & vinegar fries were the perfect side and I highly recommend getting a side of the cheese sauce because it was amazing! My boyfriend also thoroughly enjoyed his meal and is already asking me when we're going to stop by again. Marty's is truly a gem and is offering great burgers, quick service and decent pricing. I love that their menu is simple yet has vegetarian and vegan options. Whenever you are craving a burger, I would encourage you to check out Marty's! Came in today for lunch. We got a spicy chicken sandwich and a double cheeseburger with jalapeños. Also an order of the poutine. I'll start with the one downside. The gravy was good but the cheese was more like a ricotta or cottage than curds. Definitely missing that signature squeak. The fries themselves were very good. The chicken sandwich was good. Freshly made, crunchy and well executed. Personally, I could've used a little more spice. The shining star here was the burger though. Juicy patties, nice squishy seeded bun, lettuce, tomato, pickles. And the jalapeños added a tiny bit of heat and nice freshness to the burger. This is a place we will be sure to revisit. Marty's has just about mastered the burger. It combines the guilty pleasure/comfort of a fast food burger and the complexity and wholesome feel of a gourmet burger. As "pricey" as ~$10 for a burger may be, this was totally worth it (we tried the double cheeseburger, bbq, bacon avocado, and swiss shroom dijon). Unfortunately, I'll have to dock a star for their fries. We got 3 orders of fries - original, old bay, and disco (poutine). The fries were on the burnt side, giving them all a slight bitter flavor. The poutine was unfortunately rather underwhelming as well - in fact, when combined with the bitter fries, it tasted extremely bland in comparison. Nevertheless, I'll certainly be returning for their burgers, but will be sure to grab an order of fries from McDonalds on the way. read more

Update 9-29-21 As though I didn't love the burgers enough - the chocolate shakes are and the straws are eco friendly too. Felt like a burger and tried this place out based on the reviews. I got a single cheeseburger and fries and the delivery arrived quickly from Fort Lee. Totally hit the spot. Will order from here again. read more

Marty's hot chicken sandwiches used to be super duper popular when it first opened. They used to make the most tender, crispy, and juicy sandwiches in town but it looks like they've retired from their original recipe. It made me so sad to see my chicken sandwich only occupied by crispy batter and little to no chicken. The chicken thickness was almost comparable to a McChicken. The spicy chicken sandwich is everything! First of all they stayed open after hours just so we can enjoy the chicken sandwiches as they were hot and fresh. The quality of the chicken was 5 stars, super crispy, with pickles. I rarely order hotdogs but they make an old fashion beef frank with relish and onions. Overall great spot! read more

Went to Marty's last night 9/20 after not being there for over a year. What a disappointment- we ordered two cheeseburgers and two fries. Cheeseburgers were good , not as delicious as they used to be and the fries were awful. Limp, soggy, barely cooked. We had to heat them up in our air fryer, just to make them passable. Not worth the price for qty you receive also. Service was quick. Maybe it was just an off night but not sure I'll be going back. read more

Their fries are supposed to be the best but the last few times, they've been a bit soggy and not freshly made imo even for dine in. My one friend had been talking up this spot called Marty's for quite sometime and she sent me a picture of the fried chicken sandwich which really sealed the deal on where I was getting dinner that night. What I ordered: (2) Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwiched ( one no pickle) (1) Truffle Parmesan Fry (1) Cheese Fries ( cheese on the side) (2) Vanilla Milkshakes Let's start off by stating that this was a delivered order off of uber eats. My food arrived hot and fresh which always makes me happy. The smell of the truffle fries was the first thing that hit me while opening the bag. If you know me you know I'm a big truffle girl the more the merrier. The fries were perfectly crisp and seasoned just rite. The cheese fries were also fried to perfection but the cheese sauce didn't heat up too well in the microwave when I went to pour it over my fries. Maybe stick with eating those there or picking it up yourself to not allow the cheese to set up. The chicken sandwich looked glorious. The chicken was thickly coated with this delicious crunchy batter that I sweat I resembled the heart eye emoji. The bun was buttery and delicious with a slight toast to it, the house sauce was very tasty and added a great flavor to the sandwich. My only complaint is that I felt the piece of chicken was a bit small and I wasn't aware that it was only dark meat. Just ordered this bullsh*t burger from martys before it closed for the day and I ate undercooked meat. Literally my food was done in 3 mins. Idk who cooked this burger but who ever did it needs to be fired. Every single time I order food from martys in fort lee, there's always a problem with my order. Instead of crew being in a rush to leave early they should of cooked my food properly and payed close attention. I payed almost 13 dollars for an undercooked burger that I might have food poisoning in the morning. I don't recommend this spot to no one unless you willing to rush to the hospital. There customer service skill is ok but the food quality is terrifying. Not only that the burger might potentially have bacteria but I might have food poisoning and bad stomach problems. Never eating here again. Might as well go to burger King or McDonald's to get a better meal quality in my opinion. I wouldn't even give this a star for how many times my food came out messed up. Prices are good, and the quality is fresh. I went with the salt and vinegar fries and that sour salty crunch is addicting. I love that the burger contains sauce, relish, on top of the already fresh lettuce, onion, and tomato. My only qualm with this place is that the patties were salty, so I'll just tell them to go easy on the salt next time. I'm just happy to have a burger place close to home that's real and not fast food. read more

Marty's has hands down the BEST burgers AND fried chicken sandwich in Bergen County. Unfortunately, I had very upsetting experience tonight. Their 3 young employees in the front were goofing around, on their cell phones, and chatting nonstop. That's fine and all, but they were UNABLE to get my order together. I waited some 30 minutes thinking that maybe they're in a Sunday dinner rush. People were waiting to pick up their food. But I had ordered mine there in person. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked the girl about my order. She forgot my name (which is fine), had already wrongfully taken my order receipt off the line, and found it in the punched receipt stack. I never got my food. HOW HARD IS YOUR JOB? This is not a judgment on the high quality of food they make at Marty's. This is just a bad remark on the irresponsible young staff they hire. The manager saw what happened, finally gave us our food with a complimentary banana pudding, and apologized. I refrained from causing a scene, but it would've been nice if these 3 employees took ownership of failing to do a simple job. None of them apologized. None of them spoke a word to me. For me, a die hard Shack Shack lover, extra thick burger and juicy (the liquified fat i guess), this is not a match. But for a normal burger with high quality beef, and very fresh garnish, this place is tops. If that is not enough, a delivery of whole potatoes arrived while we were eating; obviously they make their fries fresh on site! Geared for takeout, seating is sparse, but worth buying a burger here, and the chicken is excellent as well. read more

Honestly this place is ridiculous. Such good burgers! Ordered twice from this place and both times were excellent! Burger patties were full flavored without being excessively greasy. Toppings were fresh and they accommodated all the special instructions graciously. The ratio on buns and toppings were also solid as well! I figured let's try this place since all the good reviews. From other people and from the Fort Lee group I am part of. It was very disappointing to me. (5/5 stars) Eggplant in garlic sauce - delicious, was cooked very well, a perfect balance of spices and texture. (6/5 stars ** it was very very good ) Roast pork fried rice - SO SO good as is a staple of most Chinese places I think. (4.5/5) Shrimp pan fried noodles - I'm allergic to seafood so I didn't have it but it was good (4/5) OF COURSE THE SOUP DUMPLINGS: I'll give the soup dumplings a 4/5 they were good, I haven't had any in Jersey I usually go to NY for soup dumplings so I think it's pretty good for here. I think the service was very good, they were very kind, very attentive, now that could be because we ordered half the menu idk - but *I*** think it's SUCH a great place where you really get a bang for your buck. I also want to say the portion sizes are LARGE we definitely ended up taking things to go just because we didn't expect to order so much and for the portions to be so large. I think I may have forgotten another dish or two but overall the food is really really good. Only qualm really was just the size of the restaurant (which they can't really help) wasn't too big. The ambiance was very nice - though I think my party was unfortunately a bit more boisterous than the rest of the people around, it's family friendly so any one of all ages can come and enjoy something. Saw plenty of parents with strollers, elderly people, and everyone in between like my group. It's pretty good vibes. Big portions, great food, good people, good vibes! I have to come back here sometime! I usually go to Fort Lee for Korean food but I think I've found a new place to hit up when I'm in town. Lovely lovely place!
