I had a consultation with Lucy a couple of weeks prior my appointment and we schedule a day. I had text her the picture of what I wanted to get done after my hair consultation and prior my appointment. She said no problem and on the day of my appointment, she started the process. In the picture, I showed that I want more of a balayage that starts dark and gets lighter at the bottom. She decided to do my whole hair blonde and when I addressed that it was not like the picture, she tries to justify her mistake by saying that the picture I showed her was last years fashion and that it's not in anymore. Lucy tried showing me a different picture and tried to convince me to like it because it was similar to the hair she did. I told her that I wanted what I showed her and that I didn't care it was last years fashion. She was upset and continued to style my hair without a brush. She does not own a brush and I had to get a hair brush from my car to let her borrow it. She also didn't have a cape and some of the bleach got on my clothes. When she washed my hair, she waterboard me and water splashed all over my clothes. I felt really cold since she used freezing cold water on me. As she was washing my hair, she accidentally poured a waterfall down my back and my shirt was completely soaked. Since I expressed that the picture was darker on top, she panicked and put almost black hair on top of my hair and now there is a harsh line that goes all around my hair. As she was doing my hair, she said that if she knew I was going to be this picky, she would have said no to doing my hair. This lady really thought that I was just going to sit there and let her do whatever she wanted with my hair and walk away happy even though it wasn't what I wanted. I am horrified with my hair and she charged me $300. I was there for 9.5 hours. I ended up paying but I really wish she had the decency to charge me less since it was her mistake. I understand that it's a process to make my ends that light but she did not even tell me beforehand that my hair was going to look different. I am horrified with my hair and now it's so damaged, my hair stretches when it's wet. I've been crying all day. Please don't go here. She's a nice lady but it's not worth your misery, time, and money.
