Stephanie Odom, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making exploring styles and trying on dresses for the first time in my life such a positive and joyful experience. My mom and I went into the store on a Monday and you were so welcoming. We tried on dresses in several styles so I could get a feel for what I liked. Quite incredibly several were contenders (disclaimer, actual dress I said yes to not pictured). Leaving Monday I felt super optimistic and we planned to come back to work with you on Thursday with my mom, future mother in love and friends. I went home Monday and proceeded to look on your website and took pictures of additional gowns I wanted to try on for Thursday. Fast forward Thursday, you had SEVERAL of those new dresses already pulled aside. You listened, observed and knew where my mind was going on style and fit. Above and beyond to come in and that you'd already prepared some other options. Wild to say but all the incredible selections I tried on, on Monday were compounded by 3 additional top contenders on Thursday when I said "yes to the dress". The turnaround time for our wedding is less than 6 months. I value Stephanie's intentionality as we explored my options and trying on things that were either in stock or could be made in time or rush made in time. Expectations were set so I wasn't put in a position where I was trying on dresses that realistically wouldn't be avaliable. SO THANK YOU! My friend (the bride) selected this place and we all had such a great experience here! The staff were so friendly and we felt very welcomed. We were allowed to walk around the showroom and view/select the dresses, and our consultant Stephanie pulled the dresses. Stephanie also looked at inspo pictures that my friend had on her phone, and selected some dresses for her based on what she was looking for. The prices seemed pretty reasonable; I think the dresses we personally looked at were around $1500-$2800. There was also a large selection and variety of dresses, so I feel like they have something for everyone. I was really impressed with how spacious and comfortable the seating area was. Around the pedestal where the brides stand on, there is plenty of room to walk around to scrutinize the dress and take pictures! But honestly, what made this visit so memorable was just how personable, friendly, and funny Stephanie was. She was so helpful with assisting my friend into the different dresses and she brought out different veils and accessories for my friend to try on with the dresses to complete the look. She was so supportive throughout the entire session and I cannot sing her praises enough. I was BAMBOOZLED! Karen, my consultant, was good about choosing dresses that would flatter my body size and shape. HOWEVER, she made a mistake that cost me a lot of distress. She put me in a dress that was altered and NEVER communicated this fact when I had it on and fell in love with it. My Matron of Honor was with me and witnessed this fact NEVER being communicated. We were the only people in the shop and we are both meticulous people, due to our careers; this important piece of info would have been noted. She asked me if there was anything I would want to change/alter and I said no, it's perfect. She measured me and walked me to the couch to wait as she walked over to the computer to order the dress in my size, again never communicating that the dress I tried on was altered in the midsection. It had paneling to cover the sheer part. Again, I would have noted the dress I tried on as altered from the original design because I tried on other dresses with similar sheer, upper mid sections and disliked them for that fact. Dress was ordered and when it came in, I tried it on. I noticed it looked and felt different. I was nearly swimming in the midsection and the cups for my breasts seemed smaller and more revealing. When I pointed this out to the consultant, a different one from my try on experience, she said it was ordered a lot bigger (almost 2 sizes) because of my height and it will look better when I get it taken in and altered to my measurements. Granted, she didn't know, as well as I and my MOH, that the dress I tried on months before was an altered version. Fast forward to needing to get it altered by my person- after it being pulled in at my waist and giving my shape, I did not like how I looked or felt in the midsection, Not sure why I felt weird in it. I went back to my original try on experience pictures and I noticed they were different dresses! I thought the wrong dress was ordered but then my MOH called and explained what happened, they pulled up the order and said it was the correct dress ordered, and after going back and forth, my MOH discovered I tried on an altered dress. They were calm on the phone but were not sympathetic at all. It's not so much about the error itself, it's about how one reacts from it being pointed out and how to make it right for the customer. That is where Mary Me Bridal went wrong. I didn't oversee Karen doing her job because I am the customer, not her supervisor, she directed me to sit on the couch while she did the ordering. No acknowledgement of the error. No compassion. It kept being pushed that the consultant would have mentioned it needed the paneling alteration and my MOH kept responding with "we weren't told that, we would have noted that fact when deciding and purchasing the dress". They kept saying the same thing, that I could contact their 3rd party alterations person to set up an appointment, at which we would have no time for the dress to be ready by my wedding date. Nothing was offered as any sort of compensation for THEIR error and my distress. Why was/is an altered dress on the floor to begin with?? In other industries, altered details are shared before the customer buys the product. If you made it this far, and you still choose to try this place out, make sure you are super inquisitive and ask if the dress you are trying on is the original design, record if necessary. When the consultant tells you to relax and sit on the couch while they handle it, Don't! Go with them and compare the sample dress you tried on and ask to see the picture on the screen and make sure it lines up. Take your time to make sure they are doing their job correctly because once you sign the form you have to sign, you can't return. Then ask for 10% off for supervising them to make sure they do their job and don't make a costly, emotional error, greatly impacting you. Susan helped handle my wedding shopping experience. I was recommended Mary Me by a friend from my church who had brought her dress from here. At minimum, you should we willing to pay $1000-1500. My budget was closer to $700-800 and Susan helped me find some dresses that were within my budget. 1. First Bridal Appointment: Bought 2 friends with me. I pulled some dresses from the showroom and Susan did also. We tried on the dresses and Susan helped me pose and take pictures in the dresses I liked so I could have them for the future while I was making my decision. After each dress, Susan would help me process what I liked and what I didn't like on dresses and helped me eliminate options I didn't love. If you are an indecisive person, Susan will definitely help guide you in making decisions! 2. Second Bridal Appointment: Tried on the dress I was thinking about buying. Tried on a few more dresses. Ended up buying a dress that day. BROWNIE POINTS STORY: The dress I wanted to buy was closer to $1200 (pretax). My max budget was $1000. I communicated that with Susan. She accommodated my budget and sold me the dress at $1000 (pre-tax). ALSO, she threw in a free dry cleaning of my dress for when I would pick it up. ALSO, I received a free gift with my purchase. I picked a free pair of earrings 3. Pick-up Appointment: Susan helped me try on the dress one more time. By the end of this process, I felt so so close to Susan. I was super grateful for all of her tips and tricks she gave me throughout the process. They have a seamstress they recommend to the brides. Maria works very quickly. She also speaks English/Spanish. First, I definitely recommend this bridal boutique for any bride looking for a wedding dress! Really elaborate collection with plenty in the $1500-$2000 budget and many different beautiful styles. I made an appointment to look at dresses with my mom, sister and her two kids (one of whom is a baby). Tea (our stylist) and the whole boutique were so welcoming, accommodating and helpful with us trying on dresses. Bonus: Tea was also great with the kids. I'm so disappointed with the false information provided to me and my family the day I was trying on wedding dresses for the first time of my life. I tried on the dress I always dreamed of having and I wanted sleeves. Sue promised that the sleeves will be attached to the wedding dress. I then received a text that my dress was ready, and I was so excited to try it on for my fitting. When I arrived, I was greeted by an older later who retrieved my dress. When the dress was brought out, I noticed the sleeves were not attached. I was going to get charged an additional $1300 to put on the sleeves and adjustments. I was completely devastated. My experience became a nightmare. The best they did for me to defuse the situation by discounting $300. Nothing compared to the $1000 that I had to still pay and now stressed. I recommend you have everything in writing and receipts or invoices because they will get you based on my horrible experience. read more

I originally came here looking for my wedding dress for my wedding in November 2023. I had a great stylist who pulled a bunch of different options and styles for me to try but ultimately I just didn't know what I wanted. I had knee jerk said yes to a dress at another store and after leaving, realized I didn't even look anywhere else and in my heart I just knew it wasn't my dress so I came to Marry Me Bridal to take a look at some other options. Although I didn't pick a dress from here, my stylist definitely helped me narrow down what exactly I was looking for in a dress. After my first visit, I ended up leaving empty handed but with a better vision in mind. While I didn't purchase my dress from here, I did end up coming back to look at veil options. I really wanted something long that would frame the train of my dress since my dress train had no accents on it. My mom actually happened to stumble into a room (that technically she wasn't supposed to be in) and asked our stylist if I could try one of the veils in that room. Our stylist was super nice and accommodating and pulled it for me to try as it was available. I absolutely fell in love. I put it on, wearing my normal regular clothes, and my mom and I started crying. It was absolutely stunning. I had just happened to pick up my wedding dress and it was in the car and was able to try on my dress with the veil and it was just the icing on the cake. The whole thing was gorgeous. This was the first bridal store we went to and the experience was nothing like I expected. The staff didn't seem very welcoming at all. Comparing it now to other bridal stores I went to, this place was horrible! We were never offered drinks, let alone a water bottle. The other shop I went to went above and beyond. They offered us water, soda, and even champagne. We found a dress we really liked and decided it was the one. The lady helping us took the dress to the front so we could fill out paperwork and put down a deposit. Not once did they take a picture with the sign " I said Yes". I thought because we said yes and were ready to purchase they would celebrate us, but that was not the case. My gut was telling me this was nooooo, so as we were about to pay we pulled out last minute. I also noticed all the staff and including the girl helping us just stayed huddled up by reception just chit chatting. Overall, our experience here was probably 1/10. read more

I shopped at this bridal boutique a few months ago as one of the first places I tried on dresses. I did not read any reviews of this place prior to booking an appointment which was a major mistake. I hope this shop reads these Yelp reviews and takes this constructive criticism to heart because they desperately need to work on their customer service. Not only does this place have a record of bad reviews from other brides on here but 2 of my good friends had negative things to say about this boutique as well (which they told me after the fact to not ruin my experience). Clearly this place has some issues. I'll start by saying that I gave this place 2 stars because despite their rudeness and making me feel uncomfortable, they had a good selection of nice dresses. The stylist that helped me (Karen) was very competent in her knowledge of fabrics and wedding dress types which was helpful. She clearly knew her stuff so I want to give her credit for that. However, the biggest issue that I had with this place was the way my guests and I were treated. My stylist completely sucked all the fun right out of the experience by being rude to my mom and friends. She also ignored all of the dresses that my friends and I picked out to try on. This seemed to be because I mentioned that it was my first bridal shopping experience and that my ideal budget was on the lower end of what their dresses cost. Although, I mentioned several times during the appointment that I would be very willing to bend on my budget if I found a gorgeous dress that I loved. If this stylist had good basic sales skills, she would have let me try on a few dresses that I liked that were outside my budget so I'd be likely to spend more. However, the mentality at this shop appears to be that unless you come in prepared to drop 3k or more on a dress right away, then they have absolutely no time for you. I would expect this from a bridal shop in Newport or Laguna beach but not from one located on Chapman avenue in Orange. My stylist seemed to just completely ignore the requests and feedback of my family and friends. All of the dresses I tried on were her selections except for one. Some of them had the components that I asked for but many others did not. The last dress I tried on ended up being my favorite but my mom had picked it out. When the stylist assisted me with trying on the dress, she made a snide comment about the price of it which I didn't appreciate. I had told her my "ideal budget" for a dress but I could have very easily afforded a more expensive one if I really wanted to. The arrogance and amount of passive aggressive comments we endured was just astounding. I left the appointment feeling awkward and confused about why we were treated so poorly. It was definitely not what I had envisioned for my first wedding dress shopping experience. I booked another appointment at a different bridal shop in Orange a few weeks later and the difference in customer service was night and day. The staff at this other shop were nothing but kind and patient with my guests and I. I ended up buying my dress from this other shop. There were 2 dresses at Mary Me Bridal that I really loved and considered going back to look at again but I was greatly discouraged by even just the simple thought of dealing with their staff again. I hope they realize that they're pushing potential customers away by acting this way. After visiting two well known bridal suites in the OC area, Mary Me Bridal was such a breath of fresh area. It has been 8 months since I first visited and I remember being blown away by the first look of the dresses displayed and then by the service that we received. The dresses looked so genuinely made (not with cheap fabric or sewing materials), elegant (yet reasonably priced) and unique. I found my dress after trying 3 on, and once shipped, it arrived earlier than the ship date! The people there are kind, pleasant to work with and understanding (they answered SO many of my mom's questions!!). I recommend asking Karen to be your stylist! She is really kind and knows how to style a bride! I actually went with her suggested dress :) Since I am very tall (6.1 feet tall), there was a concern that my dress would not touch the ground. They gave the suggestion to add more lace, and they gave me a long piece from the back. When that didn't work, one of the stylists said that when I come back next week, she would give me a piece from her home that she had! She kept her promise, and the tailor (that they recommend) was able to sew it on for me. I just love my dress so much! read more

I had THE most amazing experience with Mary Me Bridal! Stephanie was fantastic and communicated with me over text and email the days leading up to my appointment to make sure we had a couple of dresses I liked to try on right when I walked in the door. She was mindful of my vision and my budget and made informed suggestions to stretch the styles I thought I would like. I walked in sure that I was not going to buy a dress and just look, but the dress I walked out with was absolutely perfect and nothing like I thought I wanted. I can't say enough positive and amazing things about my experience at Mary Me Bridal! I came here at the suggestion of a friend as I was on the journey to find my wedding dress. During my first visit (after having appointments at a few other places) I immediately felt welcomed and at ease. Stephanie is definitely the BEST sales associate I have ever had! She was so friendly, welcoming, and was focused on making me feel comfortable. As an "older" bride (it is true, I own it) she made the experience great. When I came with my whole group, she was the best. She helped me stay calm and was a great hype person. She advocated and interacted with my friends and family, which was fantastic. In the end I picked an amazing dress and could not have done it without her help! All of the staff was wonderful and made me have the best experience doing something that can be very overwhelming! If I could give negative stars I would. Ladies stay away from Mary Me Bridal. They are so unprofessional. I ordered my veil on July of 2024 for my wedding in May of 2025. They ordered the wrong veil and tried to blame the designer. I looked up the style number and it was not the same veil I payed for. They gave me the run around whenever I would inquire about the delivery date. The manager was always "on break" when I called. Today is April 30, 2025 and I still don't have my veil. I had a really negative experience at this boutique. I met with my bridal stylist and informed her of the style of dress I wanted. She returned with multiple dresses, none of which had the elements I had asked for. I tried on one dress and disliked it. She asked me to try on another but I politely declined and said I didn't like the ones she had selected. (I didn't want to waste her time). She then proceeded to grab all of the dresses and stormed out stating, "Let me go get my manager to SEE if we can find you a dress." Even my bridal party asked if everything was okay because they noticed how upset she looked as she walked away. She and the manager returned with some dresses but they all missed the mark. When all was said and done I was only at the appointment for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. I then I had an appointment at David's bridal about an hour later. I was waiting in line when I heard a bride in front me talking to a Davids bridal stylist about what a negative experience she had had at a previous boutique. I instantly recognized her because she had been at Mary Me Bridal when I was there, except she was being helped by another stylist. She looked at me and shared her negative experience as well. We both couldn't believe how we had the same experience and both ended up at David's bridal! She purchased her dress there and I got mine at another boutique but we both shared the same negative experience at Mary Me. I would rate Mary Me one star but am rating it two stars because they had such a beautiful selection of dresses. I wish I could have tried on ones that I had seen and liked. However the staff seemed bothered when I or my bridal party would look at dresses. Think twice before coming here! read more

I had a great experience here with Tya! When first walking in, they greeted you with big smiles. I didn't have to wait around, they immediate led us to the area we'd been assigned to. I came in kind of late on a week night so I was the only bride there which was kind of nice. I tried on a lot of dresses, one of which I loved! Ultimately I ended up finding "the dress" elsewhere, but I was going to come back here for the dress I loved before finding my dress. Tya was so sweet & so helpful picking out dresses for me & narrowing down what I was gravitating towards. She was also a blast to chat with through this process & made me feel super comfortable. I got engaged of August of last year and we started the wedding dress search at the start of the new year. After asking for a variety of recommendations amongst my community, we came upon Mary Me Bridal. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience here. Upon arrival we were greeted by a relatively friendly girl. They asked me to verify some information (name, email, dress style, ideal budget etc.) and walk around. We searched around for the restrooms of which were detached from the building and were crazy dirty and smelly. We came back inside and waited to be called Susan greeted us and asked about my dress experience thus far. I explained to her my wedding was in October and I had only tried on a few dresses. She asked me over and over and kept saying "I mean how many in total" when I literally had only been to one other place. We showed her a variety of styles I liked and what I was generally looking for. My group and I started walking around and picked out a few things. The dresses were all pretty scrunched on the racks and kind of hard to see without taking them off the rack. Not a huge deal. What really upset me was there were some dresses I picked out that Susan recommended I didn't try on due to being "over budget." There is a major difference between an "ideal budget" and what "can or cannot be spent." If I wanted to try it on; I should have been able to try it on. From this point on I kind of just felt like I was a number and dealing with someone to essentially only cared about sales. We picked out a few things and took them into the room. The room had dingy carpet and was pretty dark. I expected to have studio lighting and a bright space to see these dresses. I was super disappointed the room was so dark. She also wanted me to keep my bra off for trying on the dresses; which I thought was a tad strange. There were a few dresses I really did like from this place. Susan kept asking me how it compared to the other dresses I saw. In all honesty they were pretty close. She seemed to demand an answer with these dresses and I told her I wanted to keep it on a "maybe" list in my head and on an information card should I have decided on one of the dresses as I was not done looking. She kept asking "why" [would I do that] if I liked another one more. I also very much felt like she was off point. I am very much a less is more, no glitter, no sparkles, not too much glam type of person. She kept bringing me dresses that were Vegas show girl type dresses. Additionally, my godmother requested we had a pedestal brought out much like the other girls were using for their dresses. She said she didn't do that because it provided an unrealistic image of how I would look on my wedding day (meaning she thought I would not be that tall, no matter what shoes I picked). My godmother really only wanted to see the dress in its entirety. It had nothing to do with how I would look on my wedding day. We ended up having to use a different pedestal from another girls section when it was not in use. We ended up leaving our appointment early since we felt unwelcome and the customer service heavily lacked. Words cannot express how grateful i am for the experience i was given here. I am extremely impressed with Susan and her knowledge and her ability to make one feel so comfortable. Once we arrived, we were greeted and welcomed by Susan. She led us to where we'd sit and before starting, she asked me what my budget was, which I believe was important because if one has a budget, it's crucial they stick by it so one doesn't get excited about a dress and they can't afford it because it's passed their budget. She was so patient with me and never EVER pushed me to make a decision. She was great with reading my facial expressions and KNEW when i had found my dress. She made me and my mom feel very comfortable, she pulled amazing dresses after seeing what i pulled for myself and she really listened to my vision and what i wanted and she found me my perfect dress!
