These 5 stars are because of Erin, she is truly amazing. I'm not sure if you can request specific staff for Bridal Appointments (dress shopping), but if you do, I'll recommend Erin forever! I brought my mom and best friend. We all sat down and she asked what I want to look and feel like in my dress, if I have an idea of what I want (shape, fabric, color, etc), if I've tried any dresses on already, and my price range. We got to browse and point out any dresses for Erin to pull while she went all around pulling any dress she thought I might like. Erin clipped me in so well that I didn't have to tug and adjust the dress while seeing how I liked it. For each dress I got to walk out to the pedestal and check myself out in the mirror and lighting. For each dress, she asked how I felt in it, what I liked, what I didn't like, what I would change... and this all helped her narrow down which dresses to try on or others to grab to add to the list. I got to try different veils (which I didn't know I wanted and it totally completed the look, so now I'm getting a veil) and even go to different lighting to see what natural lighting would look like on the sparkles too. When I found the dress, I got to participate in the Mon Amie tradition of making a wish for myself, my fiancé, and my marriage, then ring the bell and celebrate! Measurements were taken and a detailed contract was written up with pricing and a quote for alterations. Parking was easy & there is a bathroom in the back! I feel conflicted writing this because my initial bridal appointment in September 2025 was amazing. My stylist, Erin, was warm, attentive, and really understood my vision. She even pulled dresses I wouldn't have chosen myself, one of which became my dress. The hospitality, including sparkling wine and a beautiful try-on space, made it a truly special experience. Unfortunately, my presentation appointment this past weekend was very different. I invited my maid of honor and future mother-in-law since it was just my mom and I during my initial dress shopping appointment. I expected a similar, celebratory moment, but it felt more like a quick errand. We were placed in a small back room, the appointment felt rushed, and there was little of the hospitality I experienced before. The biggest issue was trying on my dress. It didn't fit, which was stressful and disappointing, but obviously no one's fault. That said, I wish the staff had taken a more discreet and thoughtful approach, like adjusting or clipping the dress before bringing my guests in. Instead, my guests were brought in while the dress was visibly unfastened, and the conversation focused on fit issues. I was also asked about my weight in front of everyone, which felt uncomfortable and could have been handled more privately. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially compared to such a strong first impression. I still love my dress and hope this was just a one-off, and that the alterations process will be more positive. I'd just recommend managing expectations and not treating the presentation appointment as a special occasion for guests. read more

I want to preface that I bought my wedding dress from here and had a wonderful experience! Zandria was A DREAM and so amazing to work with. The issue I had was with my veil...Back in July I ordered a veil through while at my wedding dress fitting in the Mon Amie Salon. I paid for the veil in store and was told that the veil would be shipped to the store by the first week of September "at the latest" and they would call me once the veil arrives. (Keep in mind- my wedding is October 2nd. I thought this would be plenty of time). September 21st comes around and I still have not received any notice regarding my veil being delivered/delayed. I called the store and was told that my order is "flagged for priority" and the veil had shipped, and would be arriving "any day". I can assure you that I was SO stressed. No one could give me an estimated day of arrival. Thank goodness I'm getting married locally and could pick up the veil whenever...if I needed the veil earlier for travel I'm not sure what I would've done! :( On September 27th (5 days before I get married) I call the store around 2pm. The store had been open since 11:30am. The receptionist on the phone tells me that my veil was delivered that morning. No one had notified me even though I was "flagged for priority". I left an hour after getting off the phone with the salon receptionist to go pick up the veil. When I walked into the store the receptionist asked me if I had an appointment. I explained that I do not have an appointment as this was the only opportunity I had to pick up my veil. The receptionist made me feel very small. I had to stand there while she explained to me that the veil might not even be in the store and I needed to have an appointment...AFTER I had been told it had been delivered on the phone. I let her know I'm getting married in a few days, I already paid, and I did not need to try it on. I just wanted to pick up the veil and leave. She finally got up from behind the desk and looked for my veil. She brought it to me, I signed for it, and left. Hallelujah it arrived on time! I really am disappointed about the entire experience. Just want to forewarn all brides out there that are shopping and have a deadline for travel! Make sure to communicate thoroughly with the Mon Amie team before you order. read more

I wanted to love this bridal boutique, however my experience was sub par. I showed the stylist multiple photos of styles I liked and explained what I was looking for but she really didn't hear what I was saying . I was there for almost 2 hrs and in my opinion it was a waste of time. I mentioned was I was looking for and she continued to bring styles that were not what I was asking for. Then she would say you can add straps, etc and didn't properly pin them on the dress. The straps were falling off and she only added one at a time. The room was sloppy when I walked in, she didn't help me with the dress when I got to the pedestal outside the room, I.e fix the bottom. The sizes available were also an issue. She was putting me in dresses that were way too small and I could not get an idea of what it would look like if it actually fit. Towards the end of the appt she wrote a few dresses on a card and never followed up with me again. Very unprofessional. She talked about herself most of the appointment. It nice she was personable but the focus was to get a dress, not hear her life story. I would not recommend this boutique to anyone. It was most likely the stylist that created this experience so I can't say if others are more professional and actually listen to what the client is looking for. When you're spending thousands on a dress this is not the experience you want to have. read more

This was the most incredible experience for me, and the best bridal appointment I've had. I had Wren as my consultant, and she was the absolute best - she listened, she helped, she was fun and chatty, she made me feel so comfortable, and best of all, she found my yes dress! I'm not the most decisive person and she had me imagine my wedding day from start to finish in my gown ("picture yourself saying your vows, hugging your parents, having your first dance"). Settled with my wedding dress from Mon Amie back in January for a November wedding and was very happy with the dress! The whole process was smooth, during the first fitting I tried on so many dresses. The coordinator pulled many A line dresses with sweet heart neck which was my preferred style around my budget. Dress was ready in June for 1st alteration appt and then October for final take home! I got so many compliments on my dress, train looked beautiful and dress lasted all night. You do not have to pay to book your appointment which is awesome! You can bring 3 guests max. You get paired with a stylist and you get your own room to change and walk out to a platform. Suzy was amazing! She was patient and kind during the process. You are able to browse the dresses before your appointment if you choose. Only feedback I have for the company is.. reusing the robes in the dressing rooms doesn't feel sanitary and the paint chipping and small holes in the walls of the dressing rooms lowers the esthetic. Sorry in advance for the long review, but after the week I've had, I feel like every bride needs to hear this! I'm getting married in three weeks and purchased my original wedding dress exactly one year ago. It was an Ines Di Santo gown, absolutely stunning and truly my dream dress. It was actually the very first dress I tried on - about a month ago, I started alterations with a company in Irvine and unfortunately, it turned into an absolute nightmare. Without getting too far into that story because that is a review for another day lol, my beautiful couture gown was completely botched during alterations and no longer fit correctly. So, with THREE WEEKS until my wedding, I suddenly needed a new wedding dress. I spent the last several days calling and visiting what felt like every bridal salon in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, etc. and I was having such a hard time finding anything that felt like me. I quickly realized there are A LOT of wedding dresses I don't like lol, and after already finding my dream dress once, starting over was incredibly difficult. Add in the fact that I needed something I could actually leave with, and I was starting to panic. So last night, as I was fully crashing out lol, I decided to email every bridal salon I could find in Costa Mesa. I emailed Mon Amie late last night and by 7:30 this morning, I had a response saying they could see me at 10:00 a.m. That was my first sign this experience was going to be different. I was immediately welcomed and introduced to Zandria. I explained my entire situation and she sat down with me and genuinely listened. She asked thoughtful questions about my original dress, what I loved about it, my style, what I felt comfortable in and what I hoped to find. Not once did I feel rushed, pressured or pushed toward a particular style or designer. Then she told me to walk around and look through the dresses myself. This sounds like such a small thing, but after visiting so many bridal salons, I realized how unusual it was. At other stores, stylists selected a handful of gowns for me. Here, I could actually browse their incredible selection and see what caught my eye. And when I say they have options, they have OPTIONS. So many absolutely stunning gowns in every style. Once we started trying things on, Zandria was incredible. She pulled so many options for me. At one point, another stylist was helping her search for dresses and a third was checking in to see if I was having any luck. After the week I'd had, they genuinely felt like my little team of guardian angels trying to save my wedding dress situation. Because I had already had the traditional dress-shopping experience with my mom and friends the first time, I came alone. But watching the other brides with their families and seeing how the stylists interacted with them, you could tell how much they cared about making the experience special. Somehow, they made it feel just as special for me even under completely different circumstances. And then came the craziest part: the very first dress I tried on was the one. AGAIN. It fit almost perfectly. It felt like me. After everything that happened, it genuinely felt like maybe this was how it was supposed to work out. The owner also happened to be there and took the time to talk with me about everything that had happened. When we discussed alterations and seamstress options, everyone was incredibly informative and understanding of why I was nervous. I never felt like they were simply trying to make a sale. It felt like they understood the position I was in and genuinely wanted to help. Somehow, I walked into Mon Amie three weeks before my wedding thinking my dream dress had been ruined and walked out with another dress I absolutely love. Even crazier, it was significantly less expensive than my original gown. I genuinely wish Mon Amie had been the first bridal salon I visited a year ago. The customer service, selection, kindness and entire experience were exceptional. There are SO many gorgeous dresses, but more importantly, there are people here who make you feel genuinely cared for during such a special experience. Please take it from a bride who has now experienced just about every version of wedding dress shopping imaginable lol: make Mon Amie your first stop. And if you can, ask for Zandria. I will forever be grateful to her and everyone at Mon Amie for turning one of the most stressful weeks of my wedding planning into one of the sweetest. read more

Just to start off, My stylist was just wanting to make a commission off of me. She continued to make comments about how my mom was with me and how special that would be if I bought a dress today. I continued to be unsure of my dress option and she continued to push and push. I love the dress but I ended up leaving because of her. I came back the same day and ended up buying the dress no thanks to her. It was only because the dress was the one I wanted but I left because she was so freaking pushy. When I came to pick my dress up several months later, my dress had a pattern on it that the sample did not have. My dress also had ALL the folding lines from it being sent in a box. You would think they would steam a $3,000 wedding gown before being tried on for the first time. I asked if they could find the sample dress so I can make sure I wasn't crazy. The sample dress had no pattern on it. All I asked was for my dress to be steamed but staff told me they didn't do that. Thank god for my seamstress. she and that crew were amazing!!! She ended up steaming my dress for me. I love my dress and the seamstress crew, other than that, I give this place 0 stars. read more

Mon Amie was where I got to say yes to my dress! Their styling team is superb, specifically a shout out to my stylist Erin. From outside, it looks like a small salon. Inside, it is huge and filled with tons of dresses. Every dress you can imagine. They have many great designers. I loved the designer called Moonlight. Erin is obviously very experienced and can easily comprehend the vision that you have. Having someone who can capture the vision in your head is so important. She pulled many dresses for me to try until we picked the most perfect one. Although, I loved almost every dress she picked, 1 was just more perfect than the rest. I went to 4 other bridal stores and didn't have this same experience where I loved nearly every dress the stylist picked. They don't charge an appointment fee which is great. They offer champagne which is a nice touch. All staff is superb. The owner is also super knowledgeable and sweet. They have good relationships with the designers and so it makes for a seamless process, especially if you customize your dress like I did. 5 stars can't wait for my dress to come in. read more

Honestly didn't have the best experience here. I purchased my dress here because only a limited amount of stores that carried this one in California, this was the closest one to me. I felt rushed the entire time and my party didn't get to choose dresses as they thought I should try on because the associate was rushing them whereas other dress stores would've allowed you to try on the dresses your party wants to see you in. Although they limited how many people you may bring, the associate was not nice to my party whatsoever and it wasn't as welcoming as other bridal stores. Although there is a time limit the associate made it very clear that she was trying to rush us to be in and out which I did not like. I was also injured and left with a cut due to the associate and did not get an apology whatsoever nor did the associate check up on me as I was injured due to her acts. I was also left with a bruise for around two weeks and a permanent injury due to this. But overall, if they are the only ones who have your dress locally just go there with a plan and don't expect much. read more

Last November Mon Amie hosted the Brides Across America event for veterans and their soon to be spouses, I was fortunate enough to be able to attend and get the wedding dress of my dreams. From the event to the alterations everyone that helped was absolutely incredible. All the staff at the salon is extremely welcoming and are just as exited for the future brides as they are for their dresses. We had to do a lot of alterations on my dress and they went above and beyond to make sure my dress was exactly what I wanted. I needed to change the bodice, take the dress in by 4 sizes, take up the length, and my dress ended up needing 13 bustles. It all turned out perfect, the dress fit like a glove and looked absolutely beautiful. It was my first bridal experience ever -- Zandria was amazing and helped me with tons of styles. She helped me get into each dress and made me feel incredibly comfortable the entire time. Erin helped me find my dream dress! She was so helpful and personable, I told her what I wanted and she pulled 5-6 dresses that were exactly that. We're on a short timeline and she said she'd only show me dresses in my price range that could be rush ordered so that I didn't fall in love with something I couldn't have. We went to another bridal salon earlier that day and the woman helping me there kept emphasizing how I would need to choose something that day or the next day to rush order or else they might not be able to get it in time, she brought it up several times and I felt pressured to buy something from them that day. Erin told me about the rush order fee once and never made me feel pressured to buy a dress that same day like the other salon did, it made the experience more fun and it was a much more relaxed and productive appointment overall. They had tons of dresses to choose from in a bunch of different price ranges, which was really nice. Good selection, and the employees were super helpful. I was semi-forced to try on some dresses that I didn't think I would like, but ended up looking great and I'm glad I tried them! They really take your figure and style into account to make suggestions, but aren't too pushy. I returned multiple times to try on the same dress (because I'm terrible at making decisions) - they were happy to have me stop by multiple times and never pushed me to purchase something before leaving. I will say that it can be a bit tough to get appointments at certain times of day (e.g. after work) and they are only open on certain days of the week. They also had a bit of a backlog for alterations when I was there so it took awhile to get those done, but they made sure things were done on time. It is just important to plan ahead! I will also mention that it would be super cool if they gave regular updates on order status without me having to reach out. But I did call a few times when I hadn't heard anything in awhile (3-4 weeks) and they were happy to provide updates. read more

Melissa at Mon Amie was AMAZING! She helped me find my wedding dress last March, and it was such a special experience. By the time I came to Mon Amie, I already went to another bridal shop and got a good idea of what I liked and didn't like. Melissa did a great job narrowing down my taste and most importantly, asked me how I want to feel in my dress. Melissa brought me into the dressing room and delivered about 4-5 dresses to start, and the first one she chose was actually the dress I ended up choosing for my big day - she literally nailed it! Once I decided I loved the dress, Melissa and Megan (the manager) helped me make a few customizations to the dress order, and also worked their magic to make the dress a little more attainable for my budget. I knew it was meant to be! It took about 5 months for my dress to be made and delivered, and although I felt like it was cutting it a bit close to my wedding day, Melissa reassured me that in all of the years they've been in business, they have not missed a single wedding. They even had a showing appointment where I could come try the dress on before it goes to alterations with my veil, shoes, and jewelry! I thought it was a really nice offering as someone who was very eager to finally have my dress. The seamstresses that work in-house at Mon Amie were so amazing and did incredible work to make my dress fit like a glove. The one note however that I have, is that almost all of my bustle buttons unfortunately popped off by the end of my wedding night, but that could also be user error (my train wasn't exactly super light and I had lots of fun dancing). We went with my friend to go wedding dress shopping and we loved the service we got from Mon Amie Bridal Salon in Costa Mesa. As you step in the salon, you can see the elegance of the place. You must book your appointment before coming to the salon. My friend booked hers at 10 am on a Wednesday. We were greeted by the receptionist and the consultant was introduced to my friend. I forgot her name, but she recently got engaged as well and she's a new member at the salon. Overall, she sat down with our bride and asked about the bride's vision for her wedding day, the venue and some ideal dresses she might want to try on. We enjoyed the whole journey and got to sip on some champagne while our friend tried on a few dresses. I had a great experience at Mon Amie! The bridal assistant I worked with, Tina, made me feel heard and genuinely cared to get to know about my wedding vision, style, and what type of day I was hoping for to match with my dress! I came in with some pictures of dresses I looked at online, however, I tried on some wild card dresses which was fun as well! They listened to my wants and designs I favored, and they truly gave me time to analyze and think about the dress. I never felt pressured, and the pricing was reasonable! read more

First of all, I am so happy I went to Mon Amie and selected my wedding dress from here! I went in initially last December to pick out my dress, and I was paired with Tina, who is an absolute angel and gem! She took such kind and thoughtful care of me, pulling out dresses that were the style & price point I wanted, patiently allowing me to take the time I needed to say "yes to the dress," and providing such reassurance the whole process. I said yes to my dream wedding dress, and I received so many compliments!! When the dress came in, for some reason, the designer made my dress two different sizes - with the top being two sizes two small. While I panicked, the staff at Mon Amie, especially the manager, Megan, the manager, reassured me that they would take care of everything. Without me lifting a finger, they contacted the designer and had them send me a whole new dress immediately. Throughout the whole process too, Megan was really intentional about checking in with me and making sure everything with my dress was going well! With alterations, I was also so happy with how the seamstresses altered my dress! I specifically wanted the bust area filled in more, and the way they added the tool, you can't even tell they altered it! It looks like the dress came that way!! This review is way past due, but I went to Mon Amie in July for my wedding dress and had the best experience! This was the first ever shop I went to and found my dress! The good ol' Penny haha. The entire staff were amazing, friendly and fun. All of them definitely know how to hype you up haha. They give honest opinions and I appreciate they weren't just looking for a sale. I had Jeannine as my stylist who was so the most absolute laid back but still very firm in her decisions regarding the different type of styles that suited me. She knows what she is doing haha. You know everyone here is great when I come back to make a review in October because Mon Amie and their staff are worth it! read more

Loved worked with my stylist here!! I forget her name but i think she had blonde short hair and she worked the brides across America event last fall. I felt so supported by her and she helped me decide on a dress that i felt suited me. The dress itself had a really luxurious feel as the inside was lined with silk. Super comfortable! This review is for Gloria in the alterations department. She is absolutely such a gem and an extremely talented seamstress. She made all my dreams come true on many VERY complicated alterations. She made intricate lace sleeves where there was once none and on top of that, I changed my mind last minute (2 weeks from my wedding) and she made the timeline work, and never made me feel like a burden. Gloria is a perfectionist and saw and fixed issues that I myself would have not noticed. She is truly a miracle worker!!! read more
