We arrived about 15 minutes early for the appointment and understood we needed to come back, so the three of us my daughter, my sister-in-law, and I walked to a nearby coffee shop to get some tea while we waited for my sister, my niece, and one of her bridesmaids, Sam. When we all got back and walked in, we were greeted by Hailey. She was so bubbly and genuinely excited to help my daughter find the dress. She was incredibly sweet and spoke to my daughter, Anyssa, in such a sincere and warm way that it immediately made her feel comfortable. I still can't believe I said, "Yes" at Blush!! A huge thank you goes out to Hailey and Amy. These two ladies at Blush Bridal have assisted me from in-person at the boutique to electronically. Now, where do I even begin...? Here is a little about myself! I work in the event industry and I have actually found Blush Bridal Couture (BBC) because I am a lover of Miss Hayley Paige. I searched on her website to find a local boutique. Being the adamant and passionate person that I am -- I emailed BBC and Amy was the one who was super helpful. She made me so excited for my first bridal dress shopping and filled me in with some great news. There was a Hayley Paige (HP) truck show at BBC and I totally made my dress shopping date around that weekend. Bonus is there was a discount that was applied to purchases made! When the day finally came to try on HP dresses, I had my heart set on my #1 choice. It was great, beautiful, whimsical, and I felt like a pretty princess... but it was my Maid of Honor who was there with me that brought another one of her dresses to my attention. Apparently there was a mishap between the trunk show dates being mixed up and BBC extended their trunk show weekend and I went back a second time to try on more HP dresses as well my original #1 choice and the second dress that stole my heart. Hailey was an absolute dream to work with. She contacted me via text a day prior to the appointment so she could get an idea of what I was looking for and the day of the appointment she was phenomenal. She probably put me in 10+ different dresses based on my reactions (she also included some dresses that my family picked out that they wanted to see me in) and each dress was better than the last. Mayra at Blush Bridal Couture is the absolute best stylist hands down! Let me start from the beginning. I found my dress online and looked at the places where it was sold. Although I live in Los Angeles, I was willing to make the trek down to Orange County for this dress. When I got there I was introduced to Mayra. Mayra is an absolutely phenomenal person who went above and beyond to make me feel taken care of! Everyone needs a Mayra when they're looking for their dresses! I was very torn between picking the dress I had envisioned for years and a gorgeous spaghetti-strapped dress that I adored but wanted to make it strapless. I was so indecisive that I couldn't pick a dress by the end of my appointment. Since I was visiting from out-of-town, Mayra kindly and generously offered to let me come in after closing hours to try the dresses on again (on a Saturday before Mother's Day nonetheless!). After deciding that the dress with straps would be ideal, Mayra then emailed the designers to inquire about how alterations can work for the dress. Unfortunately, the designers said the dress was unable to be altered to a strapless dress. Although I didn't end up with either dresses, this review is about Mayra, who is truly a gem. The shop had such a great variety of styles for plus size brides. When I tried on *the* dress at the end of my appointment, I just knew it was the one. I had another appointment at a different bridal shop later that afternoon, which I still ended up attending. She then sent me a list of all the dresses they had in store by designer. I was able to screenshot dresses they had and she had them ready to go for me when we arrived.
