TLDR: LOVE the place, highly recommend. Make sure to have your order repeated back to you!…read more My husband and I love this place. Clean, friendly, homey. Smells like fresh baked bread and goodies every time you open the door. Pastries are SO WORTH IT. They also have seasonal items: - super tangy passion fruit/pineapple danish -refreshing tomato basil danish -fun lemon/raspberry meringue danish We love the ham and cheese croissant too(year round) Giving it 5 stars because we still love it. But had a bad customer service experience today. Ordered a bunch of pastries for 2. We were asked by cashier if we wanted our "tomato danish and elote danish to be heated" Us: "yes, except the tomato danish, pls" Paid and tipped. All was dandy. Went to a table to patiently wait when my husband realized they didn't add the tomato danish(about 1 minute after transaction) He had to get back in line to ask what the mix up was and order it again. Cashier told him she misunderstood that we "didn't want the tomato danish". We didn't get the danish because it sold out (Understandably so, it's super yummy) while my husband was in line. As folks from the industry, we understand mishaps can happen, we still love this place and will still come back. This experience was just disappointing and could have been completely avoided. In the future maybe have cashiers repeat orders back. Which is usually normal for most/all food related businesses.

The crust is made from sourdough, and the cheese, sauce, everything about it is just amazing. All of their pastries are delicious too, but I honestly go for the pizza. It has this crispy, thin sourdough crust, and I normally don't even eat pizza crust, but I eat every bite of this one. The people there are also so friendly and helpful. I believe the owner helped me today and offered to expedite my whole pizza so I didn't have to wait long. Amazing service! Highly recommend!

I don't blame them..if you are the best at what you do charge for it...I probably would pay more than $5.75 now that I've tasted it

I agree, sure is the best! -Pistachio Raspberry Croissant- not overly sweet or greasy. Perfect sweetness of pistachio and raspberry. Loved it! -Almond Croissant- crisp, golden brown crust atop with creamy slices of almond in every bite. Yum! -Spinach Feta- golden buttery crust with flavorful silky egg custard. Melts in your mouth. My Hazelnut Latte was a perfect combo of their concoction with 25% less sweet. I had a large and carried my cup with me as I toured Dallas with my lovely sisters to enjoy the local Asian scrumptious. Will definitely return if I am ever in Dallas again : )

It felt like a true neighborhood spot--warm, familiar, and thoughtful. But this year, not even a "Happy Mother's Day" in sight. It may seem small, but it speaks volumes about the shift in atmosphere since the new ownership. Service feels more distant now, less like a community hub and more transactional. The new owner is courteous, but the inviting energy is gone. The food is still good, but I deeply miss the quiche--crafted with love and skill by the previous pastry chef. It was a standout and irreplaceable. Bread is made more often now, which is nice in theory, but consistency has slipped. My last loaf was disappointingly hard around the edges. This isn't a harsh critique--it's hopeful. I'd love to see some of the old heart and hospitality return. It made all the difference.

Their regular cupcakes are very pretty, and we talked with a woman at the store about what designs they were capable of doing. We agreed to 2D "nature / forest animal faces" after they explained they couldn't do the original 3D design we'd brought as an example. What we got were terribly printed images slapped on top of the cupcakes with a little ring of frosting (see pictures). At no point in our conversation were we told they'd print random pictures, in fact we found some 2D cupcake examples online when we were talking and the woman behind the counter pointed at several of them and said she could do those types of designs, which were all in icing, not printed on edible paper / fondant. At $8 each for "custom cupcakes" I don't appreciate the bait and switch. I would have saved the money on the custom cupcakes and just got their regular ones, which would have looked WAY better than these more expensive "custom" ones. Honestly, with the party tomorrow we're probably going to peel off the badly printed images and just go with the cheap ring of icing and hope my daughter doesn't notice how bad / cheap they look. The cake is delicious (we got some cupcakes to try before agreeing to go with them for the custom ones), but I'll never go back. I feel ripped off and wish someone had at least bothered to call and explain they couldn't do what they'd offered and I would have appreciated being offered the change to just get their regular designs instead of them doing this and leaving a teenager at the store for us to pick them up where we had no actual manager / owner to discuss the issue with.

The cupcakes I bought were so dry, they were not edible. Let's just say, I will not be returning…read morehere.
