I've been a Wingstop devotee for over two decades. In 2003,…read morewe got a brand new location in our neighborhood and I was immediately smitten. I was there all the time. I was there probably too much. I tried all the wings. I ate all the wings. I love them all. But still, after all these wonderful years that have flown by as if they had wings themselves (I know, right? Nice!!) , my go-to order, still, is 5 Lemon Pepper, and 5 Hawaiian. Bone-In. Every. Single. Time. Oh, I might get crazy and order some Hot wings and swap out one of those every now and then. I love their Ranch and Bleu Cheese. I could and would swim in either. But more often than not, it's Lemon Pepper and Hawaiian. For twenty-plus years. And now we have this new location, right in front of my favorite movie theater, Tinseltown. They moved into the old Little Caesars location in front of Walmart on Bert Kouns and I couldn't be more delighted. I will be hitting this place on the way home after films. Upcoming College Football Bowl season in December-January, it is so freakin' on. It's starting to feel like 2003 all over again.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Wingstop located at 779 Shreveport-Barksdale Highway…read more(Store #109). I placed an online order for a 15-piece classic bone-in wing meal and paid extra for all flats. When the order was picked up and brought back to my office, I received only 10 wings, not all flats, and the receipt inside the bag had another customer's name. I immediately called the store and was told I could return after work to receive the five missing wings as flats. When I returned, staff initially refused to provide the missing wings or a refund, stating that I had "accepted" the incorrect order. I was later told they could give me five wings, but not flats, despite the fact that I paid for them. The interaction then became unprofessional. The employee was dismissive, rolled her eyes, and denied prior statements until another customer intervened and confirmed what was said. I was told, "It is what it is," which is unacceptable customer service. I was inconvenienced multiple times due to an error that was not mine. As someone who works in customer service leadership, I found the lack of accountability and professionalism extremely disappointing. I hope this location receives proper training and oversight.

My order consisted of shrimp etoufee over rice , two catfish fillets with crinkled fries . Both meals also had a slice of bread cut in half. My mom and I threw our bread away. The shrimp etoufee was ordered for my mom . She originally from South Louisiana unfortunately she didn't enjoy it was too peppery (her word). Now that she's a senior citizen she doesn't enjoy spicy food. I could smell that seasoning on her and my catfish meal. I tried the shrimp etoufee, I didn't eat a shrimp but except for the spicy smell the rich was bland to me. Now my catfish was received hot and flaky . The sweet potato pie isn't very sweet so hopefully my mom will like it.

The one and only employee/cashier I saw was already bothered by me coming in to pick up my order. Which explains what happened next. I asked if my order came with gravy and she said it didn't. I asked if I could add a side of gravy. She said they don't have a side of gravy but they have a side of rice and gravy for 2.99. Ok cool so I ordered it and she rung me up while sighing like I interrupted her watching her soaps. Then told me it will take another 15 minutes...for some rice and gravy that's back there sitting in a pot rn. Ok. After 20 minutes she brought me a full size to go container with 2 tablespoons of gravy dripping from the poorly fitted piece of foil, not a grain of rice in the box. Yo where's the rice? Oh you wanted rice too? The gravy was good but not worth $1.50 per tablespoon. Came back 5 minutes later with some rice I wouldn't serve to an abusive ex. Not worth the hassle

Let me say you better come with your appetite. Or you're going home with leftovers. I wanted a po-boy, shrimp n crawfish. It wasn't in the menu but waitress made it happen. That's a good waitress. When the platter showed up, it had a po-boy loaded, LOADED, with shrimp and tails. So many that they fell on ver into the FFs. Everything was excellent. Big shrimp. Lots of tails. An excellent tartar sauce. The FFs were some of the best I've ever had. I asked for crispy - they were perfect. I had so much left over the wife and I had it for dinner. When I got home, I told my daughter in law, who's from Shreveport, and she said Sam's is the best. She's right. Can't wait to try other offerings.
