We came here on a weekday morning and they were already quite busy. It took about 20-30 minutes to get our food so it might be smart to order ahead. We ordered two breakfast burritos - one veggie and one chorizo - with a latte and green juice. My partner said that the latte was cafe-quality and pretty good. The green juice was also solid and fresh. However the breakfast burritos were 3 stars at most. The proportion of veggies and meat to the other carbs like potatoes were way off. My partner couldn't finish almost half because he thought there was way too much chorizo and not enough balance with everything else. Not sure if we would return. Some of the best tacos I've had in Seattle. The ingredients taste incredibly fresh and everything is packed with flavor. I've visited twice now, and both times the tacos were the clear standout. Small lil cafe right next to gas works. Even on a Wednesday, it was bustling and busy. Their mango mojito smoothie was out and they recommended the berry smoothie. Glad they did because it was delicious! Also big the sausage sandwich without jalapeños because I can't handle much spicy. The brioche bun was nice and soft. The comfort of the sandwich hit the spot. My husband told me this place has been open since he was growing up- always a good sign to see a place succeed for 15+ years! We both went for the first time while on a Saturday morning walk. The line to order is long, but they keep everything moving very quickly! We both got the breakfast burritos and they are the best breakfast burritos in town- not to mention the prices are reasonable ($11.50 for a sandwich and $12 for a hefty burrito). Next time, I'd try their cold brew as well- only $3.25 for a small! Despite the massive size, we both ended up eating the entire burrito. The inside of the cafe is small but they have a cute patio if you can get a seat- we ended up walking to nearby Gas Works Park and enjoying our burritos with some fabulous views of Lake Union and downtown Seattle. I read the reviews and saw how close I was to this place (10 minute walk) and made the trek here for an early lunch on a Friday. Ordered two bacon breakfast burritos for me and someone else. I have to say I haven't had one this good in quite a long time. The crispiness of the bacon was absolute perfection. I do wish I had asked for extra salsa (which costs by the way) but it was still such a flavorful breakfast burrito that even without additional salsa, it was already at perfection.
