This is one of the spots where I can see myself becoming a regular at. They have the best breakfast burrito in Seattle for all I know. The burrito is generously portioned(2nd trimester size), reasonably priced, and most importantly delicious. They also have tacos, juices, and coffee. I never tried these but they look and smell good and are reasonably priced. This is definitely more of grab and go or stand and eat spot. Service is friendly. I am always 30 mins to a hour late for my food pick up and they never said a word about it. read more

This is more of a Togo place with no place for seating and they are mostly famous for their breakfast sandwiches. But we went to try their lunch sandwich which they start at 10am as well. There was a line to order food and then a 15 min wait to get food. We got the pork sandwich and chicken sandwich and both were decent but there was a lot of spinach. I enjoyed lunch at Mas Cafe. I got the avocado sandwich and added bacon to it. Tasted very good, especially with some Cholula hot sauce. The mango mojito smoothie was super refreshing as well. It took a while to get the food, but I hope that means it was made with care and attention. Delicious food! I got the number 1 sandwich, it was amazing!! my husband got the chorizo burrito he said it was also amazing! My daughter got the cinnamon roll and she can't talk yet but she finished half so I would say it was great! The turnaround was quick! I would say their coffee was not good. The sausage breakfast sandwich is PHENOMENAL. Perfectly savory, double sausage patties had great texture and was not too salty, and buns absorbed all the juicy contents so well. The space is small with just a few seats outside so plan for takeout (super close to gasworks if you want to picnic!). There was a small line for Saturday breakfast (around 10:30) but it moved quickly and we got our food pretty quickly (about 10-15min wait after ordering). VERY good with the grilled onions Chorizo burrito with extra crispy potatoes - a pretty dense burrito! I don't think mine had much chorizo flavor and the raw onions in the pico kinda overpowered this burrito for me. The tortilla was also very thick on one side of the burrito where it felt like I was just eating a lot of thick tortilla. Yes yes yes! Mas mas mas! Their breakfast burrito and chorizo burrito are worth driving cross town for. They are stuffed with flavorful goodness. I am salivating just writing about it. Add their mango mojito smoothie and it's a perfect meal. Whenever I am near Fremont, Wallingford or UDistrict, I try to talk everyone into going here. Very few places to sit except maybe four bar seating spots inside and outside so plan on takeaway or eating in your car which can get messy because those delicious burritos need good elbow room to eat neatly. Not a lot of parking either. If you don't luck out on one of the three spots in the gravel lot you might have to circle around the block a bit. But any hassle is so so so worth it. read more

In short: Killer burritos and good coffee at good prices. Parking is very hit or miss. In long: I somehow worked it out in my head that this would be an easy place to meet a friend, find parking, and be sure we got a table. I have no earthly idea how I messed that up so much, because parking and seating are not the strong suit out of what this place has to offer--but the food and drink are fantastic. As of this writing, many streets through here are torn up by construction, which makes my missed guess even sillier. Luckily enough, we both scored parking less than half a block away, so I'm grumbling for nothing. You walk up a sloped gravel parking lot and through a door into what is essentially a large coffee stand--there's maybe just enough room for a short line of people waiting to order. It's festively decorated, and there are half a dozen stools by small counters if you're staying for lunch. The staff are super friendly. Most of the people seemed to be just grabbing coffee to go, but a few others were eating--almost all the food orders were for burritos. We checked out two of their breakfast burritos and it's easy to see why they're popular. They're in a toasted tortilla, seems to be made with whole wheat flour or something more nourishing than the typical white-flour tortilla. Some creamy cheese sauce holding stuff together. Tons of fresh veg, and the beans have real flavor; they're not just filler here. They offer both mild and spicy salsa, and both tasted mild to me. You're in the heart of the city here, and some places will be skewing very mild with their seasonings. Thankfully, the burritos were both flavor bombs, albeit without salsa heat. Coffee was solid, prices were very fair, and service was bubbly-friendly and cheerful. I'm really glad I checked this place out. I overlooked this little building for a few weeks after moving to the area, but after taking a chance- I'm hooked! I love love love their Al Pastor chicken. They have excellent choices for both breakfast and lunch. Be prepared to stand in line for a bit and then wait a while for your food, but it's so worth it. That being said - I'm not a huge fan of their espresso. Sometimes it can taste overpulled. So I would recommend flavored drinks instead of straight espresso and milk drink.
