I found this coffee shop thanks to Yelp, it's close to Kaiser hospital. I recognized the logo from their drive thru location so I knew the coffee would be delicious. I had the cafe de olla with a splash of cream. So good, just sweet enough. My daughter asked me to grab them the Iced Horchata Latte, half sweet, apparently I'm missing out on this drink. I guess I'll have to stop in again tomorrow. Fast friendly staff, they have a yummy looking selection of pastries, plenty of inside seating and plenty of parking. Mas Cafecito is one of our favorite local coffee spots! The café is cute, cozy, and spacious. It's especially nice around the holidays when they add festive decor that makes it feel extra inviting. As soon as we walked in we went to look at the menu which is right next to the register. We had never been here before and did not get the chance to look at the menu prior to arriving. We pretty immediately felt pressured to order. The menu/list of their drinks do not include descriptions. I asked what the irresistible drink consisted of and the older lady at the counter had a tone when she questioned if i'd "never" had it before. It is normal to expect employees to be happy and willing to explain the drink ingredients. "Irresistible" does not give me much to go off of. We felt pressured to make a decision quickly. On top of that the lady told us to tip her as she turned the machine around. Felt weird and pushy especially after the less than pleasant interaction we had. We still tipped. Their drinks are pricy which I wouldn't mind if the service, ingredients, sizes, and/or quality were really good. They use motin syrups which is typical of many coffee shops but not ideal. There are also "hidden" costs that I wasn't aware of because we didn't get to read through the menu before being pressured to order and it wasn't mentioned by the cashier when she asked if we wanted it. It's about $1 to add any cold/sweet foams. This is pretty common for coffee shops so i'm not too upset about that the additional cost. I simply figured it was how the drink came lol. Coffee overall was decent but nothing special or high quality. You're looking at about $16 for two drinks that are quite average. Good idea for menu and shop poor execution. Coffee taste was good and not overly sugary which we were anticipating. We tried a L Irresistible Latte & R Cafe de Olla. Drinks came out quick which is a plus. Did not get to take pictures because we felt rushed and then my boyfriend and I just started discussing about the experience. Customer service could use improvement and we noticed the floors were very dirty. Plenty of seating and parking available. There is room for improvement and lots of potential. We stopped by this place since we tried the one in La puente. The cafe was spacious with lots of seating inside. I wasn't sure about some of the drinks but the staff was very helpful at explaining them. I got the cold brew with cream foam and my so got the pistachio drink with shot of espresso. Very convenient location right off the 10 Fwy across from In & Out in Baldwin Park. If you like sweet coffees, this is the place for you. I tried the cheese and jalapeño pastry and the almond croissant with the Abuelita Latte and my wife had the Cafe de Olla. Both were excellent but a little sweet for my taste. I'll try a half Abuelita and half Americano. Both inside and outside were very clean and the staff was nice and not pushy or impatient. A group of ladies were enjoying their comfortable seating area and having a good time. Our order took little time to get ready. Overall, we enjoyed our coffee and our pastries. I finally had some time this morning to try the storefront. There was plenty of parking and it was so clean and the esthetic was awesome. In one corner they had the leather chairs and it was so quiet. It was probably because it just opened. I ordered their seasonal pumpkin spice latte and pumpkin concha. Went here on a random Tuesday morning and I was so excited. They were so rude barely acknowledging me when I walked in , so I went ahead and ordered on the kiosk. I was called for my drink when I said thank you so much to the barista she just looked at me and walked away but of course I wouldn't let that ruin my experience I understand people just aren't happy in the mornings but I do think it's something they should address with their baristas especially since I'm not the only one with this feedback . If I'm being honest the coffee was not great it tasted burnt and too sweet all at once. I might have to come back another time to maybe see if it was just an off day . Shortly after someone hit me in their parking lot and when I reached out to their customer service email they completely ignored me and refused to help me with footage of my car getting hit in their parking lot which I thought was very rude and wasn't too much to ask for. I was so excited to try this spot and I think it has a lot of potential but right away I was disappointed to see all the syrup pumps behind the counter because I knew it meant they weren't making them in-house. We were really disappointed in the flavor of our drinks despite their yummy descriptions - we got 2 of the most popular - and didn't end up finishing them. They were not balanced in flavor at all. Price for my large drink was not worth the sour drink and sour attitude. The two girls there seemed unhappy and bothered when I asked about two different drinks and when I asked if the cup they put on the counter was mine. The owner should get staff in there that are more friendly and can be polite. So many bad reviews similar to mine, I would think they would upgrade on their staff by now. We ordered two drinks, one of them being the hot abuelita, and both were really good. I also got the churro cinnamon cake.
