    Mango Matcha
    Alma H.

I had an opportunity to try this place last week. At first, I actually missed it since it is a little tucked away, but there is parking available in the back. My first impression walking in was just how cute the space was and how committed they are to the anime theme. The restaurant is fun, welcoming, and clearly designed with fans in mind. We ordered at the counter and were helped by very friendly staff, who I believe may actually be the owners. As a matcha lover, I was excited to see so many different matcha options on the menu. I opted for the Mango Matcha, and from the color alone I could tell it was going to be a rich, quality matcha. The matcha itself was strong and flavorful, while the mango foam was incredibly delicious. The pieces of dried mango on top were a great finishing touch. My husband ordered the Meliodas Wrath, an iced latte topped with banana cream, and let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious. The banana flavor came through beautifully, and the little banana meringue on top was a fun and tasty addition. For food, my husband ordered the Rengoku Bento, which included rice, flavorful beef, a boiled egg, gyoza, and vegetable egg rolls. The gyoza and egg rolls were both crispy and delicious, and the entire meal was well executed. I ordered the Luffy Steak & Eggs, which came with perfectly scrambled eggs, rice, avocado, incredibly flavorful beef, grilled onions, and a house-made salsa that was honestly one of the highlights of the meal. The salsa tied everything together and added a great depth of flavor. The seasoning and sauce on the beef were bold and intense. Personally, I found that I needed the rice to balance the flavors, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I simply do not eat a lot of rice, so I found the dish worked best when everything was eaten together. Overall, this place is definitely worth a visit. Between the fun atmosphere, friendly service, creative menu, and excellent matcha drinks, it is a spot I look forward to returning to. I will definitely be back to work my way through the rest of their matcha offerings.

Miku's Song and V Super Saiyan

Pleasantly surprised!! Glad to have another good coffee shop in the area. Our drinks were well executed. The added flavors did not overpower the coffee. It was a good roast and brew. We prefer Miku's song (Blue Razz) over V Super Saiyan (Mango). Blue raspberry paired well and enhanced the coffee whereas the mango kind of disappeared. Needless to say, the cafe itself was really nice! It's decked out in decorations, games, and manga. A great spot to hang out. The parking lot in the back is not very big and I believe it shared with the tenants (mixed use building). Overall, I would definitely come again to try their other drinks and food.

    Charriquiles & eggs (green salsa)

My friends and I visited this cafe after the gym. It is tucked in a corner on Pacific Ave. in Baldwin Park. There is a handful of parking spots in the back. The place is unassuming on the outside, but oh so lively on the inside. I only dabble in anime, but you could see how much care was put into decorating this cafe. You can order at your table with the QR code on the stand, which is what my friends and I did. For my drink I got the Gengar Shadow and it came with a matcha poki and blueberry meringue. The matcha was smooth and flavorful. The blueberry cream was tasty, creamy & complimented the matcha so well. I also got the Charriquiles, which were cooked to perfection. The tortilla chips were a gorgeous balance of crunchy and soft. The verde salsa had a little kick and was so rich. The eggs were big and cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and checked on us a bit. It is a little pricey, but that's expected eating out now. Be prepared to wait a little, but that usually is expected with good tasting, high quality food. So mad at myself for not stopping by before, when I perused Yelp for study spots. Will definitely come again!!

What a beautiful and gorgeous place! Anteiku means harmony zone or peaceful ward. It was also a small neighborhood café in the Tokyo Ghoul series. I felt like I am walking in an animation studio. There are anime characters everywhere, in addition to a cute anime mural. The decor was vibrant, unique, and joyful. The furniture were comfy. The place was very clean. They have indoor and outdoor seating. There is an adjacent parking lot with limited spots, but we parked easily there. Their savory menu included; kaido steak sando, rengoku Bento, mugiwara fried rice, steak and eggs, grilled cheese, veggie rolls, Onigri, gyoza, and more. The drink menu had various assortment. They had latte, cappuccino, frappuccinos, Mocha latte, cold brew, matcha, specialty drinks , mocktails and refreshers. The staff were very welcoming and genuinely warm. We ordered the following to go; - Rengoku Bento 5/5 Tender  sirloin steak, sautéed bell peppers and onions, served with fluffy white rice, crispy egg rolls, savory gyozas, and a boiled egg.The portion was excellent. Everything was flavorful. -Sanjis Tamago Sando 5/5 Creamy egg salad spread on toasted sourdough bread, with salsa on the side. The sando was savory, creamy, and rich. -Onigri 5/5 seasoned rice in a triangle shape, decorated with crisp seaweed, and filled with savory fillings. It was fresh and tasty. -G super Saiyan 5/5 Fresh matcha latte topped with mango cream top. Their matcha was strong and creamy balanced with the sweetness of mango. -All might smile 5/5 It was matcha latte topped with banana cream top. It was such a refreshing drink. The natural and rich flavor of banana had well balanced flavor with the strong matcha taste. This cafe is a hidden gem in Baldwin Park. Definitely, I will be back soon.

If you love anime, then you will love this cute cafe spot. I ordered Avocado Toast, Gyoza dumplings, and Mydoriyas Charge drink. The toast with smash avocado and eggs was delicious on a sourdough bread. My pretty Kiwi refresher drink was perfectly sweetened and refreshing. Chicken Gyoza was flavorful inside and crispy on the outside. Tasted great with the dipping sauce. Ambiance is nice and clean. Perfect spot for a brunch, meetup, school and work. Great service. Owner and the staff were m super friendly. I will definitely be back.

This Cafe is trendy and a fun place to be. The owners, Luis and Valerie, have invested time to create a place for the community to enjoy. With an Anime theme, it automatically attracts customers by word of mouth. Leonard from Yelp IE posted his review and photos, I just had to bookmark it! Te-see from SFV, drove all the way out to experience it first-hand and we give it the DOUBLE thumbs up!! Sandwiches, wraps, fruit yogurt parfait, coffee are some of the popular items. All food and drinks are served in glass or ceramic dishware, no paper plates or plastic utensils. If you are like me and don't know what to order, the owner was patient in answering questions and making recommendations. Each item has a creative name and fresh ingredients, not frozen. Try a couple of things and come back to make your way down the menu. Community Events are held on a monthly basis, follow them on social media for the latest schedule. 1. Avocado toast had chopped egg in a mayo dressing. 2. Lotus Latte was topped with a Biscoff cookie. 3. Hot Cocoa with Toasted Marshmallows, whipped topping 4. Killua fruit yogurt parfait with sliced strawberries and blueberries (named after a popular Anime character). I was definitely a fan as soon as I walked in the door. To the left are board games, books and sofa seating. Straight ahead is the order counter and electronic menu board, on the right hand side are several tables with seats for 4 to 6 customers. A few tables are located outside by the front entrance. -Small parking lot behind the cafe (no charge). Sincerely, Rosemary

"Anteiku" is a prominent, fictional coffee shop and ghoul organization in the Tokyo Ghoul anime and manga series, hence the name... Owner Louis and Valerie his wife, opened this coffee shop 8 months ago. As a kid he watched anime to help him through a rough time. His life was truly changed and he wanted to give the community a safe heaven where they too could benefit from it as well. The minute you step inside you will notice all of the anime artwork on the walls, the amazing menu above the counter (it changes every few seconds with the most amazing photos of the drink menu), and the glorious chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. Even the bathroom has anime artwork! There is an area where you can sit back on a comfy sofa or chair to enjoy your drink and/or food. *The drink menu is extensive with Coffees, Matchas, Mocktails, and refreshers. The presentation is beyond spectacular!!! We were blown away! The food menu also amazing! We ordered: *Lotus Latte - a butter cookie/biscoff iced latte 10/10 *Hot Chocolate - looked like a work of art 10/10 *Avocado Toast - mashed avocado with eggs - 10/10 - tasted like avocado egg salad - soooo good! *Killua Fruit & Yogurt - Greek yogurt with fresh Blueberries&Strawberries 5/5 **Excellent service! Louis was so helpful and answered all of our questions about the drinks and the food! ~Check out their website/insta for anime events. Louis is planning on doing a few a months. ~Parking lot in the back *TY Leonard for turning me on to this place! ~ and that's all I have to say about that...xo

    The Chilaquiles were good.
    Peter P.

My daughter and I love coming to this cafe in Baldwin Park, three reasons why. The owner and his employees are super kind and amazing people. I love supporting small businesses. Secondly, the coffee and the Chilaquiles with beef are delicious, definitely my favorite. Lastly, my daughter and I love ripping our Pokemon cards. The owner enjoys us ripping and showing him when we get great hits. The environment is amazing as well. Thank you Anteiku Cafe for amazing service!

A cozy artfully Japanese anime curated coffee shop with instrumental music playing lighly in the background. This place has ample seating and is a great place to lounge around and enjoy your coffeewith a small meal. The staff is friendly, fast and attentive with their service. I ordered the Lotus Latte hot and it has a beautiful presentation and tasted rich, creamy, and not too sweet.

    "All might smile" banana matcha
    Marleena H.

"All might smile" banana matcha was very good. Sweet but not overly sweet, my recommendation would be to mash the little candy that comes on top into the drink and you'll be able to really get the banana with the drink, all in all the matcha was very good. There was a family sitting down and all of their food looked really good. It was a very welcoming environment and even saw people in costume. The workers were also very nice as well. Would come back :), only issue was that it took a long time for the matcha about 25 minutes, I know things are usually first come first serve but working in service if I have big families coming the I'm going to push out the order with one or two drinks while working on my big order. Just a tip but it was very nice and enjoyed my experience

    Cecilia L.

This is such a cool coffee shop! I got the biscoff latte and i loved how it wasnt overly sweet, you can still taste the coffee and the flavor. I do wish they had sip lids instead of dome but thats personal preference. The staff was attentive and very fast.

Zenitsu Ice Tea and Haisen coffee w a meringue cookie.
    Stephanie M.

Cute small cafe with interesting menu items. Perfect for anime and manga otakus, even the meaning of the name relates to the reference from a cafe in Tokyo Ghoul where "even a Ghoul needs a place to relax" comes from. Friendly service and very clean and well kept interior. Could be a date spot, friends hang out, or even a fun outing to show off beautiful artwork. I ordered Zenitsu Ice Tea and my friend ordered from one of the house favorites Haisen Iced Coffee. Both drinks were good, can't wait to try other menu items so will be back again but honestly I really want to just bask in the happy vibes in this cafe. Parking is convenient and free behind the building.

Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park) is perhaps one of the most unexpected, unique, and utterly lovely experiences that I've stumbled upon. It felt like a Disney cafe for anime enthusiasts. The Nezuko's Love (aka: iced matcha latte with strawberry cream, strawberry pocky, & pink meringue - $7) is refreshing, picturesque, and very big. I felt happy. I arrived at Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park) on Tuesday (around 12:27PM). This location is a short three minute drive from West Covina Mall. Parking is simple & convenient. This business's small parking lot contains about 11 spaces. Staff also explained that there's no time limit on these parking spaces despite the green paint. Personally, if management added a tiny sign in the lot, that would alleviate many concerns about the parking. Staff is charismatic, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Staff speaks English and Spanish. Staff (receipt says Luis) gave wonderful recommendations and worked hard. Luis also quickly answered my questions with an unwavering smile. My drink took five minutes and 19 seconds. It's a good pace. I enjoyed the Nezuko's Love ($7). This matcha tasted clean & smooth. The bits of strawberry cream were thick, sweet, and lightly tart. The strawberry pocky had a fresh crunch. And its floating pink meringue reminded me of astronaut ice cream with a gummy, very sweet center. It's a big, refreshing, & quality drink. Regarding ambiance, Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park) is gorgeous. It's reminiscent of an upscale cafe in Las Vegas; if placed in the Bellagio, it would seamlessly fit in. The colors are vibrant; the decor is spotless and well-maintained; and the ceiling's light fixtures are beautiful as they sparkle. In addition to its sleek, eye-catching appearance, there's sincere utility. Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park) has customer internet with password. Customers must directly ask staff for the password information. Also, there's two electrical adapters nearby its tables. These electrical adapters are wonderful since they have 8 sockets for plugs and a couple ports for USB cables. Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park) felt spacious with its tall ceiling; however, the floor space is limited. This location's interior fits about six tables; the outside patio has about three tables. This location is very clean and well-ventilated. This location also includes a gender neutral restroom for customers. Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park) also has a lounge area for anime/manga enthusiasts. Nearby its plush chairs, there's a place to interact with Pokemon plushies. Customers also have permission to read from their small manga library (ex: Demon Slayer Volumes, Jujutsu Kaisen Volumes, etc.) on the standing cabinet. Customers can also play with the available games (ex: Uno, Monopoly, Dominoes, etc). To my surprise, it all looked well-maintained and clean. My main concern will be its longevity, especially if a hidden gem like this becomes very busy. Regardless, there's currently genuine passion and care within these walls. Overall, I had a memorable & lovely experience at Anteiku Cafe (Baldwin Park). If curious, I wholeheartedly recommend. The hype is real! It's a must-try. 5 out of 5. "Go!!!"

They have so much variety here , whether it's sports cards , pokemon , or other collectibles. I highly recommend.

This store is one of the most amazing places that you can visit in Pasadena. If you love…read morecollectibles, vintage toys, board games, cards, etc. You'll find all types to find here. Staff here is great. They're friendly and very informative which is always a nice sight to see for newcomers. In the back, you'll find many tables where people visit to play all types of games. Ranging from board games, cards, DnD, and list goes on. Best part is that you can try all types of games for free. My wife and I visited with some friends and we had such a wonderful time playing board games. Time flew by so fast as we were all having fun. I'd say the tables could use some cleaning but very spacious overall. Parking is out in the back but it's pretty limited. Street parking is also available but watch out for time slots. Overall, very happy about Odyssey Games, very much a must visit spot if you love board games. Place can get packed as you'll often find plenty of people here. Love to visit again soon to try new board games.

Really love the board games they have and the space they have. Been coming to this spot for years…read moreeven before it was odyssey games. Whats sad is that they jumped on the bandwagon to gouge pokemon card prices. They were selling less desirable packs for 8 plus dollars and the more desirable packs were way more. I think this is too opportunistic of a price point. I do like that the people there all seem to have a passion for board games.
