Wanted to eat here twice before posting a review. Very consistent for a new business. We tried the Chilli chicken, Chilli paneer tofu, the Tandoori chicken Tika and on a previous visit Dal, Butter Chicken and Chicken Tika Masala. All dishes are well seasoned and delicious. Rice, Naan and Roti are plentiful when ordered. This has very quickly become a family favorite. Customer service is excellent with a caring front manager. read more

I moved to Merced 2 years ago and I was disappointed with the options here for Indian food. It's my fave and I have kind of high standards lol. I was so excited to discover a new option tonight on Yelp. I ordered the samosas, butter naan, fish pakora, butter chicken, and lamb vindaloo. All of it was delicious, and the butter chicken was my fave, creamy and rich and the perfect balance of savory and sweet. They paid meticulous attention to my requests for spice level, extra condiments, etc. I'm so excited they are here and I can't wait for my next visit! read more

The food here is amazing! My family and I, once again, were traveling, and started to get our end-of-the-trip craving for Indian food. We went after a day of traveling and some hiking in Yosemite and the food absolutely hit the spot. We loved it SO much that we actually went back for dinner again the next night. I dont eat Indian food frequently, but I know that I do llove me some samosas. I walked in the place is clean so that was nice. I walked up to the counter & the gal at the register asked if I was dining in? I said no, I'm ordering to go, but this is my first time here. She didn't offer any suggestions, so I grabbed a menu & ordered based on previous experience at another restaurant. The chicken Tika Masala was great, Naan was good & the samosas were delicious. I'd give this place 5 stars but the gal who took my order wasn't friendly at all. I almost felt a little unwelcome, but at that point, I was too hungry to care. Also, pay attention to the bell they ring at the counter. Turns out that means your order is ready for pick up. Here I was sitting at a table with my back to the counter, waiting for my food to be brought to me. I likely waited more than I needed to. I think someone at the register noticed my food sitting there & brought it to me. Just FYI. Anyway, I'd still come back. Enjoy! read more

Everything my husband and I tried was delicious! The service was very friendly made sure we didn't need anything! Right off the bat when we walked in we were greeted with great customer service, the inside of the restaurant is super cute and clean and really nice was actually quite taken back on how nice it was . The gentleman who helped us order our food was so great and helpful very friendly and attentive excellent customer service. I love the fact they bring you water without having to ask and leave some for you to continue drinking . We ordered quite a bit of items I'll start with the butter chicken at a Spicy level 7 it was absolutely delicious and flavorful definitely a 10/10 , next up we decided to go with the basmati rice it was very moist not dry and paired well with the butter chicken . The tandoori chicken pizza was delicious the pizza dough was definitely some of the best I've ever had! It truly had the perfect texture and crunch to it next time we will have to get the butter chicken version of it . The garlic cheese naan was amazing super tasty and delicious. Merced has two different Indian restaurants and this one takes the number one spot definitely recommend coming here and we will be back read more

Went in for the first time and although the establishment is nice and clean, the customer service was subpar. The 2 ladies working barely acknowledged me and my party, told us to seat ourselves and handed us menus but never came back to take our orders, or offer us a drink. So we got up and walked out, and went right to Taste of Little India because they've never disrespected us.
