This is the best Indian food I've ever had and if I lived closer I would go back to try everything on the menu! We got an assortment of options, and everything was amazing!!!! I don't know how they make so many unique and flavorful all stars of a dish in the tiny place. The lasooni Gobi is my favorite food I've ever had in my entire life.

Masala Kraft is as close to a home-cooked Indian vegetarian meal with affordable prices as you can get in the suburbs. The appetizers and sandwiches remind you of homemade guilty pleasure Indian snack foods you would eat growing up. Even the fact they have thalis for a great deal makes the experience all the more comforting. You can get North Indian, South Indian, and everything in between. The last time I went I enjoyed the crispness of the chilli cheese toast! We always come back when we need reliable, affordable Indian food and don't feel like cooking.

Masala Kraft is the BEST Indian restaurant I know. I adore their paneer paired with their bhattura. Their staff is so nice and they are so on top of everything! Masala Kraft has such a cosy vibe, I love this restaurant so much! 5 stars, and I definitely recommend!

The food is full of flavor and never disappoints. I recommend the chocolate ice cream it comes with chia and other things and it delicious. Even if you are full the portion is good for 2 to share and is very light. I had the Chana and my bf had the aloo really great dishes. When we arrived the ambiance was very quiet and calm, but then it got a-little busier closer to 6:30-7pm. The service was different since the owner was not there (less check ins), but still really good.

Friday night -walked in for a table for two! Service is polite in this small cafe with a nice variety of Indian food from different regions. The Bhel appetizer had the perfect crunch, the chili cheese toast was served piping hot with dripping melted cheese and the sauce for the Kofta and Masala is still making my mouth water.

This is a cosy eatery offering exclusively vegetarian cuisine. Peak periods can get busy. Restaurant's preference is for payment in cash. The vegetarian options are interesting and varied, featuring many items not regularly found on Indian menus around here. Food is fresh and tasty and the flavors are culturally authentic with reasonable levels of heat and spice. Start with the Masala Fries. Sprinkled with a delicious blend of herbs and spices, they are aromatic and extremely moreish. My favorite order has to be their paper thin rice and lentil crepes. I recommend the Plain Dosa or the Masala Dosa, the latter is filled with spiced potatoes and onions. Each order is freshly prepared and served with the ubiquitous sambhar curry and freshly grated coconut chutney, which are the perfect foils to these crispy crepes. Aloo Puri, a dish of potatoes and pea curry served with two puris, is also very good. Love the chewy texture of the deep fried bread with the savory and aromatic flavors of curry. This is the place to sample Thali, a traditional assortment of Indian dishes on a platter. Check out the several options on offer, each is a sumptuous meal in itself. Last but not least, you must try their Masala Chai. Theirs is one of the best I've tasted and they offer, on the side, the classic jaggery as a sweetener. It's the perfect warm up beverage for cold chilly days.

We came in haangry for desi chai and left raving about all the food items that we ordered, papri chaat, aloo paratha, aloo kathi, masala dosa, aloo puri and of course the chai. Please open a restaurant in SoCal!

We have been ordering chole bhatura from this local vegetarian Indian restaurant for a while. It brings back all the feelings of homemade goodness. Had the pleasure of picking up more take-out this evening and met the lovely Sonia who had me try their delicious vegan mango lassi (no white sugar either)! The food is always warm and fresh. We will be returning to dine-in to try their Hakka noodles and chili paneer soon! Love that they gave vegan and fusion choices. They also have an assortment of desserts like ladoo and Indian drinks like limca. Staff is friendly and the place is clean and prepared with safety measures. Please support your local businesses!

There are regular fries and then there are fries which will make you wanna ditch your diet plan.

This is my new favorite spot whenever I am in the mood to get a taste for desi vegetarian street food ! They are not only freshly prepared, but also every spice in authentically on point. Usually you may not find a spot to sit if you come on a busy evening , but I took my family there for a Monday brunch and had a fantastic culinary experience. Masalkraft is a good choice of a name for them because they have turned street food into a delectable Kraft. I even took "take out" Kati rolls and falafel wraps for my parents who now wish to come here in person also . Anyway here are some of our pics . Highly recommend!

Masala Kraft is hands down the best Indian restaurant. Their food is authentic, and spans multiple regions of India. It is made with top quality ingredients, and never oily or over spiced. It's all vegetarian and almost anything can be made vegan. I've also brought meat-lovers who loved it and returned on their own for more! I have so many favorites (sev puri, samosa chaat, lasooni gobi, pani puri, channa bhatura, chili tofu, carrot/beet halwa....) and if you are unsure what to order the staff is extremely helpful. Sonia is a gem. The decor is cozy with pretty details and artwork. If you go during peak hours and have to wait, it's worth it!

I came to Masala Kraft Cafe with a couple of friends on a Wednesday night. It was pretty cold outside so we were itching to get inside and have a nice warm meal. It was just that! It was most of our first times trying Indian cuisine or that specific dish so it was all around a very unique experience. I ordered the Thali #1 which had a lot of different doughy pieces to dip into the sauces and soups. It was my first time experiencing so many difference flavors in one dish. We shared the lasooni gobi (which is a cauliflower appetizer) which was very interesting! It has a very sweet vinegar-like taste! The guy who was there helped us a lot and walked us through how to eat each dish and even gave us suggestions. It was very informative and he was super nice. Such nice and homey service!

Let's talk about this wonderful establishment... a kosher vegetarian Indian restaurant located in the heart of Hartsdale. I decided to try this place out as my friend is Jewish and eats Kosher food. The food was excellent!!!!! You know when you go to an Indian spot and get really bad reflux afterwards? This place leaves you feeling satiated without that horrible feeling. See the photos attached to see what I ordered. All great items! The staff was so friendly and attentive. I even met the owner who was so lovely and asked how our experience was. I recommend this to anyone craving quality Indian food. Please stop by if you're in the area. They have specific time for lunch and dinner, so coordinate accordingly. Hand sanitizer stations throughout the restaurant and overall clean environment.

There is a moderately sized municipal parking lot across the street which you can pay for with the passport parking mobile app. The venue is small with a few tables and appears to be more of a take out rather than dine in spot. The server was very friendly and cleaned off the table frequently of empty dishes. The venue was clean and had Bollywood tunes playing in the background creating a nice and cozy atmosphere. We tried various small plates which included the dhokla, samosa chaat, & chicken samosas. The apps were small in portion but were well seasoned and absolutely delicious! The chicken samosas were served with ketchup and had a slight kick to them. For main courses we tried a plain dosa with sambar and coconut chutney, the butter chicken bowl & a paneer khati roll. The dosa was crisp and beautifully paper thin. The butter chicken was served over white rice & was very tasty. We only wished it had more gravy on it. The khati roll was packed full of paneer and not overly spicy. We loved the dhokla and samosa chaat so much we ordered a second set to take home. The venue offers traditional drinks like masala chai and mango lassi in addition to traditional sweets. The menu is small but fun and great for a quick bite to eat. Definitely looking forward to returning!

We arrived at the restaurant a little before 3PM and were told that the Lunch Special had ended. However, at the time we went, the online menu stated that the Lunch Special went on until 3PM. I pointed that out and thankfully, a different waiter allowed us to order from the Lunch Special menu. The decor and set up of the place was lovely with fancy touches. I ordered a Mango Lassi, as well as a Lunch Special Platter. The Mango Lassi was sweet and refreshing, though not thick enough for me. For my meal, I went with the Goan Shrimp Curry with Garlic Naan (for an additional charge). This was served with onion fritters, sag paneer, basmati rice, cucumber raita, pappadum, as well as rice pudding. The Goan Shrimp Curry only had 3 shrimps in it, but they were large in size and quite juicy. The Curry sauce was wonderfully comforting, savory, and well seasoned. Onion Fritters were perfectly crispy and full of bold flavor. The rice was cooked well and Garlic Naan was delightfully buttery with strong garlic taste. Rice pudding was nicely fragrant and sweet. Service was good. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating. Everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were reasonable. I might return if I'm in the area, but would not go out of my way to do so.

Note, I haven't ordered for a few months so I don't know if owners changed or what. I ordered the goat curry, chicken biryani, and vegetable korma... and what a disaster. Now, I ordered through uber which showed a BOGO so why not... But what I got was sacrilege - and I say that as a South Asian. Like, I would be embarrassed to serve this to my family. My mom would be ashamed of me if I cooked like this. The goat curry used to be plentiful and thick now it's obvious they split 1 order into two containers to make it seem like BOGO and it's incredibly watery and thin. The goat isn't even cooked through and the curry flavors didn't penetrate - lazy cooking. The biryani - omg what? It's not biryani. I have no idea what it is, it's some chicken in some curry sauce mixed with some rice and they're busy trying to rip you off with pretend "BOGO" so they split it in two and dump white rice on top. Why even bother offering BOGO?! I will never order from here again. This isn't Indian food and it's definitely not quality. This is a joke. Please save your money.
