We recently had mud rains on a trip to Iowa and the car sparkled when they were finished.

Being from out of town, but having lived in the area over 20 years ago, I'm not familiar with this car wash, but definitely has many friends that are. Quality service has become a thing of the past here. Makes sense, because it was taken over by a GM dealership owner! See, pretty much everything the Government Motor Company (GMC) touches, turns to crap! So upon close inspection of my "brand new" Toyota 4-Runner, the truck came out of the detail shop with scratches, that weren't there when it went in. Once in the wash, the machine cracked our windshield - there was zero damage prior. Upon exiting, we stopped and showed the employees the damage. They had us submit a claim form and said they'd get back to us. Fast forward, they sent an email stating they weren't liable and went into a diatribe about how this is how "tempered glass works" (Windshields aren't made of tempered glass, they are laminated glass). When I pushed back and told them I expected them to fix it or pay our deductible they refused.I contacted my insurance company and they said that the deductible is $250 and it could potentially raise our insurance rates if I file a claim. They refuse to take responsibility. I have contacted the Attorney General, the Better Business Bureau, and will make sure to tell everyone to NEVER EVER TAKE THEIR VEHICLE TO ECLIPSE CAR WASH OR ANY OTHER CAR WASH THEY OWN (they own many). Buyer beware - this is NOT how you do business.

At the end of the car wash, my car was still filthy. I had to take my car to a manual car wash to wash all the bugs and everything off of my car car my wheels and tires after I spent 10 more dollars at the manual car wash I went back to the automatic car wash to ask them if I could please get another car wash so that my car not be spotted. They told me no and I would have to pay for another car wash. I said well your car wash did not clean my car and I had to go and pay more money car wash to get my car clean, he said he would not assist me with a car wash even though I paid premium car wash that did not clean my car and I would have to again. I think this is crappy and they should be able to clean your car and if not, you should be able to go through again. And I don't understand why my car went through the car wash as a basic when I paid $20 so I shouldn't have even had to go through a second time because it literally took like 30 seconds to a basic. I think it's a real shame though that the cashiers are quite rude. 90% of the time, these young men don't speak to you at all, not a word.. won't even look at you. And sometimes are too busy on their phones or talking to each other to do their work. It's really poor customer service. One of the younger guys reeks of alcohol, every time I go up to pay. This week, I came in and there was a very sketchy looking guy outside and he walked in when I did. He had an angry scowl on his face and stared at everyone while he just stuffed his jacket full of snacks, got a soda and walked out. The guy behind the counter looked at him and didn't say a word. It was terribly uncomfortable and this man then stood right outside the business afterwards. I've seen him a few times when I pull up and I refuse to go in now if I see him. From what I've seen, there's more police presence here at this Motomart than any other gas station around- I don't know why this is tolerated and not reported by staff. I hope I'm wrong and it has been. If it hasn't, you're putting people at risk. For such a clean, well stocked convenience store, so much work needs to be done in customer service. There is only one evening cashier, that I know of, that is very friendly and I wish I knew his name to give him a shout out. I just know he has dark hair and wears glasses - always been great.
