Came here for a birthday celebration with a Groupon deal. We had a tasting and the gentleman that served us made it an extremely pleasant experience. It's a small tasting room but makes it a cozy experience. The outdoor patio area has tables to sit while overlooking the vineyard in between tasting. My husband surprised me for Valentine's Day with a wine tasting from Maisa and I have to say he did GOOD. The experience was phenomenal they greet you upon arrival with bubbly, and give you a take home glass at departure. YES PLEASE. The girl who did our tasting has forever changed the way I shop and look at wine. So informative and she taylored the testing to everyone's individual preference. Sweet, semi sweet, dry, etc. The location was spectacular and had a live band. They also have an AMAZING, 30% off military discount that we had to take advantage of!!! This gem of a vineyard would not of been on our list if it was not for their sister property Danza. We were lucky enough to arrive on a day where inside tasting was allowed again. We were welcomed by Jillian who is freakin' awesome by the way. Zakk was also very hospitable and great to speak with at our time spent there. Jillian is very well versed on the vineyards wines and highlighted each of them that we chose to taste. I really enjoyed all of the wines we tasted but I have to tell you that their dessert wines are not to be missed, I was very impressed by them. We took a bottle of Verano and a bottle Orquestra that has that peppery finish that I like in Reds. This vineyard is laid back with outdoor seating overlooking the vineyards and a beautifully decorated tasting room, even the bathrooms show attention to detail. Found the winery when I was planning the trip to Temecula. Given the focus on Italian and Spanish varietals the region wasn't among my favorites but at the same time the varietals and wines present are among the best I've seen in some time. The winery is also very beautifully situated with patio overlooking the valley where you can see other wineries and hills. Wines are good but not exactly my favorites due to high acidity. read more

Pretty good selection if wines, tons of seating outside. I enjoyed the tasting here, although at first the pours were barely an ounce and then our server switched to a different lady after the 4th glass. Then it became pretty much a full glass each. Masia was the perfect setting for my husband's 50th birthday. Dawn was an amazing party coordinator/host along with her staff and provided excellent service. They have amazing wine, from the sparkling Magrano to welcome the guests with, to the white Muscat Canelli, the red Monastrell and really fresh Sangria to go with the yummy catered tacos. Our guests wouldn't stop raving about the location, views of the vineyard from the covered courtyard, the lovely ambience with the water fountain, as well as an indoor lounge, and all facilities maintained both beautifully and clean. The staff was so lovely and accommodating and everything was arranged perfectly as agreed upon making our event smooth and successful. I couldn't have been happier! read more

Like many other reviewers, I came here with a Groupon. It was my boyfriend's first time in Temecula (and wine tasting for that matter) so my main concern was offering him an authentic wine tasting experience at a non commercialized winery. Funny thing is, my first choice was Danza (which happens to be their sister winery, go figure) but they were all booked. So, after reading the reviews, and calling in to book a wine tasting I pulled the trigger and bought the voucher for Masia de la Vinya. When I called in, I spoke to the tasting room manager, Tiffany and she offered the most authentic and friendly customer service ever. I was hesitant that her demeanor would change once she found out I was coming in with a Groupon (since that happens to be the stigma at other wineries) and on the contrary, she went on to make me feel like a VIP guest and recommended which of the two wine tasting experiences would be better suited for us. It was then I knew that my experience was off to a GREAT start. Fast forward to the day we visited the winery which to our surprise, happened to be a rainy day in March but, that did not stop us from having the most wonderful experience. Once we arrived, we were greeted and poured a glass of their Brut while we waited for the rest of the group. My boyfriend and I enjoyed our wine in the meanwhile and admired the beautiful aesthetic of the boutique winery. Then, we were taken to the beautiful wine tasting room and were introduced to our wine server, Spencer who was so knowledgeable and down to earth. To simply say our experience was perfect is not enough, we loved the staff, wine, and environment/vibe so much that we became wine club members! The perks are definitely an added bonus for what you pay for (2 bottles of wine bi-monthly + a glass of wine for you and your guest when you visit to pick up your shipment AND a ticket for 2 complimentary tastings to use and or gift with every shipment). All in all, I look forward to frequent Masia during the beautiful summer days and enjoy a glass of wine and a picnic while listening to the live music they have on the weekends. read more

I've been here a couple times now, the place definitely has grown on me. I've visited here since they were in the barrel event last year at Temecula wines and still does not disappoint. Would definitely vote as a new must stop as party of the winery crawl. As to the wines, they are great. Most are in the $30 range. I've had a few, their Brut, Temperanillo, and Cab to name a few. If I remember right, their Cab Franc is my favorite here. All of their wines are great, tho not the best I've had but definitely up there in terms of price and value. If you think this place is similar to Danza Del Sol, it's founded from the same people. Most notably, Bob Olson and the name of this place is referred to "Manor House of Vinyard". You'll find a small quaint tasting room inside with some seating but most can be had outside in a tasting bar area in the courtyard. You'll also find some acoustic sessions on the weekends. Ample parking space just slightly down the hill, I believe there are two unmarked lots. read more

We purchased a Groupon to try the winery and were pleased with the result. It is a smaller winery with a friendly, homey feel instead as opposed to some of the larger corporate ones. The wine is very good -- we especially like the Brut which isn't too dry. The staff is friendly and the outdoor patio is perfect for bringing a picnic. Came to this winery back in August with my future husband, Aunt, and Uncle. Throughout our weekend, we visited over a 1/2 a dozen different wineries. This was definitely a favorite. We had such an amazing wine tasting experience with Amanda. She truly is a beautiful sole and gave us such a memorable tasting with tons of information about wine, grapes, vinyards, notes, etc. She even taught us the 5 S's. This was the perfect way to celebrate Mother's Day. It was a gorgeous day sitting on their patio overlooking the vineyard. We each sampled four of their wines and had their cheese/meat plate plus their cheese/veggie plate-a good combo for us and a good compliment to the wine. For a warm day, the rose was my favorite. Their wines are reasonable and tasty. They're sister winery is Danza del Sol so try that too. The service was fast and good, we enjoyed our server who took time to talk to us. Absolutely recommend getting the Travelzoo deal! Thanks to Yelp and Travelzoo, we discovered this wonderful little boutique winery this past weekend. We were celebrating our anniversaries and California Wine Month and it was our last stop along the De Portola Wine trail. Their vineyard was smaller than most of the vineyards we had seen that day, but what it lacks in size, their wines and customer service makes up for it. It ended up being everyone's favorite winery that day. They specialize in Spanish wine, and Spanish wines are my favorite! The deal: Wine Tasting for 2 people for $14, which included 6 tastings each and a souvenir wine glass for both to take home. Their standard tasting price is $14 for one person, no souvenir wine glass. So yeah, getting the deal was a no-brainer. Such a great value! Ani (i'm not sure if the spelling is correct) was our sommelier and she was great. I honestly loved all the wines we picked. You can taste the difference, the quality and love they put in their wines. My favorites were the Orquestra, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Malbec. At the end of the tasting, we couldn't decide which two bottles we wanted to take home, so she refilled our glasses with another taste so that we could compare again...so nice! We went home with a bottle of the Orquestra and Cabernet Sauvignon and she also gave us 10% off! Thank you, Ani! There was live music playing out on the patio and plenty of seating outside to sip on our wines and take in the beautiful views.
