Upon arrival, the kindness continued and he was very helpful and knowledgeable on the proper length for Kolby's mane. I really appreciated this because he cut Kolby exactly how we I wanted (we do not do the traditional cut on him). I was initially worried about my fur baby because he gets extremely anxious, but, I felt comfortable once we were able to discuss things. The appointment took the standard amount of time, so no complaints there. The checkout process was smooth as well. Overall, Kolby looked like a new furman! I was very pleased with the end result and will definitely be back.

The staff had been locked outside since 0530 and was standing there like idiots - only one young woman out of SIX seemed concerned that the dogs were locked inside alone. They reported they had called their manager repeatedly and knocked on her door - no response. At 0800, I finally called the Irving Fire Department to rescue my dogs and all the other animals in the building. They arrived with two trucks, a chief and two police cars. The firemen had to threaten to break down the door of the manager apartment to get her to open the door. There were 11 other customers who were equally as pissed off - several stormed off and I was shocked at the few that stayed and left their dogs knowing the situation. All the dogs had been unattended for more than 12 hours. My dogs were not bathed as scheduled. They reeked of urine and stool and were full of anxiety. The policy of the animals being unattended at night is unsafe and not what I am paying for. The manager not showing up to work amplified an already dangerous situation. I was told by the young woman that checked me out I would be contacted about a refund as she felt I deserved this. I have heard from no one at PP.

I get it- they dry hair quickly, but mine is just super sensitive to them. A few weeks ago, I reached out to Furry Tails via email and explained my dog's fears. The gentleman (I believe his name is Jake) quickly responded and assured me that he understood and that he could offer a kennel dryer. I took her in today for her grooming appointment. Of course, she immediately put on her brakes (locked her legs) and I had to coax her into the salon. Thankfully, Jake was waiting at the counter. He remembered Verda Belle's fears and did his best to become friends with her by talking softly to her and offering a treat. Of course, she was making me feel guilty, but I also could see she would be in good hands. She was there about 2.5 hours since it took longer to dry her. He called when she was ready and when I arrived, he assured me that she actually tolerated it all well. Whew! She looks amazing! He groomed her as I had requested and she smelled great. It is now being explained as my baby "not having enough hair," which contradicts what was said before the grooming started. This is why I am disappointed and chose to share my honest experience. which is why I am disappointed. Even took her to her regular day care and all of them asked me what happened to her and were concerned about the haircut being so uneven.
