Kelce has been to two other doggie daycare facilities but Underdog suits her perfectly. I love that you can see how your dog is doing on their Facebook page. When I pick Kelce up, she is happy well balanced, ready to come home eat her dinner and go to bed. I can tell that she's content not overly exhausted or anxious. I love this place! They absolutely love it here--they get so excited every single time we pull up to the facility, tail wagging like crazy as soon as they recognize the place! The staff knows them by name and truly seems to love their jobs. They take such great care of him--playtime, attention, the works. Herb has some anxiety, especially when the group has to play indoors due to weather, so they proactively moved him to VIP play (individual supervised sessions) to keep him comfortable and stress-free. That kind of thoughtful, personalized attention means the world to us. We usually have a trusted pet sitter for overnights, but if she's not available, Underdog Kennels is the only place we'll board our pups. No question. My dog absolutely loves going here. I am pretty nervous about dropping her off at new places but this place is a place I can trust. The first day they provided me with her report card. I requested her to stay again and they approved it almost immediately. I love that the dogs have long days and opportunities to play all day. They also provide lunch (I sent my dogs food with her because she's a little picky with food). I also really like that they post pictures so you can see how your dog day is going. I discovered Underdog Kennels on Groupon. They offered a great deal - 5 days of daycare for $50. Whaaat?! They are located near my work, so Hubby and I booked the deal and tried them out. Bailey had the best day. They post so many photos on Facebook during the day, showing the fun that the pups are having. Bailey came home tired and happy. I love the friendliness of the staff. Best place ever! I've tried other daycares just to experiment, and let me say my dog makes it CLEAR this is where he wants to be! The staff is incredible. I'm super obnoxious and ask them way too many questions (food, poop, behavior-related....you name it) but what blows my mind is they always have an answer. They know every move my dog made that day & can report back to me no problem. My dog is on the smaller side but somehow manages to DRAG me inside once we arrive b/c he's so excited. Just a few examples of them going above & beyond: 1. Any time I've told them he's struggling with digestive issues they offer to put pumpkin in his food. 2. One time I brought my friend's dog that Moose loves to play with along with us to daycare on a holiday weekend but he hadn't been temperament tested yet. The owner offered to do it herself before the first group went out at 8:45AM so he could play! 3. Also when I've brought my friend's dog, they put the dogs in rooms where they could see each other :) 4. They've told me anytime he's thrown up even without me asking. 5. I had to leave town unexpectedly and had never used Underdog Kennels before. The Staff processed my dog's intake documents quickly and was able to approve her appointment right away. The staff welcomed my dog upon arrival and made her feel comfortable. When I came to pick her up 5 days later she came out of the pick-up door SMILING!!! She was energetic and happy!! We love UK! We've tried several doggy daycares in the area and Rosie loves this one the best. I drop her off for daycare basically every day. They take really good care of her and are very sweet, especially John and Rob. I drop off some food for her to have as a midday snack and they always accommodate. Highly recommend for daycare and boarding! My dog, Boba, is about 8 years old and has never been in daycare or boarding, but we needed to board her for a weekend trip after recently moving to the Dallas area. The website is intuitive. I was able to easily upload her information and reserve the meet and greet/daycare day to happen just 2 days after setting up her profile. The day of, Rob greeted me and took Boba in (with COVID-19, they come get your dog(s) from your car). While she was there, UK sent me a link to their Facebook page where they consistently and reliably post pictures of the dogs playing. She loves going to dog parks, so it looked like she was really enjoying her day there. Her boarding was from a Fri-Sun, and I was a little nervous about dropping her off since we've always had friends/family watch her when we are out of town. I was super impressed that they continued posting pictures on their Facebook page through each day of the weekend, so I was able to see that Boba was doing fine (whew!) and was enjoying herself. She had such a great time, that when we picked her up and someone brought her out to the car, she walked right past us which is quite a testament to the quality of her experience at UK since she is very attached and gets some separation anxiety. Honestly, I also get separation anxiety when I leave her for trips, but the UK experience was comparable to having friends/family caring for her. Really happy to have found UK. I'm not sure how to leave a review for a kennel because I'm not my dog but I presumably will leave a review on his behalf. Otis typically stays in the VIP suite. I'm not sure if he understands the difference between a regular suite and a VIP suite but he only lives once. He was a rescue so I imagine he appreciates his rooming to some degree. Otis has no desire to play with toys, dogs, or people. I'm always pleasantly surprised to see how exhausted he is when I pick him up and I have peace knowing in some way he was active. Our elderly golden retriever stays with them when we have to go out of town and at 16 years old, we would not trust just any place with our sweet old girl! Recently used Underdog to board my Great Pyrenees over Thanksgiving after a referral from and friend and had a great experience. I was a little nervous at first about leaving him for 9 days, it was the first time he'd ever been boarded, but was reassured after I followed them on Facebook and saw he was having a great time every day in the photos they post where he was obviously having way too much fun. We even got a report card after his stay that outlined how he behaved (I was a little worried about because he'd never been gone that long), how he interacted with the other dogs, and the one area he had to work on. They even bathed and brushed him before coming home. Overall a stress free and great experience for both of us. He stays for overnight boarding pretty regularly since we travel frequently (pre and post-covid of course).
