We will never bring our dogs back to this facility after what happened to my sister's dog. He was attacked by another dog that the staff already knew was a little off-- and they still put that dog in a group with larger, energetic dogs. It was completely avoidable and showed a serious lack of judgment. To make things worse, they waited an entire day to take him to the vet and even refused to give him pain medication. If any of us were bitten and in pain, we'd expect immediate care. Why should it be any different for a dog? We have boarded our dogs here for years, but after seeing how this situation was handled -- with zero urgency, care, or professionalism -- we're done. We won't be returning. read more

I boarded my dog Rallo here for the 2nd time from June 11-16. The first time was fine, but this 2nd experience was absolutely horrifying. Rallo was attacked by another dog, and the way the situation was handled was nothing short of negligent and inhumane. I received a call saying the injury was "minor" and that they were cleaning it and applying a topical antibiotic. They completely minimized the situation. The next day, I get another call saying Rallo isn't letting them clean the wound, and they think it might be infected and that he could be in pain. Only then did they decide to take him to a vet -- far too late. At the vet, he was prescribed antibiotics and anti-inflammatories -- but no pain meds. I later found out that Charla, the owner of the facility, personally declined pain medication. When I took Rallo for his follow-up, both the vet tech and the doctor confirmed that she made that decision. Not only did she wait too long to get him seen, but she also chose to let him suffer without proper pain relief. That is not just unprofessional -- it's cruel and inhumane. When Rallo was picked up, I was shocked by how bad the wound actually was. It was far worse than what they had described over the phone. He clearly should have been taken to the vet immediately after the attack. On top of that, when I asked the staff when his last dose of medication was given, no one had a clue. How do you not track or document a dog's medical care after a traumatic injury? I contacted Charla directly with my concerns and questions. Her response? Zero accountability, zero professionalism, zero empathy. Just a bunch of excuses and defensiveness. When I asked why she refused the pain meds, she claimed the vet was "trying to overmedicate" and that she only went to that clinic because it was close by. That doesn't justify denying basic care. My dog was in pain. I asked for a refund for the boarding due to the negligence , and instead of taking responsibility, she told me, "I don't like the way you're speaking to me, so I won't give you a refund." Then she added, "I'm already covering the vet bill -- do you even know how much that is?" Seriously? That's her idea of customer service after my dog was injured in her care? The staff also casually told me the dog that attacked Rallo was just "weird" -- as if that makes it okay. Clearly, proper supervision and screening are not a priority here. This place is fine -- until something goes wrong. And when it does, do not expect compassion, accountability, or even basic professionalism. Avoid this place if you love your pet. My dog spent 2 nights here boarding while we went out of town, while there she caught kennel cough and now has a severe respiratory infection from it. My dog has never been this sick in her life. A panicked vet visit and $175 in medication, and she still has a week or so of recovery ahead. Don't trust them with your pet, I am sorry that I did. Update: Thanks Wuf for your reply but that does not help me one bit. Thanks to your negligence my sweet dog had to have a second panicked vet visit (and $110 later) for subcutaneous fluids to combat dehydration and a steroid shot because she can't eat or drink from the kennel cough. Day Care: My wife & I love knowing when we drop off our Rough Collie, Apollo, he's going to be in great hands. He runs into the building and immediately runs to the back with one of your great staff members ready to play. He comes home exhausted with a smile in his face :) Side note, we enjoy watching the cameras through out the day that are available to access via the website while we're working and seeing all the dogs have fun. Boarding: We only boarded him once for a week, but he enjoyed it so much when we picked him up he didn't even show that he missed us. We even think he wanted to stay another week. A good place for dog grooming! This place is located around the Irving area !!! This was our first time taking our baby here for grooming. I usually use to take my boy to another grooming spot before and was always unhappy with his groom. I m happy that I spotted this place. I booked an appointment before going to the place to be safe they do even accept walk-ins if they are available. Before dropping my boy off for his grooming. They ask you what you want and listen to exactly how I pictured him. I'm happy with the results by the time of pickup, he was all clean and smelled good. The staff was fantastic and could tell they genuinely love the dogs and greet them so enthusiastically. They even have a daycare and boarding available too. The facilities are clean, spacious, and well thought out. Prices for the service are reasonable. They have indoor and outdoor play areas. I would bring my boy here again. read more

I volunteer with Angie's Friends Rescue, and we had to board two of our dogs over the 2021 holidays. They are two 50lb plus very active puppies that are being fostered and trained with one of our trainers, but she was going to be full over the holidays. We had a horrible experience with another boarding facility in town and were very nervous boarding these two rambunctious puppies and undoing months of training at such a busy time. The puppies were so happy and relaxed when we picked them up and it was clear they had been well taken care of. I recently adopted my sweet boy Mason from a rescue and have only had him a month now! With being uncertain but still wanting him to get play time and socialize with other dogs I started to look for daycares in my area. Low and behold I found Wuf! I was such a nervous dog mom but Camila and the staff were great with him. They made sure that he was comfortable and safe during his first interactions with other dogs and have lots of fun! He had so much fun he even slept the entire evening and night! He also came back super soft and smelling like a fresh baby! On top of all this the staff kept in touch with me about Mason throughout the day. Wuf also has live feed cameras throughout the building so that you can check up on your fur baby during the day! I used to love bringing my dog here. But as shocking as this is, a mop bucket of chemicals and septic fluids was left uncovered on the play floor - My dog Cleon drank out of it (staff admitted to seeing him do it multiple times) and was subsequently diagnosed with chemical pneumonia from the ER & the ASPCA Poison Control. To say this was a nightmare is an understatement. Straight up-- I'm upset. I'm livid that a mop bucket containing dirty/septic water and chemicals was ever left accessible to animals in an establishment that cares for them. That is unjustifiable, even if the risk is small. Taking a risk of that nature is unacceptable. Any kind of caustic or corrosive material has the potential to be dangerous. I understand that there are inherent risks to boarding your dog, such as kennel cough or other viruses, as are outlined in the contract. It's like taking your kid to preschool - If they get sick, that's life. But a mop bucket of caustic & corrosive chemicals open on the play floor would not be considered an inherent risk. That's negligence. Due to the breach of contract (1-negligence & 2-not telling me my dog drank out of it), I asked for my money back and for Cleon's medical bills to be paid. I'm of the belief that if you make a mistake as a business, you make it as right as you possibly can. Charla (the owner) paid one bill, which is admittance the wrongful practice on their part, but she refuses to take responsibility for the rest. The specialist Cleon saw was able to save him through aggressive treatments and supportive care. The financial, emotional and physical fall out has still been severe. He can't run, breathe or drink like he used to, and he may never be able to again. It is worth considering that if you have been a customer of this business at any point in the last 13 years, contract has likely been breached for you, too. Charla admitted both directly & indirectly that their mop bucket policies have always been this way, saying they've "been in business for 13 years & never had a problem". What can I say!! Wuf is the ONLY place that my little princess, Libby Lu, (and yes..she is a princess) has ever been for day care and boarding during her 8-years....ever. The team at Wuf is part of our family and they watch over Libby as if she was their own. Libby is always greeted by smiles and cheers when she arrives; she has a fan base. I think she knows how to work the crowd. In terms of Wuf's service, they are always great to Libby and me. The facility is always clean; I consistently see the staff mopping and cleaning the floors. I often watch the video cams during the day and I can see when a dog does their business on the floor....very quickly the staff in the play area is over their cleaning it up and sanitizing. Libby has never come home smelling badly or dirty; so the cleanliness is credible. Her lodging is very good. She returns to the same exact room for every visit. This helps her feel a sense of home and her own space. Additionally, one time Libby was nursing a leg injury. Amber and Silma, two of the great team members at Wuf, would have Libby stay up front with them rather than being in her room alone or in daycare. She was close to them and stayed safe in their care as she healed. This was the best thing ever to me because I had to travel and my little girl was not able to be at our home and resting. She was getting 100% attention, that is for sure. Now the last piece of greatness about Wuf....they pick up and drop off at our home! Yes....this is amazing for me since I travel a great deal with my job. Having Libby at my home when I arrive from a business trip is just the best thing....!!! We've taken our male dog to Wuf for over a year now and our female dog for about 5 months (boarding, grooming and daycare), and we couldn't be happier. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and professional, and the facilities are top-notch. I love the different pricing options for boarding, too! For example, although we love the idea of the suites -- equipped with doggy beds and even web cams -- we know our dogs would prefer the coziness of a niche kennel, plus they're more in line with our budget. Daycare is very reasonable, and the fact that they're open 7 days a week, including many holidays, is a bonus. We had to attend a funeral out of town a few months ago, and it was such a relief to know that we could leave the dogs at Wuf all day and not have to worry about their welfare. In fact, our female dog is a bit of an escape artist, and we really appreciate that Wuf staff go out of their way to try and find different options to keep her safe and secure in the daycare. Our dogs consider them an extension of the "pack" and are happy to spend their days playing with their friends while their parents are at work! Oh, and even better is the fact that I can drop my dogs off for grooming, and we don't have to worry about them stuck in a crate all day (as they often are at grooming salons) while they wait their turn for a bath or groom. They can play until they're ready for their appointment, which is so much more preferable. I got referred to Wuf by my cousin who takes his dog there for doggie daycare and for boarding. I was tentative, but took my puppy Addy there to board when I had to go out of town. She was only 16 weeks so I was nervous to say the least, but she absolutely loves it! They take amazing care of her and she is always so excited to go and see her friends! (The staff and the other dogs!) They have a doggie daycare camera that allows me to check on her throughout the day to see all the fun that she is having! It also allows me to see the staff giving her attention and love which makes me happy. They give me a report card when I pick her up that lets me know her activity level, feeding habits, and who she loved playing with. They have a wonderful photographer on staff named Elissa that takes photos and posts them on their facebook page and tags me so I know when they are posted. I have saved several photos of Addy They are affordable, flexible, and most of all love my dog. I take Addy there once a week to let her romp and play which keeps us both sane :) I highly recommend Wuf Pet Resort and Spa! They will take great care of your furry family members. read more

This group of people don't get much better. Both my dogs are always so loved and well cared for. One of my pups had fallen very ill while here due to overprescribed medication. The staff took wonderful care of her and kept me updated the whole time. This pup recently passed away (due to other medical issues) and my other dog was recently boarded for the first time, alone. The staff took amazing care of her. Above and beyond that, they took the time to each write a personal note in a sympathy card for my husband and I. I was so touched. I couldn't believe it. I do like the staff here a lot but the owners are pretty unreasonable. If you take your dog to boarding and then pick them up before 1, they won't let you put them in the day care for that half day. My dog also had rolled in poop 3 times so far and the owner's policy is that under their watch if they do that then we have to pay for a bath from the groomers there. The staff there was nice enough to wash him off a bit but obviously that doesn't take away the smell. I am disappointed here because it's costing me more in grooming then it is leaving my dog at the day care. read more

They seem friendly and clean enough. My dog is a wallflower and even thought they act like she's the best thing ever when I come in, I never see (on the cameras) any employee trying to engage her into socializing or even paying attention to her. Kind of sad:( And the groomer charges way too much for her services. I didn't make an appointment, but asked if my dog could get a bath one day. Not only was she put in crate all day in a back room (no play time), I was charged $24 for a bath!!?? Plus I felt obligated to tip, so that's just WAY too much for a bath and then had to pay the $22 for daycare and she didn't get to play and was in a cage all day! AND when I take her to doggie daycare, they put the dogs up for 2 hours during 'nap/lunch' time. C'mon, if I left her there for 10 hrs a day, that charge might be worth it. But I'm only gone for 4-6 hours. They charge way too much money for what you get, so unfortunately I won't be going back. And that's a shame too, because Wuf is so close to my work:( read more

yeah so Jennifer (former owner) was awesome and unfortunately no longer there. The current staff is equally great and so accommodating. I take my "Puff" there at least once a week to play and frolic with all his buddies (sometimes the little stinker hits it and runs there without me knowing). They then call and say "Hey Puff is here - Guess hes in for daycare". That being said, I totally trust and appreciate them for all they do. The staff seem very knowledgeable and genuine and grooming is always so spot on. If you have any doubts, there is a doggy cam online that you can use to see your little stinker acting the fool. I just returned from my summer vacation and left my two dogs to board at Wuf. What an amazing experience! The moment I walked in, I felt at home and welcome by the staff. The open format of the space made me feel at ease - it was beautiful and accessible! They offer top-notch suites with real pillow-top beds! I loved being able to access the web cams in the daycare area to see my babies play! Also, my babies went to the spa! Too cute! The quality of the groom was excellent! I really feel the groomer listened to what I wanted. Their prices are reasonable and all boarding prices include daycare - something I'm not used to. This business is a joke. The owner will lie to you to get you in the door. And lie to your face about your dog's stay. The business is not staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And the daycares do NOT have somebody in them all day. The employee turnover is so high here that you never know who will be taking care of your dog each week and if that person is even qaulified to be handeling dogs. No one there is licensed for dog safety. On top of the terrible customer service, there are all kinds of hidden fees. Youll save money and be more comfortable if you have a sitter watch your dog. read more

My dog has gone here in the past for grooming and daycare and they always took good care of him and he would get really excited to go. I went out of the country for a week and no other place came to mind except Wuf. I opted for an exit groom and nail trim so he came back to me clean and smelling good. Everyone was so friendly and they treated my dog like a member of the family. Their rates are competitive, and they offer several sizes of suites for boarding as well as a pick up and drop off service for an additional fee. Wuf is the absolute best! They took my 2 wild shepherds (that don't play well with others) and they gave my pups so much extra love and attention. I couldn't love this place anymore. The staff is so friendly and cares about your baby pups like they are their own. My dog came back happy as a clam and then passed out for the rest of the night. She's back now for a second time with two of her dog park friends and I'm watching them all play live on the webcam. Definitely would rate wuf 5/5 and will be back weekly for more play.
