Great place all around! I got the Connecticut lobster roll. Definitely needed an extra lemon and side of butter. Fresh tasting lobster though so that's what matters. My kids liked the shrimp salad. I would suggest adding a shrimp Louie salad to the menu as it has shrimp, crab, and thousand island dressing. That would be great as the only options for dressings are an interesting Mayo/sour cream dressing they make or balsamic and ranch packets. One downside I'd say was that the whole place was very Smokey from the toaster so if you have asthma this could be a potential issue. Hopefully they get this handled because it's not a bbq spot so it shouldn't be Smokey.

My whole family was thoroughly impressed with our visit to Masons! The butter lobster roll (Connecticut style) was absolutely perfect! The best I've had in Florida!! I loved how they toast their rolls; they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making every bite a delicious whether it's a hotdog or a lobster roll. My husband enjoyed the lobster grilled cheese, and was dipping it in the rich lobster bisque. The kids were happy too, with their hot dogs, tater tots, and mac n cheese. It was such a relief to find no line on a Saturday, and we really appreciated the outdoor seating! The only downside was the fountain drinks; the lemonade had a strange taste. We will be back!

Delicious spot! Service is super fast and we were actual able to eat outside on a nice evening at the outdoor tables the have! FINALLY a lobster rolled place in jax that has a hot roll. I am so sick of chilled rolls and have been seeking a hot buttery role for so long. This spot delivers and the size of the roll and the amount of lobster is generous compared to competitors! Will be back soon for sure!

Late lunch at Town Center and found MFLR and ordered the Classic Roll, the Connecticut Roll with an added soup of New England Clam Chowder for $1 with a side of Kettle chips and Fountain Soda. It really was delicious and tastes like real lobster but don't expect it to be a huge portion though. The service was great, Vlad and the staff really takes care of their customers. The ambiance is pretty chill, the AC really turned up from the heat outside and we encourage everyone to give them a try :) #supportlocal904

On occasion, I crave and enjoy a lobster roll; though being I live in Arizona it isn't always the best place to find a fresh one. When visiting for work at the Jacksonville office, I knew I had to try some seafood while I'm here. When getting my nails done, I noticed this place and decided my coworker who traveled with me should stop after nails for a light dinner. The Connecticut roll was very filling and tasted very fresh! The staff were friendly and the dining room was pleasant enough, though not somewhere I'd want to lounge at. Definitely more of a grab-n-go location, but definitely worth stopping by!

Mason's Famous Lobster Rolls is a good and consistent place to get your lobster fix. The price you pay for the amount of lobster you get on the roll I can't be beat, especially in today's day and age where you have to pay 40+ for a lobster roll in Boston alone. They offer a wide selection of Maine Root Soda, which is one of my favorite craft sodas. The service at this location is always friendly, and there's never a long wait.

I'm so excited to have lobster rolls served warm in town! The rolls were delicious, but the lobster bisque soup was served to me cold. Staff were kind, but tables were a bit dirty even though there weren't a lot of customers when I was there. Overall, yummy. Definitely pricey, but the roll is loaded up.

New location, first time visit. Inside is very clean. Has that New England beachy feel. Walk up to the counter, place your order, and they give you a number. In short order, they bring you your meal. Overall, a good lunch. The lobster role is very tasty. The Bar Harbor gives you more meat. I had the potato salad side. I liked that as well. Prices are in line with other similar places in town but definitely not on the scale for a regular visit. 2 sandwiches and shared one side... $60+. Will be back for special occasions.

I proudly came here knowing how amazing their first location is in Fleming island. I had a wonderful experience. Plenty of staff on hand training, my wait time for my two rolls was short, and the product was just as amazing as I remember it being when visiting their sister location. I'm happy to have a new masons lobster much closer to where I live so I can frequent this location now. I ordered one roll to eat in house, and one to go. My to go roll was wrapped perfectly to keep safe until I got home, which also included a pickle slice! I got a bottled water and was on my way. A fast and friendly service. I will be back and I love how much lobster is on each roll. The portion sizes are perfect. Happy to support this family owned and operated establishment. The customer service at both locations I've visited has always been outstanding. The restaurant is always clean and bright, and the rolls just as scrumptious as ever.

We went to Mason's close to when they were close to closing time. We were greeted by a server / cashier who accommodated us and gave great suggestions. This is new location in the Town Center with ample nearby parking lot mall parking. The restaurant was clean and had the typical quick service seafood ambience. It was empty likely because they were almost closing for the evening. We ordered the Connecticut as well as the classic rolls with the lobster bisque. Everything tasted great at home as we didn't have enough time to enjoy it at the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for a quick bite when next you are shopping in the Town Center.

While on land and fresh from the sea...Masons Lobster is where you want to be! Here one can enjoy fresh and savory lobster rolls, lobster bisque, just to name a few of their delicious menu items. I enjoyed on my first visit the classic lobster roll, crab roll and side of lobster bisque! Yummy in my tummy! This new Masons Lobster is conveniently located in Saint Johns Town Center with plenty of parking available. The interior and outdoor seating area is clean and comfy to try their great food. Owners and staff are super friendly and professional. I'm already looking forward to many more visits to treat myself!

I went 2 days in a row because the lobster roll was that good! I enjoyed the Connecticut roll it had really tender lobster meat and a buttered roll that was sooo good. It's actually quite filling as well! The prices are on the higher end but imagine that has more to do with their prime location in the Town Center and sourcing their lobster from Maine. Overall, I would recommend you give them a try and see for yourself!

Though the parking lot was busy, I was sat immediately and noticed they were not too busy on a Friday night 7:30pm - likely an indicator of the experience to come. Kaitlyn was very friendly in greeting and throughout the meal. She was obviously the only bright spot on this experience, since you see the star rating. The soda lacked carbonation in the coke, so I mentioned it tasting off to me. I switched to an Orange Fanta, and that too lacked carbonation. Ended up just eating my spicy crab combo with no drink. Which thankfully, spicy is no where near spicy at this location. Medium at best if you order spicy. Genuinely let down, especially since it is ONE cluster for $38.99. Definitely felt this was a skip, and then was shocked when the bill came... As a party of one, I was charged automatic gratuity of 12%, which is bewildering to me. Larger parties? Totally get it! But a party of one, which I was shocked but they do list on the menu of prices. I almost tipped 20% on top of the bill, until I was looking into why it was higher than I expected. Additionally, $4.99 for a soda that doesn't even have the syrup and carbonation properly calibrated?! Wowza, what a letdown for $50+ for dining alone. If you are in Jacksonville, you are surrounded by lots of good seafood places. Big crab? Personally, a pass for me.
