They called the number and handed me the bag, all wrapped up, I bicycled a mile and a half back to my house to enjoy it. Ha, I should have checked the bag in the store, they only put the French fries in the bag, the jokes on me, I can't go back because its closed off to cars now. Thanks for nothing, very disappointing. Follow up, I came back the next day. Management stepped up big time and made everything right! They doubled my order and gave an extra coupon for a 3rd Lobster sandwich, which are delicious! Genuinely the worst experience I've had. Firstly, You have to order standing up, to follow, the prices are $25+ for a mid tier at best single liner roll, with SHELLS inside. Then they have the audacity to ask for a tip? Ambiance is artificial, fast casual, would never return to any masons location ever. Came across this place while visiting long branch beach. They have great service. Lots of seating space. Went out of season so parking was easy. Got the warm lobster roll and it was delicious. It was good, but was it famous? I'm not too sure. It was very expensive. The shrimp roll was very strange. It was just six large shrimp in a bun. Not what we expected. I got the lobster on top of a salad, which was good, but I would've preferred the lobster to be mixed with mayonnaise, like a lobster salad. The crab roll was packed with crab meat and the bread roll itself was soo good but it definitely needs seasoning it's very bland. Got the new england clam chowder soup as well. I had high hopes but the lobster rolls are very overpriced for what they are. They were average taste wise but very small and didn't come with sides. I have had many lobster rolls so when comparing this to my other experiences it just really didn't stand out or feel like it was worth the price tag. Lobster bisque not as pictured. Shows pieces of lobster floating on top. No lobster pieces at all. Everything ground up. Crab roll was like a glorified tuna salad. Didn't even taste like crabmeat. There was so much mayonnaise that the "crab" got lost. The lobster roll was good. For the price, I was not impressed and I was actually embarrassed as I took this meal home after I heard great things about this place. This place was fantastic. I placed an online order to go and it asked if I wanted pickles. Confused if they were going in the food, I selected no to all of them but the last with a little note that if they're on the side I'd like them with all of them. I got Three Bar Harbor Connecticut Lobster Rolls, one as a combo with a cup of Lobster Bisque with extra meat, A Lobster Grilled Cheese, and a Lobster Mac and Cheese. They gave me six pickle spears (1/4 of a pickle) all individually wrapped in an individual box, they were great! Very good attention to detail, making sure to handle my order with the care that goes beyond. While I did not spend long in the actual place, it was huge and very spacious. Incredibly clean, the staff were smiling, chipper, and very attentive. They got me in and out in under 15 seconds, and I appreciate that as it was incredibly busy outside, and as someone from NY coming for this specifically, at 8:30 at night for a large order placed half an hour before, I think that was great! As for the food, this is where the star was taken from. The lobster rolls were crispy, buttery, and nice, but a bit soft and squishy on the inside. I mostly had the food when I went back home/the next day, but even the bit I had right there was just a little squishy. That was half a star. Mostly a personal gripe, but a gripe none the less. The lobster itself was fantastic, there was enough in there with the extra $6 worth where I could have made two entirely extra sandwiches on the tail and some of the original meat. That's a lot of meat! Well worth $26, very much the beat value lobster roll I've ever seen/had, and I live on Long Island where seafood is customary on the north/south shores! If I ordered two extra rolls (I forgot two) I'd have food enough for two full days! My only gripe (and this was where the other 1/2 star was lost) was that there was one of the white pieces from the claw in the roll, as well as a couple tiny pieces of shell. Small enough that it wouldn't cause a problem to eat, but I feel that this should have been prepared a little more carefully to avoid in the first place. The lobster bisque was delicious! It wasn't overly meaty so every bite had lobster, but at that point it wouldn't be a soup in the first place. The soup itself was very soft, smooth, and velvety, and the taste was great as well. If I could say one change, maybe with the extra meat add one or two more small pieces of lobster, as I feel that wasn't worth the extra $4 for extra meat. I ended up adding some from the rolls and that was fine. Not pictured, the cup was filled to the brim but stayed tightly packed and perfectly encased. The grilled cheese and mac and cheese were eaten today, and I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture. The grilled cheese were two pieces of white bread with a healthy portion of meat and cheese in between. It was buttery, crispy, the meat was soft and the cheese was there in every bite, even after being in the microwave it shined. The pasta was cooked well, there was tons of cheese in it, the lobster was cooked to the same standards as everything else and thrown in at the end, and there was enough of everything to fee worth $15. I feel a lobster roll, a lobster bisque, and either a grilled cheese or mac and cheese would have been a perfect meal. There's plenty of flavor, and together they are very filling. The lobster bisque and the mac and cheese are encased in a strong layer of tin foil, do not spill, and stay warm hours later. I went to the National Harbor one in 2022 and have been dreaming about it since. This was a very fine substitution, and much closer to home. If this chain was in Nassau County Long Island I would go weekly, but this is a fine alternative to Maryland, and I'm very happy it's there. read more

I was a little disappointed. Going down the shore I look forward to having a delicious lobster roll. This however wasn't it. I remember having it last summer and it being pretty good. This time I had it, the lobster was almost rubbery and the fries were terrible. I'm giving 3 stars because the workers were so sweet and kind. The bathroom was also very clean. I know it can get dirty with beach goers but it wasn't which was nice. read more
