Omar has no idea what he is doing. Omar is the worst home inspector. Never ever hire this guy. He is clueless, stupid buffoon and temperamental. Where do I start? My agent recommended Omar for home inspection. I have never seen anyone as unfit for their role as Omar. He is clueless. He missed obvious things that home inspector should have caught. Second, he was in hurry. He had to travel back to city to avoid traffic? What a joke. I paid this garbage shithole money to do inspection. To be honest, you could pick anyone from street and I guarantee that person will do better job than this garbage person. He is illiterate. He has zero idea about home or home inspection. Second, when you ask him questions, he becomes angry, frustrated, temperamental. Again, what is the job of home inspector. To answer the questions and concerns of their customers. My husband and I are first time home buyers and we recently had Omar do a home inspection for us. He took a lot of time going over the home, and just as much time walking us through everything he was inspecting. We really did appreciate this, there was a lot of information about potential risks and regular maintenance that we learned from him. He also helped us put the inspection reports in context, explaining when something might become a concern, the time frame where it would become problematic, and the options to fix it. His report was very clear and thorough. It also included information about the routine maintenance and checks that need to be done going forward, so I imagine we'll be referring back to his report long after we've purchased the home. He has also been very responsive after the inspection, when we had questions he responded very quickly to texts and then also followed up with us by calling. He was able to book a fairly last minute inspection for us and then arrived early and had the outside of the house finished/inspected by the time we arrived. As soon as we arrived, he gave us a thorough explanation of any potential exterior issues. When we went inside he continued a very thorough and informative inspection. This was truly equal parts inspection and "new home tutorial." Omar is a great inspector to use. I've used him a of couple times so far, and each time he was extremely thorough. He takes his time and makes sure he checks every single item. He will also take the time to explain anything that you are unfamiliar with. This last inspection, there was an issue with the attic ventilation. His detailed inspection of the attic space, exposed the issue which I brought to the sellers attention. The seller was very receptive towards fixing this problem. Talking with friends and family who have recently purchased houses, I feel not all home inspectors would have found this issue. Omar and Jose were very thorough with the home inspection, walking us through the whole process in detail. As first time home buyers, it was such a relief to have inspectors that educated us on all areas of our house. They even quizzed us as we went on some of things they taught us, to make sure that we weren't missing anything.
