I don't live in Indian Wells, but visit there often with my family. My mom and I love good deep tissue massages and find that most of the hotels and spas are overly pricey for a lack luster massage. I brought my mom out to Indian Wells in July for her birthday and researched and found Yesi online. Yesi is truly amazing! Not only are her prices dramatically cheaper than hotels/spas, but she does magic with her hands. My mom and I both got massages. I didn't even have to tell Yesi where my problem areas were, she just felt and told me exactly where I was hurting. My mom and I have had countless massages in our lives and both of us to this day say that Yesi is by far the best. I also want to mention that I have problems with my wrists cracking and pain in my forearms due to working a lot on the computer and also cake decorating. I told Yesi about this and she stripped my forearms (I believe that's what she called it). It was a deep tissue type arm massage and stretching of my wrists. It felt good while she was doing it, but I had a little pain and swelling for the next few days. It has been 6 months since she did this, and I have had absolutely no pain since! I am amazed. The highlight of my trip every year to Palm Desert. I don't Yelp much, but I felt like this deserved one. I'm 6'5", years and years of contact sports and work has put a toll on my back and body. So it's a big treat for a good 90 minute massage every year. If she was in Orange County I would be going once a month. I've been to plenty of those cheesy $25 reflexology massage places, and the fancy $300+ fancy massage resorts. It's about the person massaging you. She's smart, been doing it forever, and has that magic touch. I think I woke myself up snoring about 4 times! Haha!!! So awesome!! I have been a client of Yesi for the last three years and I can honestly say she is hands down "The best" massage therapist in the Coachella Valley. A few months back I was having some trouble with Shin Spilnts in my lower legs and was afraid that I would not be able to train properly for an upcoming marathon. I reviewed the various massage options in the area and settled on Massage by Yeisi and made an appointment with Becky for a hot stone massage for 1 1/4 hours. It was FABULOUS. I have had many massages in many locations and this was the BEST. Becky was very conscious of asking me if the rocks were the right temp and if her pressure was right. She asked me questions about my pain and locations and after a few minutes we decided to spend the entire time on my back, shoulders and neck. Yesi did a great job doing a deep tissue massage of those areas and worked hard to break up the knots. I felt much better after the massage. Yesi herself may very well be a good masseuse, but I ended up with a massage with what turned out, I think, to be a young lady in training. She was somewhat shy and awkward. I suppose it was intended to be the fluffy type of spa massage where the masseuse has a routine she goes through but doesn't really stop long if she finds a knot. I was wishing for the real thing, however, which will actually release muscle spasms. I left still feeling sore and feeling energetically worse due to the awkward unfriendly masseuse who could barely make eye contact before or after the massage. The massage gets 1 star but I will give the extra one because Yesi clearly tries hard to provide good customer service. read more

I was very disappointed with the massage here. The woman who gave me the massage wasn't the owner (who most of these reviews are for). I think she was uncomfortable giving a massage. I paid full price, while it seemed the masseuse was inexperienced or an intern. Yesi was very patient helping me find the place, though. Best massage of my life. No, I am not exaggerating. Yesi is very talented and has picked a line of work that she seriously excels in. I have had massages at some of the top spas/resorts around the country, Yesi is by far the best.
