This is the worst location ever. I had a massage with Amber who use some type of oil that completely broke me out. The massage was basic at best. Call to discuss the matter with the manager who said her name was Jasmine. Her advice was to go to my physician. So I advised I have been in touch with my physician. Not once did she state she would investigate or ask the masseuse what she used. She became irate because I wanted the number to corporate office and she became irate and stated " There is nothing else I can offer you other than go see the doctor and take some Benadryl " and hung up the phone. I will file a complaint with corporate and find the franchise owner to let them know how their business is being ran. She is the reason the ratings for this location is so terrible. Hello, I had the worst customer experience with Massage Envy-College Park MD. Here is my story!! I have been requesting since April 2025 not having a heated bed for my services. I have been proactive with the Mgr.- Dana prior to my sessions and when I arrive reminding him and the Ass. Mgr. Dachaney no heated bed. 5/30/25 prior to my sessions starting I spoke with Ass. Mgr and she assured me the bed would not be heated for my facial and massage. The bed for my facial had been on for over an hour prior to my service OMG! The facial was not pleasant due to the heated bed; I was so disappointed. The bed was appropriate for my massage; this was the first time I was able to enjoy my massage since my original request in April. I had the worst customer service experience with Jasmine Esquire. Jasmine was disrespectful and rude in front of Assistant Mgr. Dachaney, Massage Therapist Olivia, and Esthetician Arjahnay. I was having a conversation with Assistant Mgr. regarding my preference to not have a heated bed, Jasmine interrupted me twice while I was speaking with the Ass. Mgr. Jasmine continued the disrespect, after my appointment she refused to check me out after I finished my services. I asked her about filing a complaint and she boldly said, "you can call Dana, make sure you have my correct name Jasmine Esquire". Olivia and Arjahnay were so apologetic. I scheduled (2) 60-minute massage appointments at Massage Envy Cedar Hill for 1P on August 5, 2023 for my friend's birthday. We were super excited about spending some time at the spa to celebrate her special day. On the morning of our appointments, I got a text from my disappointed friend stating that she was just notified that her appointment was cancelled because the therapist was out sick. When I called to speak with someone, I asked if they had anyone else that could do her massage or if we could get an appointment for the following week and of course they were completely booked. I was told that her appointment was cancelled, but they would see me at 1P. I informed them that I would not be coming as this was intended to be a girls day at the spa for my friend's birthday. The associate told me that there would be a $25.00 cancellation fee. I asked to speak to the manager and I was transferred to Amber. Before, I could even discuss my concern, she stated that she was aware of the situation and I would not be charged any cancellation fee. Further, she said that she had spoken with the business manager, Brian Page, before he left. If the management team was aware of this situation, why were they not proactive in finding a viable solution to this situation? They did not any real effort to fix the situation so that my best friend could have her relaxing day at the spa. I have been to different Massage Envy's on multiple occasions and never have I been so exasperated by them. My friend and i have an appointment at The Sandford House Spa in Arlington, TX to once again try to celebrate her birthday. A 5 star location is one which can provide 5 star service at ALL times! As long as there are no issues this place is cool, but let there be a hiccup & you'll see they are simply there to take your money with a smile. Took me a while to become a member, once I did I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk reps they had when they first opened were incredibly kind & my massage therapist is awesome! Management cannot seem to keep a consistent front desk staff. None of the original staff are there now & cannot take care of any concerns. I booked an appointment with them over one month ago for a facial and a massage, less than one hour before my scheduled facial appt, I received a voice msg saying they'll have to rescheduled my facial because they didn't have products to complete my facial! This is piss poor customer service, I received a text reminder at 8AM about my appt @3PM, didn't they know at that time they were out of facial products? Gas is over $4.25 a gal, I don't have the time to be driving this darn far for nothing! I requested a transfer from my Tempe Arizona home location to this one (since I'm no longer in AZ), it's been over two months and they can't seem to get the gotdamn request processed! You can't reach anyone from mgmt on the phone, I've left numerous messages but to no avail! I have been a member for two and a half years and have never seen the same person more than once working the reception desk. Since I go once a month, that would be a total of thirty months with at least two people working the front. The staff was very friendly and because this is a membership program, you don't feel pushed to get a membership. They handle it in a way that is very tactful. They were very attentive. We were pleased with the therapy but would have liked it to last a little longer. I brought up to management that the session was 60 minutes but it was cut off at 50 minute marker. At the end of my annual agreement; I had 4 unused sessions. I cancelled my membership within the timeframe required and I was STILL charged the membership the following month!!! I believe this is VERY unethical and they do not even follow the terms of their own agreement. At cancellation; I was asked why I did not want to renew- I simply stated the fact that "because it was simply at the end of my 12 month term". The lady was extremely rude, she almost would not "accept" my reason for not renewing. I WANT MY MONEY BACK for the SEPTEMBER DRAFT!!!! So, I now have FIVE sessions to use within 60 days....when it was obvious that I barely used 8 in a 12 month period. I was a member there years ago. I called requesting two therapist, one was no longer there and the other one did not have availability. Therefore, I informed the front staff I needed a deep tissue therapist. The lady said Jordan does deep tissue work so then I requested Jordan and her availability. Appointment set! After arriving for the appointment, I was informed the manager switched me to another therapist who did not even remotely do deep tissue work. The managers explanation for switching was that Jordan was training and that it was not a requested appointment. The business practices of this place are certainly very questionable. I called in for copies of my receipts to provide to my HSA company. I was informed that I had been charged for a massage that I did not have two days prior. I am not a member, and did not schedule a follow up when I left. However, there is one employee who is pretentious and very condescending. Heather is her name. I had questions regarding my contract and during our tense exchange, she called me "dear" with the venom of the State Park rattle snakes just down the street. I referred to her by her name throughout our conversation. I'm 50+ years old, at least 20-25 years her senior. Diversity training or termination is the appropriate response to handling this infraction with Heather. Diversity training because the population of Cedar Hill is predominantly African-American, female, and over 40. Culturally speaking, African American women do not respond positively to being called anything other than our names. Heather needs to know this. read more

I was very pleased with the experience, just like I have always been with the Irving location I had injured my lower back the same morning, and had a rough time working out at the gym. they did get my in on very short notice..... I was sore when I left but it became clear that she had almost completely addressed my lower back issue and definitely shortened the time it would have taken for me to get back to normal.. The second appointment was on our anniversary and they didn't even have record of our appointment even though I got a phone call reminder.
