I made an appointment online about a week in advance for my grandmother's birthday. I booked a relaxation massage along with a foot scrub massage. When selecting a massage therapist for the requested time, I was given the option of choosing between a man and a woman. I specifically chose the woman because I knew my grandmother would feel more comfortable with a female therapist. The following day, I received a phone call from the location asking about my grandmother's areas of concern. We discussed what she was looking for and also went over the cancellation policy and fees. Everything seemed perfectly fine, so we were looking forward to her appointment. When we arrived on the day of the appointment, however, the experience took an unexpected turn. The massage therapist looked at my grandmother and immediately said, "Oh no, I can't touch her. I don't want to hurt her. I'm the strongest deep tissue massage therapist here." She then went to the front desk and said that they should have known beforehand. I completely understand that a therapist needs to be cautious and make sure a client can safely receive a massage. However, the way this situation was handled was very upsetting, especially because we had already discussed my grandmother's needs with the location during the follow-up call. At that point, I also no longer felt comfortable having this particular therapist work on my grandmother. I was prepared to cancel the appointment and leave. I was extremely disappointed because this location is out of our way, and we specifically chose it because of its cleanliness and the positive experiences we have had here in the past. Then Nataly stepped in, and she completely changed the experience. She overheard what was happening while she was already off for the day and approached us at the front desk. Without hesitation, she offered to take my grandmother last minute. Nataly went completely above and beyond. She was incredibly patient, gentle, caring, and attentive with my grandmother. She made her feel comfortable and treated her with such kindness and respect. Most importantly, my grandmother ended up having a wonderful experience and was very happy with her massage. Nataly truly turned what started as a very disappointing and unprofessional experience into a positive one. This would have been a 1 star review if it wasn't for Nataly. We are so thankful that she stepped in when she did. She was truly an angel to us that day. Another plus is that Nataly is bilingual, which is wonderful and made the experience even more comfortable for clients who prefer communicating in Spanish. If we return to this location, we will absolutely be requesting Nataly. She is the kind of employee who deserves recognition for her compassion, professionalism, and willingness to go above and beyond for a customer. I've been seeing Ivy for almost a year now, and she has been consistently wonderful every single time. She is kind, attentive, and very respectful. Before each session, she takes the time to ask about my problem areas and makes sure to focus on them, which I truly appreciate. I just tried Massage Envy in Diamond Bar for the first time last week. It is on Grand Ave. and Diamond Bar Blvd. (next to Waba Grill). I got a Massage Envy gift card from my hubby so I first tried their 60-minute body massage. The staff at the front desk were friendly. The ambiance was modern, clean, beautiful, and relaxing. My therapist did an amazing job and I enjoyed my massage. I liked that they had a "report card" for today's visit. I knew that I had muscle tension and she also found my trigger points or knots. She mainly focused on my upper back and hips or gluteal region because I had some pain in those areas. I requested a medium-pressure massage and it was so comfortable and relaxing indeed. 60 minutes went by so fast. I tried their 60-minute customized facial session today and the one who helped me was called Melissa and she did a great job. I requested a moisturizing or hydrating and anti-aging facial and she suggested some retinol products. $75 for newcomers and you pay $125 next time for non-members. It's a bit pricey. However, if you join their membership package, you will save $50 each time. They have 6 months or 12 months packages. read more

I came in feeling sore from many miles walked at a car show. Lower back and hips were very sore and stiff. I had an appointment with Madeline, for a 30 min. stretching session and an hour massage right after. I highly recommend the stretching before a massage. What a difference! Madeline constantly asked about my pain level through each different stretch and adjusted accordingly. I felt like a new man afterwards! Leaving another review because I have to give credit where credit is due. I've recently had a chance to try out different massage therapists who provided me with deep tissue massages, and both were great! Ralph is wonderful at targeting certain pressure points, suggesting stretches where needed, and also focusing on supplementary areas that may be contributing to my aches and pains. He's very knowledgeable and checks in frequently to ensure each tension area is released before moving on. My mobility improved instantly! Today, I had an amazing experience with Rohnda! At first, I mentioned that my neck and shoulders were giving me the worst problems, but after assessing me, Rohnda knew I would benefit greatly from a full-body massage and CBD treatment. Her deep pressure was exactly what I needed to relieve my stiff neck and shoulders, and her technique on my hands and arms was the best. She also helped to loosen my glutes and hamstrings. I got a Massage Envy gift card from my mother in law, so I decided to come here again. I really enjoyed the massage from Mary! She did a great job and asked if I was comfortable or in pain or if I wanted more pressure. She mainly focused on my lower back. I requested light pressure, and it was so relaxing I was about ready to fall asleep. Front desk was super nice and helpful! Thank you to whoever helped me today, you were so nice and welcoming! She mentioned to my therapist that I had a long day at work, so that was sweet. After my appt, the front desk gave me directions and recommendations for what I should do moving forward. She recommended to hydrate and do a epsom salt bath. The only thing about my experience was that I wasn't told that it was technically 50 minute hands on massage for the 60 minute appointment. I thought it was a full on 60 minutes, but the front desk clarified that was not the case. She said 50 minute massage for 60 min appt and 80 minute massage for 90 minute appt. Anyways, now I know. I have been a member of Massage Envy for many years. I started using this location when appointments at my old location were scarce. eventually I was assigned to Mary, and she became my favorite gobto massage therapist. she has excellent and insightful technique and always gets into the right trigger points. she is almost always booked out a week or two, and some days when she is off I book with anyone free. This week she was unavailable, so I did a bit of research on Yelp,and got a few recommendations....I then grabbed a massage with Natalie. I found her to be another excellent therapist--able to dig into those trigger points and really give another perfect massage. She can do any pressure level and though I try to stay on the firm side of medium pressure, She could go for deeper pressure when asked. I liked that she asked for feedback frequently. So both of these therapists gave me relaxing, therapeutic,and tension melting massages. I now have a bit more choice when booking. My first massage was over 35 years ago...it was an incredible massage-- and needed after days of skiing. I can still remember the other 4-5 perfect massages and where I got them...Both Mary and Natalie rank up there with the best. read more

If you like firm yet relaxing massages like I do, here's my personal experience with 2 of the massage therapists: NELLY : Nelly has taken care of me for the longest! At least once a month for a year or more. She has the most gentle and caring heart and it comes out in her massages! She is one of the sweetest and her massage style feels being cared for by loving hands. Genuinely recommend Nelly for amazingly relaxing and caring massage style. IVY: Ivy is an artist. She has a very deep and expert touch with her massage style, which feels like she is reading the language of the body and answering its calls. I didn't even leave the building before I had to sit down to write this. I was greeted by Flor amd her smile so i knew that this was going to be the best decision I made today. The new remodel is beautiful. Purple is my favorite color so I particularly like the color scheme. Everything was clean and the vibe drew you into relaxation as soon as the door closed behind me. The heated beds and dim lights completed the package for me. I just had a 90 minute massage with Shawn and his hands are magic! I told him that I prefer deep tissue and that I had knots that needed attention and it was on after that. If you this is you, please ask for Shawn. He specializes in all the pressures and I'm not afraid of intense. Every move was about taking care of me and making sure I was comfortable. I have been a member here for over nine years... I have always loved it... until recently. My massage therapist is wonderful, as most of the front desk staff are as well. However, last month, a member of the desk staff checked me out while I was still in a massage session and charged my credit card without my authorization and then ended her shift and left. I was really surprised when I went to check out because I planned on using a gift card for any money due. I complained to the manager the following day and she corrected the issue and said she would be meeting with the employee to discuss the matter. Fast forward.... I went back tonight and that same desk employee was working. Her name is Margo and she was wearing an inappropriate amount of make up and is less friendlier than other staff members. I was surprised to see she still had a job after what she did. She used my credit card without my authorization or even my presence. How is this not a violation of Massage Envy policy? This place has changed and is not being managed as well as it use to be. I only keep my membership because I love my therapist Ivy so much. If she was to leave, I would discontinue my membership for sure. I have several family members who have a membership and only stay for Ivy. Think twice before joining this location. I booked a same day appointment super last minute after work, and had the best 60 minute light massage done by Amanda. She was so kind, gentle and accommodating. I loved the way the service was the second I walked in. I was acknowledged, brought to the relaxing dim waiting room and was asked if I needed water or anything. I must say that most of my experiences here have been overwhelmingly positive. I do miss my favorite masseuse, Latia. I am having fun exploring new masseuses though. My favorite is Blanca but our schedules rarely align these days. I've seen Alyssa and Mary and enjoy them both. They offer a stamp card that allows you to earn free massages. You get one stamp for every appointment that you book. I have so many massages banked, I booked 4 appointments but they only let me get 1 stamp. In the past I've been able to get 1 stamp per service booked but during this appointment a lady (whom I'm never seen before) said that they needed to make sure I actually showed up to the other appointments. I've moved to Downey and keep coming back to this location because the service is so much better! I love their incentive program and the overall ambience and nice! It's easy to book and they have some really great COVID protocols. You walk in and do a self-temperature check by the door. They direct you to the restroom to wash your hands and you are immediately taken to your room. Overall everyone has been friendly and I generally have very positive experiences when I come here. read more

I've been going to this Massage Envy in Diamond Bar since they opened and at one point my wife even worked here. It's disappointing to see that their service and commitment to their members has declined so grossly. The number of times they cancel at the last minute has left me with a huge number of massage "credits" and the management doesn't care. I asked several times for a return call and the manager doesn't call me back. Talk about failed customer service. Seems they are completely content to charge me for massages I cant use because the therapist cancels so regularly. Nothing like waiting 3 weeks for an appointment only to be canceled on and then have to wait another 3 weeks to find an opening. I strongly recommend that you not experience this level of frustration. read more

After having gone to one session with both, I booked them twice a month for the last two months and will continue doing so going forward.
