I purchased a one hour massage on Groupon for this place about two weeks ago. I called for an appointment as soon as I bought it because I've read yelp reviews saying that it takes a few weeks to book an appointment. I was able to make one ten days later. My experience with this place is amazing compared to the other places I've been to. My massage therapist, Michelle, was extremely personable and I felt very comfortable with her. I've been to Massage Envy and other massage places where I didn't feel connected to them and I felt like they just wanted to sell me their products and have me book another appointment. This place was so professional, clean, and warm. They get straight to the point and do not try to be sleazy and sell you things. If you come here for a massage that is what they will give you. Michelle worked on my shoulders for the hour because I dealt with a ton of shoulder pain and she knew just what to do and how much pressure to apply. I think that you shouldn't be afraid to communicate with your therapist if you want to have a good experience. The entire massage hour was fun because I communicated with the therapist and we talked and it was a great experience overall. She hit all the right muscles and I left the place feeling so relaxed. Stumbled upon Life Bodyworks through the power of Groupon. Though it was difficult to schedule an appointment for my husband and I, it was also good news to know they were busy. Messages left on off days were promptly returned within a few hours. Always a great sign at an establishment when they're always booked, which shows services must be great. And THAT they are ! Almost difficult to locate them because of the construction going on at the time we were there (2nd weekend of June) but office is clean and organized. Massage was amazing ! Kinks in my shoulder were gone, lower back was loosened. Both my husband and I were relaxed by the time we left. Donuts, Water and a Keurig was also provided. This is also a chiropractic office, which is so convenient if you need additional adjustments or treatments. Love how they are open on Saturdays ! Stumbled accross Life Body Works through Groupon and decided to check it out. Purchased an hour Sweedish Massage. The check in process was quick, friendly office staff, my masseuse Wei did a great job getting the knotts out of my shoulders and neck. I also liked the scalp massage and overall had a good experience. The only recommendation I would recommend is that they add some questions to their pre-massage questioner that asks about trouble/pain areas and the amount of pressure the client would like. I personally like alot of pressure but for others who like a lighter pressure, it would be helpful. I got a prenatal massage done and I showed up on time and had to fill out some new patient paperwork. My appointment was at 12 .. the therapist didn't come see me till 12:12 & I had to undress for my massage . So let's say we started at 12:15. My Groupon was for a one hour massage and she finished me at 12:57. I didn't get my full hour which was extremely disappointing. I wanted to say something to her but I just don't like feeling rude. They have several therapist on hand so if you don't like one you can try others and see who is a good fit for you. I don't like to judge a massage place based on a single experience especially if they have multiple therapists that you can work with. My first session was with Aileen and I didn't really like the experience. She used her phone for the "calming music" and intermittently the commercials would come on. The room she placed me in was not dimmed down and I just felt like we didn't sync well together even though the massage was decent. I really enjoy the front desk customer service which is really where my 5 start rating comes in. Janessa is super sweet and accommodating. She really makes an effort to make everyone feel welcome. Her attitude is always positive and that's such a great vibe to have especially when you're coming to a place to relax and enjoy. You need to book in advance bc they do get busy. Also they have a nice chiropractor on hand if you need some adjustments. Right now the whole plaza is going through some construction so the outside doesn't look that nice. However inside is completely different so remember not to judge from what you see on the outside. read more

I found this great deal on Groupon for a massage and chiropractic care and couldn't resist buying it. Needless to say, I am so happy I did because Chalise did an extraordinary job giving me a massage. She asked me questions regarding my health before we began, which I greatly appreciated, and she asked me how the pressure was or if I was hurting throughout the massage. I discovered this establishment luckily by Groupon. I am glad to have stumbled upon such a great local massage place. I have done massages at several places for deep tissue, traditional thai, and at spas. My last visit was by far my best massage I have ever received thanks to Aaron. He truly had a sense of how much pressure to add, and was really good at getting those tight knots. I highly recommend if you want some a massage that really gets at those tricky places, yet still be very soothing and relaxing: Ask for Aaron. I'd give it 5 stars, but my first massage was not as great with another therapist. Also, the blankets they cover you with are pretty warm. I would either increase the AC in the room, or use lighter sheets. At least during the summer. Scheduling was easy, if they missed my call they'd call back fairly quickly. Great experience at this place. I booked two massages about few months apart and both were easy to make. The front desk attendants are very friendly on the phone and in person. No hassles at all checking in. I didn't have a memorable experience with the first masseuse back in June. She couldn't apply the pressure that I asked on me therefore it's not therapeutic to me. I am so frustrated with this place, it took so many phone calls to get a life one on the phone. When I finally get an appointment then they call and cancel me twice. My groupon is almost expired and I still don't have an appointment. They always say their therapist is sick. Well, hire a healthy one for goodness sake. I had an excellent massage today with Angela ( I think that's her name). Since it was my first visit, she gave me a little of everything- hot stone, suction cup ( room temp), claw( I think that's the name)- there were some other devices but I don't recall the name. I decided to do a full body with a bit more emphasis on my legs. The hour went by quickly. I felt a little woozy after. Angela said it's due to the release of the lactic acid. I bought 3 more sessions for $210. My one negative would be that I was unable ,through yelp or internet search, to find the price of a massage. I bought the first one through LivingSocial. Had a great experience today at lifebodyworks! I stumbled upon this gem via Groupon and I'm so glad I did. This is actually a chiropractic office so it is very clean and professional inside. They have coffee and candy and water for you to enjoy while you wait. My masseuse's name was Karen. She had just started working here, but had years of experience. She made a point to talk to me about what I do for a living and if I had any concern areas to work on today. Then she left the room for me to get in to the bed (private rooms, oh yeah!). The massage was wonderful and relaxing. Karen really listened to what I wanted and asked frequently how I was feeling. The only issue I had, which isn't huge.. Is that he massage started a little late and ended a little early. I probably missed out on around 10 minutes.. But for a 1 hour massage I think those minutes should count. Overall, I had an amazing massage and hope to be back soon. I would continue to ask for Karen too. I've always wanted to have a massage and I came across the groupon for Life Bodyworks. The place is better than I expected and the massage room looks decent with candles, dim light and spa music. The therapist was very nice and asked about the areas I would like to focus on. The therapist used essence oil and hot stones. I have had many massages in my life, but without a doubt, Corinne is the BEST. The place doesn't look too nice from the outside, but once you walk in, everything changes. As soon as she started the massage, I was hooked. She clearly has a good understanding of the anatomy of the body and managed to work out every single tight muscle in my body. She has these soft hands that work Magic. No joke. The room has back ground ocean sounds, dimmed lights, and the table is so comfortable. It even feels like the sheets are heated when you get under. I love this place, the whole staff is super friendly and helpful with making sure my appointments meet with my work schedule. I've had massages and adjustments here and I have to say, they are highly trained professionals and really care about their patients. I found this place on groupon and have been coming here for about 3 months now. I use to go to a chiropractor in Monrovia and he is not as good as the one here. His techniques are so much better and he takes the time to listen to his patients. My neck and back have been feeling so much better, plus I am no longer getting migraines due to the neck pain I use to have. Also, this place has way more affordable prices.
