Ok.. this was the very first time we tried acupuncture. Besides accepting our medical insurance which was a plus! The pre-interaction with Grace was amazing! She made sure all of our questions were answered, copay, availability, making sure whatever medical tests/mri/x-rays information that would assist in the upcoming appointment. With all that said, It made me feel great witnessing the skill and watching the expression of the spouse's face actually changing! In a good way, he's been experiencing a lot of pain. Dr. Henry Han came highly recommended by my neighbor who has had good results. Dr Han's wife, Dr. Grace Li , is also an acupuncturist and is super nice and helpful. The Han family comes from generations of acupuncturists. Dr. Han is like a magician!!!! I was suffering from real bad Achilles tendonitis. My podiatrist gave me a cortisone injection and i was wearing a boot for over 3 months, but I was still in a great deal of pain and unable to walk normally. The podiatrist then recommended surgery. He proposed cutting and stretching out my Achilles and grinding down my bone spur, but that didn't sound very good to me. No thanks. I went to Dr. Han and had just 3 treatments and my pain and inflammation has already gone down by 90%!!! This is our first time with acupuncture treatment and Dr Han and his wife Grace are the best at what they do. They are so accommodating and gracious and immediately gain one's trust with their friendly approach. I am getting a hip replacement in December and wanted to manage the pain holistically and that's what acupuncture does for me. The session is always so relaxing and I feel so at peace afterwards. Dr Han and Grace are so nice. I hurt my back really bad. They knew immediately where the problem was. After the first visit my healing began. Every visit Dr Han works with me as he makes sure the treatment is working. After a couple of visits I had full mobility. Then I returned for a neck problem and he worked his magic again. Dr. Han and his wife Grace are a huge asset to the Diamond Bar and surrounding community. I fell down hard and hurt my hand once, and one of my fingers was in pain for over a year. Regular doctors weren't able to help. I went on Yelp and found out that Dr. Han was near me, so I figured I had nothing to lose. He fixed it in one visit. End of story. Since then they have helped me through various issues.... Can he fix everything????????? NO!!!!!! Your mileage and success will vary. Mine did as well. Depends on what is wrong.... I was recommended to Han's by a family friend. I woke up one morning and was unable to move an entire side of my body. I called Han's and they were able to schedule an appointment for the same day. Ms. Han and her husband are both so genuine and so sweet. Her husband was able to apply acupuncture treatment in the exact areas of my back and neck that were causing my stiffness without me even telling them where everything was hurting. Dr Han never fails to impress me! Recently I developed a really bad allergic reaction on my arm and hands from bleach exposure, a careless accident. I went to see 3 different dermatologists who prescribed me tons of steroids and after applying the steroids it would be better for 2 days and it would relapse. My skin continue to get worse and after about 2 months of suffering from this condition, not being able to sleep at night due to severe pain and itching, I paid Dr. Han a visit. Dr. Han looked at my skin, felt my pulse like some magician, used his magic "needles" on me and prescribed me some herbal pills. Within a week, the swelling went down, the boils on my skin started to scab. I was as skeptical of Eastern Medicine as they cone but after exhausting all efforts in Western Medicine only to be met with endless prescription with no results, I decided to give Eastern Medicine a try. My first few experiences at another place (not at Dr. Han's) helped me understand the foundation of Eastern Medicine but were disappointing due to poor service and an uneasy feeling that I was being conned (and ripped off with some holistic medicine nonsense). Then I found Han's Acupuncture through Yelp. I am so glad I did. Dr. Han was patient and non-judgmental from our first meeting. He listened to my concerns and laid out a plan in addressing each of my issues. He also was very honest and managed my expectations. I do not feel like I am being pushed products or services I don't need or being tricked in a way that is all to common when Westerners try to profit from Eastern Medicine. Han's Acupuncture does acupuncture and acupressure. None of that extra frou frou "holistic" stuff that makes you seriously question your common sense. As a side note to that, now that I am expert in Eastern Medicine ;), I don't feel like more needles necessarily equates to better in Eastern Medicine. What I find nice about this place is that it is just right. Dr. Han has remained consistent in his honesty and sincere concern for the well-being of his patients. Sometimes he even gives 2 cents of life advice during casual conversation - always from a perspective that shows he understands things from a truly holistic way. Grace, a staff member that is also sincere, patient, and super kind, usually begins or ends the acupuncture with a wonderful acupressure massage, which is included in the session. The acupressure massage alone could make the session well worth the cost, which is very reasonable btw. Speaking of cost, this place also takes insurance, which is helpful if you have to come here regularly. And in addition to the great service and kindness of the entire staff here, I am pleased to say that I am seeing positive results for health issues that would seem impossible to be helped by acupuncture. As an added bonus, I have less back pain too! I am a believer and will be coming here for as long as I am physically able to do so. My weekly sessions here is the time I look forward to the most in my weeks (who doesn't want to end the week with a good massage?) The place itself is not much to look at but like I've found with most places, when the actual product or service being provided is excellent, the decor doesn't make a difference. About a month ago I woke up with a stiff neck and shoulder and figured in time it will go away. Nope, it stayed the same. So I was very skeptical of all the acupuncture places but I saw how Han's had all 5 star rating on Yelp so, I figured I give it a try. Dr. Han is GREAT! My neck and shoulder feels a lot better. I was referred to Han's by one of my friends. Because my friend said they will take insurance. So I called and spoke to Grace and made my 1st appointment on Nov 10 2018. I asked Grace if they take insurance, she said give me your number and I'll text you, so you can send me your insurance card and I'll check for you. She also told me if the insurance doesn't cover, it will be $60 for treatment. I give her number but didn't receive any text until the day of my appointment for reminder. I was like, that's ok, it won't take that long for them to know if the treatment cover by insurance or not. After the treatment, Grace told me that my insurance doesn't cover. As I acknowledged earlier, I paid my first treatment with cash, and didn't ask for receipt. And booked my 2nd appointment. After my 2nd visit, and booked my 3rd appointment. one day, I was looking at my company's insurance plan, and realized that my plan covers acupuncture for 30 times. So I called Grace and ask her, could you please check again, because my insurance cover the acupuncture. On the other side of the phone, she said, because your treatment doesn't cover. I asked why is that? She cant give me the reason why. So I still went for my 3rd appointment. And after that appointment, I dig more into my insurance plan. And found out the Han's is actually in my plan's network. So I called again, ask kindly if you could provide treatment and receipt, so I can claim myself. So I texted Grace, and never get response back. And so didn't get any reminder for that week's appointment as well. What I want to say is, my insurance covers plan, why cant you help your patient to claim for it? It's not that you don't get your payment. If you really cant claim it, why cant you provide treatment plan so the patient can claim themselves. What a fraud. Where is your medical ethics? read more

I have had acupuncture treatments for some back issues and they have seriously helped me out to relieve some pain and tension in my back. The service here is great - very professional, efficient, courteous and with great communication. They ask you all the right questions and really focus in on what your issue is. I leave the office relaxed and feeling much more at peace and with far less stress on the areas that are afflicting me. I am a strong proponent of acupuncture and of this office and their staff. Dr Han and Grace are a wonderful team. Dr Han is very kind and gentle, he's been treating my shoulder tension issue (I had a slipped disc issue about a year ago and the pain has migrated down to the shoulder area). He usually treats me with acupuncture, then cupping, and then Grace does acupressure. Dr Han is very careful, and his treatments are not super intense to the point of causing discomfort (which some other acupunctures will do). The treatments are very relaxing and he is very careful to make sure you can handle the treatment. Grace is very excellent at acupressure massage as well. She is so strong!!! Don't let her small dainty figure fool you. She applies just the right pressure and you can really tell she knows what she is doing because she hits all the spots and really helps to relieve pain. read more

I've been coming here for several years. Most of the time I would call for same-day appointment and they would be able to accommodate me. The treatment room is nice and clean, good temperature and always have relaxing instrumental music. I've fallen asleep couple of times while receiving treatments. If you have insurance that allows your to self-refer, you might be able to use it here. I was able to use the self-refer service and I just pay the copay for acupuncture and cupping. read more

He preemptively knows how you're feeling or what ails you without you even telling him! No, Henry Han isn't my babydaddy, but he stuck those little needles in all the right places and two months later...voila! I was well on my way to hippohood. I have been suffering from sciatica/piriformis syndrome for almost a year. For most of the year I was able to live through it and work out with the pain, but recently it had become debilitating and painful to the point where just sitting for a little would cause extreme pain. We found Dr Han on yelp and gave it a try. They give a 10% off first time patient so definitely use that! Each appt is $50, which is very affordable compared to other offices in the area. Other offices I called charge and upwards of $70 and sometimes even have a first time consultation fee. Not here! The consultation/first appointment is with the welcoming couple, Dr Han and his wife come in to say hello, Dr Han will then ask you about your issues and will then proceed to just lightly feel the areas that are bothering you. From this light touch, he is able to tell the areas of tension and stress and will start the acupunture on your right then and there! it is about 20-25 minutes of acupunture which is pretty relaxing, I usually end up falling asleep, followed by 20-25 minutes of Grace's acupressure, which if you have a tense back like me, is heaven, who knew such a little lady had so much strength in her hands! And sometimes followed by pressure cupping. The place isnt the more asthetically pleasing, but don't let that deter you, with their magic, you should care less about what the place looks like. After several weekly appointments, i am fully healed and sadly, there is no need for me to return. This is a perfect alternative for people who have tried everything and have not received any results. First visit to see Dr. Han for my burning left hip sciatica pain. Dr. Han has a very professional & personal bedside manner. At first he asks where my pain was, I told him I was doing squats at the gym & my sciatica pain was terrible. After acupuncture he also did a cupping thing on my lower back & I can literally feel a release of tension immediately thereafter. Within a day or so my sciatica went away immediately. No more burning pain on my hip. If anyone knows or has a sciatica on the lower hip or side You know what burning pain I am talking about.
