I don't normally leave poor reviews, but i am pretty frustrated with massage envy Fort Collins. I've had a membership with ME SINCE 2011 and last month we found out that they charged our bank account over $700. I called right away and was told there was a glitch in their system and my account had been frozen since last august of 2019... they finally caught the mistake and charged my account all at once for ever month missed. I have been in to the location to receive services on a few different occasions (including November/December 2019 and January 2020) and they charged tips to the same same credit card I have on file and used ore paid massages (so they would have had to look at my account) and they never told me my account was frozen. There was also never an attempt to contact me at any point my phone, email, or in person. I have been trying to reach a manager (who must have the shortest/easiest work schedule on the planet) to solve this problem and I can NEVER get the manager- they are never there or available. Needless to say, I am mad and frustrated and so completely over the poor customer service. I never agreed to pay anything more than the monthly payment at once, and this was THEIR mistake, not mine. I would love to have someone finally contact me to fix this situation. read more

I recently moved to Fort Collins and decided to give Massage Envy a try. A trainer at my gym recommended Dillon- he has worked miracles for her. I had a 90 minute massage and was very happy with the pressure he gave (strong) and he was very skilled at getting my knots out. The table was warm and comfy and overall it was an awesome experience! read more

This is one the better locations I have had the chance to visit. Since moving out here 6 weeks ago I have been 3 times and my wife has visited 3 times also. The entire staff is courteous and helpful. The massages are great. Booking my next appointment soon! read more

Even though their therapists are decent, the front desk help makes this experience miserable. I went in to buy a gift card and seriously regret giving them my business. I was greeted with judgmental stares from all the girls and was never asked if I needed help. As if this treatment was not unprofessional and rude enough, a male therapist was massaging a female desk clerk at the front desk. In addition to this laundry list of unprofessional, poor customer service; another clerk crawled out from underneath the front desk where she was apparently hiding to scare her fellow employees. I left the front desk with the feeling that I was interrupting their Facebook and texting time. Facebook was open on all of the computers and phones were everywhere. I am sorry to disrupt their social hour with my business. I was planning on giving this gift card to a friend who suffers from a lot of back pain. However, I am seriously considering returning the gift card because I am embarrassed to think that my friend would think that I consider Massage Envy a good place to go. A massage spa is supposed to be a place to relax and feel better; any physical relief offered from the therapists will be instantly undone by the daggers the front desk customer service throws your way. read more

I got a Gift certificate from friends because i have been having a really hard time. They wanted to give me a massage. I Can agree with other reviews that say you really only get a 45 minute massage at most. I went on 3/23/18. I was never told when i called to make the apt to come in early because you have stuff to fill out. When I got there it took time to go through their questions. After being greeted my the massage therapist brought into the room, go over your needs again that you had to put into there IPAD, get undressed wait for the person come back to start. Its way less than the 60 you pay for. Plus sadly the Massage therapist even ended minutes early. seriously!!! read more

I got massaged by Tyler today and it was glorious. I have a very physical job that makes me very sore and Tyler worked wonders on my back and I could feel him tending to the many knots I had. He is very skilled and I couldn't even tell where he was standing half the time cause his movements were so fluid and continuous. I highly recommend Tyler for anyone seeking a great massage. My only critique is that I wish it had been longer than an hour :( read more

I walked in yesterday because I noticed the skin care line as I was passing. No customers were in the lobby, I greeted the receptionist and that was as far as our interaction went. After ten minutes I said well I am leaving. Ok she said. No one bothered to ask why I was there or if I needed help when I was clearly looking at the skin care products! My experience for my resent visit to message envy in Fort Collins off of Harmony Rd was unexceptionably. I checked in and waited for about 10 minutes to find out that the therapist wasn't there. The lady at the front desk was nice enough but the fact of the matter was that I took off work for my appointment and drove 20 plus minutes to wait for nothing. Every person on this earth only has so much time so time is more valuable then money. The lady at the front desk apologized and said she would have the manager call me. Normally I wouldn't complain on the internet but It's been over 24 hours and I still have not been called by the manager. In the past 3 or 4 months when I have called to book a message I have got an answering machine and not a person. I have been a message envy member for over 10 years and have never experience this much lack of customer service. I do like some of the therapists but unfortunately they must have too many customers and therefore they don't need me or an new customers. I advise finding another message company. read more

Sad as it may be, many people do not understand that if you book a 60 minute massage, after your consultation, after you finally get undressed for your massage, recieve your massage, get dressed and recieve suggestions from your therapist, its been 60 minutes if not more. So you DO recieve a 60 minute service. These therapist work very hard and many times on clients that do not bathe, go to the gym or run and then bring their stinky asses to be massaged. Gross. Cut these folks some slack. Walk in their shoes and then complain. read more

We love the Massage Envy in Fort Collins (Loveland - not so much). The management is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the therapists are talented. I am always asked where to focus the massage and how much pressure I want, and the massage invariably fits my requests. I would recommend ME-FC to anyone who wants a massage. read more

Horrible customer service. Screw up after screw up. I started going to Massage Envy for a back injury due to a car accident. My first few time in they kept trying to push upgrades for my massage as well as a membership. Due to the injury, I had an insurance claim that was paying for the service as long as documentation was provided for my treatment. I specifically addressed this with management on my first visit and they assured me that they would provide me with everything I needed. After my first visit I was not given any documentation on the treatment. When I called in to make my second appointment, I spoke with a receptionist named Clay and told him I needed this ASAP. He told me that it would be available for me when I came in next. It was not. I told them again that the next time I came in I would need it. I needed this info so I could get reimbursed from my insurance company for the money I was spending. The next time I came in..guess what? THEY STILL DIDNT HAVE IT. The manager I spoke with offered to fax the documentation to the insurance adjuster herself. A couple days had passed and my adjuster called me about my claim. He told me he had only been faxed a cover page. A FREAKIN COVER PAGE. What idiot can't use a fax machine. Angrily, I called massage envy and told them they had screwed up yet again. Of course I heard a lot of apologies and assurances that the situation would be taken care of. I would hope so after all their screw ups. I still haven't heard from my adjuster if the documentation has gone through. Then yesterday I called in and spoke with a Peter. I asked him "do you have anything available in the morning?" "Ummmmm.... Yes we have an 830 available." "Great, can you put me down for that time." " yes, we'll see you at 830." The next morning, having already rearranged my morning to have my bad back worked on, I show up to find out Peter had scheduled me for 8:30 pm....after I specifically asked for a massage in the morning. After the stupid bewildered receptionist who obviously couldn't handle real life situations stumbled over her words, I asked to speak with a manager. And of course I heard apologies, but after this many screw ups I couldn't take it anymore. Don't get stuck in a membership. The front desk/ management service absolutely sucks. My review is different than most. My review is to rave about one of their receptionists, Lea(h)/Leigha (not sure on the spelling). I work in patient services and this receptionist was such a pleasure to work with and beyond a professional. I was in such muscle pain/tightness from the weekend when I called that, although fully booked on a Sunday, she put me down on a cancelation list for a same day appt and called me a few hours later with an opening. She made sure, due to my specific requests/pressure demands to cater my appt more to my needs, resulting to an appt a few days later vs to just fill the schedule that day. She was so flexible and courteous to all of my schedule changing needs and such a delight to work with over the phone. She is knowledgable and truly puts the client first. Thank you so much for your insight and taking the time to make sure the massage therapist I was to be scheduled with was the best fit for me. You are wonderful. read more

Everything about my experience here was positive. They fit me in the schedule super last minute. The atmosphere in reception was extremely calming and peaceful. Ooh yeah, and I also had, quite possibly, the best massage of my life. I'm so sorry, even though I don't live anywhere NEAR Fort Collins, I can't share my massage therapist's name because I'm afraid she'll get too busy! But I've been finding myself making up excuses to go back to Fort Collins because of this place, so yeah, it's that good. read more

After a long time of not being able to get in with the good therapists in town, ( they are usually booked pretty far ahead) I resorted to getting massage at "M.E.".Boy did I find out that I was right. I was "resorting" to a bunch of sub-standard therapist with over-rated acclaims. I should have listened to what I have always heard about the place. Not a very good experience at all! I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone. I went there and had a new girl who was very nice but had no idea what she was doing sign me up for a membership. Once my membership was up I kept getting charged so I called and was told I had to come in and cancel. I was out of town and told them I'd be in when I got back and they charged me again!! Also when I took my mother in to treat her they charged me 69 dollars. more than she would have been charged on her own (49 dollars). Being a member has NO BENEFITS A ALL. I scheduled 4 massages with 4 different therapists and all were very professional, knowledgeable and excellent customer service on their parts along with the staff up front. They have a great variety of therapists and it doesn't takes weeks to get in for a massage. I highly recommend! read more

I have had massage therapy at many places, more specifically deep tissue massage therapy. The massage therapy was okay, as i tried 3 different therapists at their location. However, the financial end of this company is unethical and unfair at best. You have an expiration date on your massage "credits" that you buy beforehand. And the time that you are given to use your remaining credits is extremely short. If you have 15 credits that you paid $40 a piece for, they give you a month to use all of them or they literally DISAPPEAR! No Refund on the credits. This is not a way to run a business and I do not recommend anyone to go to Massage Envy. Additionally, if you want to transfer a credit to a friend or family member, which takes literally a click of a mouse, they charge you $10....and its not $10 total, its $10 for EACH credit to be transferred, even if its to the same person. It takes 1 click to transfer a single credit, or 1 click to transfer 10 credits. They rob you blind after you pay them. My advice is to only pay at the time you have the massage. Do not buy credits in advance or they will take them from you if your not careful. Or don't go there at all...problem solved. read more
