There was alot of what seemed like working on different pressure points throughout the body, I don't know if that's the way to word it but it definitely wasn't a massage like I have experienced with past therapists. Also, there was conversation the ENTIRE time. I couldn't be rude and not respond but a relaxing massage to me is one with no talking unless I am signaling pain or the therapist asks about the level of pressure. I was really looking forward to a nice relaxing massage since it had been years since I had one but that's just not what I received. Bummer. Noting the place was really nice, clean and welcoming. There's a 10 mins to get undress and 10 mins to get dress at the end of the massage. So that leave me 40 mins for the actual massage. While Faith did fix my most important areas. The 40 mins didn't really leave room for other areas. She just runs your hands thru it. Again the 4 stars are for Faith. I feel soo much better after she's done with my shoulders, arms and neck.. Her hands seem to be magical. But as far as the whole concept of the massage Luxe. I would've been paying $75 monthly for a 40 mins massage or without membership. It's $120. The warming on the massage table was welcome, and I was very comfortable throughout the experience. Safety would be a concern however, as I never signed a waiver, filled out any forms to disclose any personal information or pre-existing conditions that may impact the massage. I'm used to filling those out and noting any areas of pain, prior surgeries or medical diagnosis, etc. Was never asked if I have had a massage before either that I recall. Price quoted over the phone was $90 for one hour, matched the pricing displayed on arrival and was the price changed. Pricing displayed under the table that you see when you lay on your stomach was older, should likely be removed.

One lady does my right leg for about twice as long as the other leg. The one doing my back seemedto be digging for gold as hard as she was pushing. I even told her "not so hard" and she used a little lighter pressure for a few mins and then back to the "dig as hard as I can." When I was face up, chest and stomache area was not touched at all. Then when I paid with a card and was going to leave, very sore and dissatisfied and I get "You pay tip in cash?" I was about to just keep walking but I gave her a $20 and then get "This is for one?" No, that's to show you how poor of a job you did. If I'd had a $1, THAT would have been the tip.
