But if you're a puss and don't like deep massages don't waist his time. I injured my leg awhile back. And my hip mobility wasn't up to par. Very wonderful service here! The staff here only what you to feel comfortable and relaxed. I became a member after my first massage and facial. They give a discount for members who are college students. They also give you recommendations on products to use and what you should do as far as stretching or exercise goes after your facial and massages. It also smells so good in there! Massage Heights is one of our getaway pleasures. We have been members since their opening. As a couple we look forward to the couples room experience. We have always had an enjoyable experience, warm smiles, very effective deep tissue massages along with hot stones and tables so comfortable that I have dozed off on. The staff has a variety of talents among masseuses. Rhiannon, Lorraine, and Josh are our go to people. They are fun to be with and do an amazing job. You can tell they not only are professional grade, they also really enjoy their craft. They listen, and give great advice after our sessions. When we schedule, often times within a couple of days, they seem to get us in. This is a treat with our wacky schedules. We are often greeted by Autumn who already knows what and who we prefer. A great value. This is far different from other massage franchises where we had experienced major scheduling issues. The Palladio location is great! Until they drop the nonsense with being "locked into their special rate for a year" contracts, I cannot recommend you run further away from this place than if you were dealing with fire. Not only are they charging outrageously high prices for their services but then you give them your card and they say you signed a contract with them that holds you to them. If you aren't enjoying a service why would you keep wanting to come back? Just because a few other snakes make you sign contracts doesn't mean Massage Heights needs to play that nasty game to get you to keep coming back. read more

I've had nothing but a great experience with Nikki who has been doing my facials and taking great care of my skin needs. During my first visit with her she was able to quickly identify my problems, and going in I knew there'd be a ton of them. She taught me proper techniques as well as put me on a regimen that fixed all of my issues. In 3 short weeks my skin was drastically better. I was 7 weeks postpartum and my amazing husband surprised me with a massage at massage heights. My therapist was Leonard (who also does deep tissue massage for the Sacramento Kins - so I heard), he was amazing! My neck and shoulders were shot after 7 weeks of cradling a baby for feedings and rocking him to sleep round the clock. Leonard was amazing! He really took the time to loosen up the knots in my neck but also check with me for desired pressure. Great experience, my wife and I stopped in while on our way back home from Thanksgiving with the family in Sacramento on our way back to NV. The young lady receptionist said they we booked until later in the afternoon but would give me a call if they had any no shows in the next hour or so. As I said we were on our way home and I didn't want to wait 4 hours. I went into Victoria Secret with the wife and I got a call 15 min later with a no show. My neck and shoulders were hurting and very tight. I had originally asked for someone strong to ( hurt me ) I had the BEST massage I have ever had. ( Cathy ) was unbelievable, She took me from tens and uncomfortable to a noodle in 30 min. I almost fell down when walking out I was so relaxed and felt like a million bucks after she just worked it. I had a very poor hot stone90 min. massage at Massage Heights. The therapist seemed inexperienced, didn't know how to use the stones and didn't use enough pressure even when asked to apply more. She seemed new to the business and shouldn't have been represented as a "professional" massage therapist. When I brought this to the attention of the management via email, weeks later I received a curt reply and they didn't seem to care about customer satisfaction. There was also LOTS of sales pressure before and after the massage and I couldn't wait to escape!! Will never recommend them to anyone!!!! What a waste of a nice facility in a terrific location! I have to say massage heights is probably the worst massage I've ever had. I don't know if I could even cal it a massage. All it was, was kinesiology therapy, and by that I mean is they adjust your pressure points. They didn't "massage " one thing. Also the things I asked them to focus on, like my feet, they didn't even touch. Worst place I've ever been too! Also it was so expensive! For my boyfriend and I's couple massage it was $139.99! They make you sign this must pay waiver in the beginning so they ensure they get their money. Which my guess is that they have had people complain before. Never going again. Ever! read more

By far the worst massage I have ever had. A few weeks ago I booked a massage on group on it was ok. I got a 90 minute massage with hot stone. The massage was ok, it seemed like the massage therapist didn't know what she was doing. She only used the stones. (Usually the therapist uses the stones and there hands.) well I got a call that they would like to have me back at an introductory rate. I figured I would give them another try with another massage therapist. So I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage and apparently they set me up with the same therapist. I showed up on time and I had to wait an extra 15 minutes till she brought me back to the room. Once she left so I could get situated I had to wait another 8 to 10 minutes till she returned to start the massage. Once she came in the room she reeked of weed. This Extremely pissed me off! So much for relaxing....She ended up using the hot stones when that was not part of the massage. Due to being late to start my massage so she could go get high, My 60 minute massage ended up being 40 minutes. She spend very little time on the areas that needed attention. She barely paid attention to my arms and legs. I spent the whole time on my stomach. Then she goes to say "oh there was a scratch on the door that means I need to hurry up. Ok well your session is up I'll meet you outside". Like really WTF?? Let's just say I will not be recommending this place to anyone. I was extremely disappointed with the services. This place is awful. Ive been harassed on my way to work and it's given me anxiety every time I walk past the place. I've never hated a company more than this one. Don't get me wrong Dawn is the best massage therapist, if she didn't work there I'd see her every month. But this place has the WORST customer service I've ever experienced. I've wasted more time dealing with THEIR miscommunications than anywhere else. The first issue is when I signed up for their membership. I was told I could pay for my first one with gift cards. I later noticed I was charged on my card as well for the massage. I wasted my time twice to go and make sure they cleared up THEIR mistake. The second and worst, I made a mistake first I forgot about my 2hr massage. I caught it in the middle and they said they'd only take off one of my points built up. Okay that's fine. Then on my way to work at 9am (I work at palladio) one of the workers comes out and starts calling my name. I am on the phone and I make obvious gestures I am on the phone and not to talk to me. As she continues to talk to me and call my name I end my call. She states I missed my appointment and it will be charged to my credit card. I am pissed off not only was I HARASSED ON MY WAY TO WORK I am being charged for something that was already cleared up. I tell her what I was already told and go to work (I was late). I wasted my only lunch at work to go to the massage place and make sure THEIR MISTAKE was cleared up. Of course I'm pissed off and yelling and am told by her that they didn't make a mistake which they did. But at least they didn't charge me thank god and it was cleared up. So not only was I harassed on my way to work over THEIR mistake I wasn't given anything. Nothing in all THEIR mistakes was something done to make me a happy customer. For the rest of my months left I got severe anxiety going in there. I got anxiety walking past the place even and I did it 5x a week. If you do choose to go to this awful company expect the worst customer service. In my advice don't go to a company that harasses paying customers on their way to work. read more

I am giving this place 2 stars because of my number one DEAL BREAKER: they use LOTION to massage and not oil. It is unbelievable to me that anyone would prefer lotion! It is tacky and absorbs into the skin right away which makes it impossible to smooth out over the skin and into the muscles. They don't even offer oil to a client who requests it like I did. It should at least be an option! Because she used lotion, I can't properly assess how good of a therapist she was so I won't mention her name. I feel like half of my body was missed. I also believe that excellent customer service is key and they were incredibly knowledgeable, nice, and friendly. However, it started to become overkill!! There actually IS such a thing as too much customer service! They walked me to AND from the bathroom which I thought was ridiculous (once you walk me there and show me where it is, I don't need to be babysat while inside). During my massage, I agree that communication is very important, but once you ask me if the pressure is good, do NOT keep asking! It distracts away from the relaxation and shows insecurity in your abilities. Also after my massage, my therapist waited for me outside the door (standard practice) however after talking for a minute or two, which is fine, she took me into a separate room to continue talking. Huh??? I started to feel awkward when we had the same conversation again so I thought maybe I was supposed to pay then. She told me "No you pay up front but it's too busy and I have to wait until it's clear so you can get individualized attention". HUH????? I want to pay for my massage and go home!! If that's how you want to show off your customer service, that's unacceptable to make me wait AFTER I've received services! On top of that, the front desk girl then came into the room to discuss their packages! Why would they not do that BEFORE my massage, WOW me with how good it was, then maybe I would be compelled to get one? I told her that I won't return strictly for the fact that they use lotion. I wanted to include the customer service issue in my review however because it was just too much!! read more

I went in for a massage and next thing I knew I was receiving monthly charges on my credit card bill. After numerous dead end calls I canceled my credit card and began getting very harassing calls from them to update my card. According to them I had joined a a membership where they bill me monthly for a massage whither I use it or not. I never signed up for this. I called their corporate office and got the worst customer service ever! They were rude and unwilling to hear anything I had to say. I tried everything I could to deal with this situation in an appropriate manner and they were just plain unwilling too. Tonight less than two weeks before Christmas I got a call from them demanding back pay plus interest or they were sending me to collections. They are asking for payment with interest for something I never received. I never signed up for this membership nor did I use it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else! I received a gift card and called to schedule my appointment I gave them my gift card number but then they said I had to provide my credit card number too. I told them I was very uncomfortable with this since they already had the gift card to "hold my spot" Said sorry no exceptions, I considered just saying forget it but didn't want to "give them the value" Also, I requested a female and got a male. I filled out a long annoying questionnaire while I was questioned about where I worked and how many kids I had, etc. weird. On my questionnaire I said I just wanted a nice relaxing message. I was asked if anything hurt and I said yes I have a shoulder injury. So my nice relaxing message became a "therapy session" of his thumb deeply kneading in my back and shoulder it was quite uncomfortable. I didn't say anything because I probably did need to have my back loosened a little but it is not what I asked for. After I was told to "have a seat" so they can discuss my plan. Then the masseuse wrote out a prescription for messages every 3 weeks. the whole thing was just weird and uncomfortable. read more

AWFUL EXPERIENCE - DO NOT GO TO!!! I booked a couples massage for my best friend and me on the morning of her birthday. I live two and half hours from Folsom, and when we got to the massage parlor we were informed that they did not have enough masseuses on staff (even though we were booked appropriately in their system). All that was offered to us was a free foot scrub and only one of us would be able to receive the massage. Clearly the birthday girl received the massage - and they offered to let me watch her get one (ew). They brought her back 5 minutes late (then changing time) and she was out 10 minutes before the hour was up! So a 60 minute massage (which is typically 50 minutes with 10 minutes allowed for changing), was 15 minutes shorter. When I scheduled the appointment, the told me it was going to be around $100 for the couples massage - only one of us got a massage, it was shorted, AND it was only about $20 cheaper than both of us getting a massage, coming to $79.99. read more

PLEASE Stay Away!!! Run away and fast. As mentioned by others, once they have your credit card number, they will bill and bill and bill. I was given a one year membership by my wife. After that year was up, they continued to bill us monthly. We called them to cancel and they wouldn't accept that. We emailed them to cancel, I went in to cancel, I confirmed in person with the front office staff to cancel, they showed me that they had received our written cancellation and told me the final date of the 'membership'. What happened two days AFTER my membership ended? Yup, we got charged again. And what happened 30 days later? YUP we got charged again. Spoke with the owner (his phone number is on their front door). He really doesn't seem to care much either. Nice massage therapist, but watch your money. Better yet, go somewhere else and NEVER gives these guys a penny, and don't even think about showing them your credit card. read more

I tried this place once and decided not to go back as it felt more like a sales pitch rather than quality service. Unknowingly my husband gave me a gift certificate to Massage Heights later. So I went back to use up my gift cert, the customer service was absolutely horrifying. They did not accept the gift certificate and made me pay the entire amount. I had to go back atleast 5 times and innumerable calls to have the gift certificate accepted. The purpose of it being a gift was taken away and I would not go back to this place and do not recommend the place either. read more

This establishment has great therapist but they are shady in their contracts. I literally had to call my bank to put a stop payment I cancelled back in March 2017 they continued to charge my account. I've drove down multiple times to address the situation each time told it was taken care of. Then to find my account still being charged and that then being told there isn't anything they can do. Massage started out ok, but as I started to relax and focus on the experience, and not the conversation the therapist was wanting to carry on, she seemed annoyed and said, "...yeah, I guess it's hard to focus on the massage when we are chit-chatting." From there, the massage went down hill. Lots of long pauses, where I'd assumed she was reheating the stones, one-handed massaging, which I thought was odd, and then it ended after 50 minutes (for a "60" minute massage). When the therapist left the room and I prepared to leave, the dimly light room was illuminated by her phone which was right by the oils. It was a text notification...turns out she'd been texting during the second half of my massage. This was the second massage of a three pack I purchased. When I notified management and asked for a refund, not for the terrible massage I just had, but for the unused, outstanding, third massage that I had "on the books." Long story short, his response was, "Sorry hun, can't give you a refund, but you can buy five massages for the price of three." Needless to say, I declined the less than acceptable offer and I won't be back. A word of advice, ask your therapist to check his/her phone at the front desk, or better yet, find a more reputable place for your therapy.! read more

After our regular masseuse leaving after 5 yrs we had to try someone else who was not good at all. The manager (Shelly) pressured me into using a man even after I had told her I had a bad experience with one. My husband is not comfortable with random people touching him and he had gotten used to our regular. So we decided to cancel our membership the manager Shelly was supposed to call me back and never did. So we went in to cancel and the front desk girl went back to get the manager, once Shelly came out, she did not greet us nor acknowledge us, she just started typing and printing things out, then asked us to sign without explaining anything. Which I found it interesting that she didn't even attempt to keep us as members. I then questioned if the payments would stop and she stated that one more would be taken out, even though I stated I didn't want the services anymore. By then I was irritated and my husband stated how uncomfortable it was for him to have random people massaging him and how he didn't want to go through that. It had took him time to get used to our regular. The manager Shelly was very unsympathetic and basically said she was here 5 yrs what do you expect. Which was not trying to imply that the masseuse had to stay. After I talked it's her again she agreed to stop payment for him, but not me. I questioned her about how can she make an exceptions for him but not me. She said how would that look if I did that for everyone, I can't just do that. I told her she just did, then she said she would allow me to use the 3 unused massages my husband had, I told her I don't want the service because there are no good masseuses here. THen I asked how can she make 2 exceptions for him but still say that she won't stop the payment from coming out of my account. Which is 15 days away so I think is plenty of notice. I had to ask for copies of our term notices. She was just completely unprofessional and I have definitely noticed the change since she took over.
