The session started with a quick initial conversation about pains, focal points and massage options/tools (cupping, hot stones), then followed with massage work that was diagnostic and exploratory (as it was my first visit). Techniques were effective in releasing tension and pains on and beyond stated focal areas. Not only was Chad knowledgeable and professional throughout the process but also personable and considerate, communicating his expertise during the process and sharing relevant insights on body awareness and long-term wellness. I've been here twice so far and have seen Chad and Rob who are both absolutely amazing and super knowledgeable! Massage was good but the massage therapist needs to check his breath to make sure it doesn't smell, maybe a mint or gum. Breathing over someone because they are close/near to you I could smell the bad breath it was gross. Also the room is very cluttered, very messy, boxes and stacked junk, the furniture is also not clean and looks dirty, ripped furniture, not relaxing because of the room and how it looks. read more

I usually do 1 massage a month but I go to Thai or reflexology massages when I'm feeling tense. I get a lot of knots from having 2 small children and working a desk job and am constantly in meetings talking. I went to Rob for the first time never meeting him before or knowing what to expect. When I walked in he was across the room and we sat down to consult. He immediately assessed my pain points just by the way I walked in... it was so impressive. I also felt a lot of relief with his techniques because it was so transitional and not firm pressure in the pain areas immediately. He is very passionate about the human body and how everything is connected to each other. He educated me on how one thing leads to chronic pain later on and the small adjustments I can make to the way I hold my kids, to small exercises, and the position I need to have when I'm standing or sitting. It's a shame I can only rate Robert 5 stars, because I would give him 10 if I could! I am a neck/back patient from a car accident 10 years ago. I am delicate, in pain often, and I am very careful about who I have work on me. I am restricted in what I can tolerate. In short, I am both picky and complicated. This guy is hands down one of the BEST massage therapists I have ever been to, and I've been a big massage fan for years. His technique is gentle and yet very effective, and I am always restored after a session with him. I never feel like I got dropped from a 5 story balcony afterwards, which is not uncommon with deep massage for me! This guy knows the human body, and can explain WHY I'm having pain, even just based on my shoes and my posture. I have had SURGEONS miss this part! Another RARE bonus: Robert gives me more table time than other massage places do. Usually, as a client you pay for 90 minutes, but really you only get 80 in actual massage time. Then you must hurry up and rush to get dressed and get out...They want to get another body on that table ASAP. Well, Not with Robert. He gives me the entire 90 minutes, which is heavenly....especially when its already been 80 minutes on the table. I get the max bang for my buck here. And I don't have to stress out just to leave. Chill parking. I feel safe by myself in the area in general... Plus, the location is terrific, I love being in this part of town! Rob Thomas is a highly skilled masseuse. I went to him about 2 weeks ago with tight hips/hip flexor. I was unable to do a one leg squat with my right leg and I was not able to do tuck jumps with my right leg. I waited on writing this review because I wanted to see if my pain returned after a few days of getting the massage. His technique for correcting my imbalances was great and I noticed a difference right away. I've gone to other people whom I thought were amazing but he's on another level. Other masseuses have gone significantly harder in my problem areas, which may cause some ppl to shy away from. Rob's technique applied less pressure and I got better results.
