I was in NYC for a semi-work trip this past weekend. My back and body had been aching, especially after sitting on a bus on my way from Boston to NYC. But with Eddie's services, his availability, type of services and prices were all up to date. You knew exactly what you were getting. I booked a 90 min deep tissue massage with Eddie super last minute..maybe just hours before my afternoon massage..and was even surprised to get a personalized text from Eddie reminding me about my massage, too. When it was time for my appointment, Eddie was friendly and made me feel comfortable. The massage itself was a bliss. Eddie had strength and knew where to focus. He also had this powered message tool that really effectively busted out all the tension in my back, too. I normally don't fall asleep during my massages..but..for whatever reason..I totally drifted into my own lala land and feel asleep during my massage session. After my session, I remembered walking back to my hotel feeling totally relaxed...and guess what I did after i got back to my hotel?!?! More naps!! I'd pulled a muscle in my neck and spent days in pain before deciding it wasn't gonna just go away. I found Eddie on Yelp and decided to give him a shot based on the reviews. I'll be honest and say that it was a little more intense than the light massages I'm used to, but it was exactly what my body needed. Apparently my muscles were incredibly tense and Eddie, having very strong hands, eased all of that up. My neck was still a little stiff at the end of our session and he took some extra time to make sure to work out the knot. I was a bit sore afterwards just bc of how intensely he had to massage my neck but I got rid of that sharp pain down my neck and the feeling that my head weighed 1000 lbs. I was led to my appointment with Eddie via Yelp and the reviews. He was very responsive when I was booking with questions and concerns. I had booked through his website and there was a mix up with the schedule and it was all fixed very easily and quickly. I booked a deep tissue massage and it was exactly what I needed. He seemed to see what my body needed and it felt like it was very personalized as to my needs without even having to tell him. He even cracked my back which immediately help with my tension and also used a massage therapy gun which really helped release tension in my hips and it-band. I stumbled upon Eddie by luck and I am SOOO GLAD I did! He is very friendly and he makes me feel really comfortable. The pressure is just right and he knows exactly what to work on without telling him. I know this because every time I get a massage from him, he uses a different technique on certain muscles. His routine is always different. He knew to work on muscles that I didn't even know were tight! I have a thing with people touching my feet. I really don't like people massaging it and I even hate using those foot massage machines. I forgot to mention that to Eddie at the beginning of my very first visit with him.
