Their regular price is $120 an hour, which is steep. If you commit to once a month, the price drops to $75. I chose not to subscribe and based on the nightmare cancellation stories posted here, my instincts on that were correct. I have had the opportunity to visit this location 3 times. Twice for massage and once for massage and facial. The staff overall is great from Lexi and Chelsea at the front desk to Zack and Chris massage therapist to Maria the aesthetician. Everytime I've been in I've been greeted and given an iPad to do my COVID screener. Then they personally walk you to the waiting room and offer you water and access to the restroom. I scheduled an appointment a month in advanced, but when it came time for my massage I was told someone used my credit. I asked the receptionist how can someone come in, give my name and use my credit, she fumbled around and came up with some bologna. When my husband called to inquire about the process, she then stated that the credit expired, and stated that I was confused, no confusion on my part. Customer is always wrong. I said I didn't like some things the masseuse was doing, but he said "It's ok it'll help." Pain for 9 days and a back injury that is lingering for more than a month. It gets worse. Their intake form has you mark which areas you want, but the form wasn't working, so they said just tell your masseuse. I did. I asked for neck and shoulders, but he wrapped my bottom in the sheets like a diaper and had me doing the splits, and touching legs and butt-- I did not consent to these. I declined, but the masseuse argued it will help my neck. I kept declining, but they insisted, and I gave up arguing and just cried on the table. The masseuse said "I'm glad you had such a great experience." Wtf. Tried another masseuse, but they kept rolling perpendicularly over knots, which made crunching feeling/sounds. Again I said I don't like the crunching feeling, and this masseuse just did the same thing in a different place, so I had to keep telling them.... Their final solution was to avoid massaging the areas I came in to fix; again, areas I did not consent to. Their hot towels are way too hot. First masseuse responded by saying it would cool down. (!!!) Second masseuse took it off and shook it in the air. Assault is not a "great experience." read more

The massages ranged from ok to good and providers I had were not very experienced and overly confident of their knowledge. My main complaint was the discount membership program. Do not sign up for that unless you have etched in stone plans to use it. If you try to cancel you will be told different things by whoever answers the phone and you won't know what is accurate info. I called to cancel my membership (automatic credit card charges) after finding I did not get in for services regularly. The first call ended with me being told I had to speak with a manager who was not available. My second call ended when I was told ok, I would no longer be charged but I had 2 months to come in and use my remaining credit balance. I made an appointment and then decided to call again to confirm there was a credit balance to be used because if there was not and I showed up for my appointment and decided not to have a massage because there was no credit, I would have been charged anyway for late cancellation. Guess what? No credit on file. I do not recommend this place. It has a nice vibe but the business end needs work and the masseuses need to be more experienced and knowledgeable. read more

I've probably had 100 full-body massages in my lifetime. Most therapists have been extremely lackluster and disappointing, showing little-to-no experience or expertise in body awareness, or how the body operates. However, I was recently lucky enough to experience my first one-hour massage with "Mia" at Massage Luxe in Ann Arbor (Zeeb Location). My biggest pet peeve when it comes to massage therapists is the impatience they show when attempting to knead-out tight, wound-up muscle groups. Mia has an incredible sense of where muscle tension locates itself in the body and how, slowly and gently working out involuntary muscle spasms with her hands and fingers, helping to relax and prepare the body before applying the perfect amount of pressure/relief with a a strong elbow. Even better, she allows you to customize your time with her, perhaps focusing on areas of the body that carry more stress or lactic acid. I signed up for the "Luxe Membership" immediately after this first experience, and have been seeing Mia once a month ever since. HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended. read more
