Gracie is fabulous. I went in for a deep tissue massage and she puts in a lot of effort to work on areas you need worked on. The staff is so nice and the place is really calming. Their hydrobed is also amazing. They only have one so sometimes you gotta wait (in which case I just leave) but I've used it once or twice and definitely enjoy it. They love their returning customers (who wouldn't). So I was definitely put off once when they didn't ask me to use the bed first and asked her (even though I was done before her) but it's all good. DO NOT WASTE YOUR AND MONEY here. Over the past few months, I have endured the worst massages I've ever had. You really couldn't even call them massages. Clearly, most of the staff is not well trained. I doubt they are Certified Massage Therapists because they don't even know the names of common muscles. The massage therapists HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY'RE DOING. It's like they just grabbed people off the street to come work there. They have no idea how to manipulate the muscles properly for soreness, overuse or to relieve trigger points. I have tried at least 5 different ones. All they did was rub my skin with some pressure quickly, almost like they were in a hurry, which is neither relaxing nor beneficial. Like I stated before, they do not actually know how to give a real massage. I have asked them to concentrate on specific areas, but they never do. They have three or four "moves" they used over and over, never working the muscles of my shoulders or neck, where most people carry their stress. Also, the entire place is FREEZING! This is not a comfortable environment for a massage despite heated tables. The management doesn't listen as both customers and staff complain about how intolerable the cold temperature is year-round. If you're looking for a good massage, look elsewhere! read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! I tried to cancel my membership because they never had openings and then they told me I could just transfer the amount remaining in my account to a gift certificate. I called to get the money I paid turned into a gift certificate and they told me that It was too late to do that. When I arrived the mail employee at the front desk was very rude and told me I didn't make an appointment. After showing her the email I received, she proceeded to tell me that I didn't have an appointment and that they "tried" calling me to confirm, but she couldn't tell me what day or time they called. She also told me they left me a voicemail, which is not true because I showed her my phone log and my voicemail box on my phone. Very disappointing. I had a membership pre-pandemic. I cancelled my membership when lockdown occurred and they didn't give me the credits I paid for after the pandemic was over. The owner said there was nothing she could do. But we all know as the owner there were definitely things she could do to ensure I got what I paid for. They just took my money and said sorry. Finally I agreed To let her take it off because she promised to make sure I didn't leave without it but unfortunately she never reminded me to get it and I forgot after the massage. I have received multiple massages at various different establishments. This was by far the worst massage yet. I was excited to try a new massage parlor because I had received an hour massage for Christmas. I was supposed to be receiving a deep tissue massage first off and it was more like a back rub. I couldn't imagine having to pay $60 for a light back rub. The massage was supposed to be for an hour but was cut short to 45 min and when I asked why that was the case. They stated getting undressed and dressed was included in the one hour massage time. This was a ridiculous statement made and I will not be giving my business to this establishment again. I received a Groupon from a friend and I had a great experience. I had never even heard of MassageLuxe prior to the treat. Looks like it is similar to Massage Envy in that it is a chain and you can purchase a membership. I opted for a deep tissue massage (over the facial.) Unfortunately, I do not remember the gal's name who performed the massage, but I can say she was awesome! She was quite knowledgable about trigger points and finding the origin of my aches and pains, being the middle of my back. My fellow friends agreed that their massages were great, as well. After the massage, we were treated to a 15 minute session on the HydraMassage table. Damn, that was incredible! I had never seen one of these wonderful contraptions before; a mattress with dry water jets at the bottom. Lay down, hit start, and the glory begins. Yes, fully clothed, the warm water jets travel up and down to hit the tight muscles. We were told that a membership to the company includes unlimited 15 minute sessions on this thing. It's worth mentioning that the 3 star rating is due to the therapist making an offensive comment regarding my hair at the end of my session, which was in a low loose bun, so I definitely won't be using her again. She was also way too chatty for me and several times I wanted to mention that I'd prefer not to talk and just relax, but eventually she quieted down...some, and I still left satisfied with the massage. I place no blame on MassageLuXe for her blatant ignorance though, and solely chose the low rating based on my experience with the therapist. I've seen chiropractors regularly, but this was my first massage so I bought it through Groupon. Called on a Sunday and got an appointment same day (thank goodness because I was tense!) for 6pm. Facility was clean and they offer you water or tea while you fill out paperwork on an iPad and wait to be called. We started a couple minutes late (iPad had technical difficulties and I had to use the bathroom), but it didn't really bother me and the massage was still really good. I signed up for the $60/monthly membership (including 1 massage a month that rolls over if you do not use, unlimited use of the HydroLuxe bed at 15 minute intervals, and 15% off their products) since there's no contract. The use of the HydroLuxe bed was included with my Groupon after the massage. I thought it would be something only MassageLuXe had so I was excited to try it...but turns out it was just the Hydromassage bed that most Planet Fitness locations have. So needless to say I was a little disappointed since I have already experienced it, and personally consider it just to be okay. The bed is VERY loud and can throw off your zen after a peaceful massage. Anyway, that's irrelevant to the actual massage. It is the next day and I'm VERY sore on one area of my back, but I told her I had a knot there so it was to be expected. Just wanted to mention it for any other first timers. Unlike other national franchises, who hire staff right out of school with no experience & have high turnover of their staff. I've been going, regularly, for several months & am able to book with the same Massuese without issue. Monthly membership is super flexible, massage or facial. Get a free half hour if you bring a friend. Membership includes use of a hydro massage "table" after your traditional massage, at no charge. Nice perks. Clean & contemporary spa. Went today for my second massage and this time with Brianna. It was overall amazing. From the moment I walked in it felt like a very relaxing place and everyone was warm and welcoming. Came in 15 mins early to do paperwork but it didn't take me that long so they offered me a chance to use the hydro bed or to start early which was fantastic. Brianna did an amazing job, I asked for Deep tissue which she gave, she paid special attention to the places that needed it and checked in throughout my 90-minute massage to make sure everything was feeling ok. I called again and made another appointment and was told I can't use it. After telling them it was a gift and have no control over it. They made an exception. No where does it say that you're not allowed to use more than one in a year or ever. If hats going to be policy post it! Put it up in the facility and on the Groupon. When checking out I was told it was written I can't use in big red letters. I think it was very unprofessional on her behalf and just should've handled it better. Prices have gone up and they harass you to buy stuff every time you walk through a door. I don't recognize anybody at the front anymore, not to mention my favorite therapist has jumped ship, understandably. Not a good sign! I had a one hour specialty massage. When I got to the room it was freezing. I mentioned it to the therapist and he said "sorry, I can't do anything about it." The massage was good except the guy kept going too hard. I was wincing and pulling away. I told him once to go lighter, but I enjoy more when a therapist can read your body language. Also the guy had a long beard and when he was massaging my chest his beard touched my face. If you like a deep massage it would be good for you. If I come back I'll ask for someone else. read more

Went in with a groupon and was told that with $5 extra they would do a couples massage. Took advantage of the deal since the and so glad that I did. The rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly. The techniques my massage therapist used was perfect for me. An hour went by faster than I would have liked but definitely enjoyed the whole experience. Towards the end they offered the hydro luxe massage which is just a pound machine with water jets below for a full body massage - I would consider skipping that the next time only because why would you want a loud machine to "massage" you right after the awesome massage beforehand. I would go back to Massage Luxe again but will stay away from the machine. read more
