I came to LV for my 45th birthday a few years ago. I had decided to get another tat cuz I like to have different artists do their work when i get a new one. I went to Hart & Huntington at The Palms as I heard that was a good spot. Well- it sucked. Their attitude and limited skills made me walk out of there in a hurry. I asked the door man of all people who he recommended as he had some work on his arms and he didn't hesitate to say Massive. I jumped in a cab and had them take me there. There was no waiting as I was the only client at that moment- YEAH. I talked with one of the artists (Josh?) and told him I wanted a chrysanthemum on my calf as it is my birth month flower. He came back with several options and I decided on one - he did a GREAT job- I get compliments on it all the time- and he was efficient, friendly and professional. The price was right- no complaints. My first tattoo!! My friend and I planned a trip to Vegas and decided we would get a tattoo while there(what happens in Vegas...) Being my first experience I researched the tattoo studios thoroughly! I came to him with an unfinished tattoo coverup that is very sentimental to me to see if I could trust him with completing the piece. Simply based on the choice of words he used when describing how he could help me with my tattoo, I could tell that he respected it and that I could trust him with my vision. Planned an entire Vegas trip with my grandparents around getting my first tattoo. I ended up speaking with a couple of tattoo shops over the phone, and because of their professionalism and courtesy, immediately chose Massive as our place to go. My grandparents, my girlfriend, and I walked in on a Friday afternoon, and were immediately greeted by friendly artists who were knowledgeable and ready to help. At first glance the shop was so clean. And I mean, CLEAN (I'll get to that more in a little bit.) We chatted with the staff for a bit, my girlfriend and grandpa actually got their tattoos that day, and I scheduled an appointment for mine; since it was much bigger, at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday. Both of their tattoos took about 45 minutes each, Tyson did my grandpa's, while David did my girlfriend's. Both artists were extremely helpful when presented with individual tattoo ideas, offered some help on the final product, drew them up, and both tattoos were perfect. We said our good byes and came back two days later for my appointment. My appointment was with Tyson, the same artist who did my grandpa's tattoo. The appointment started right on time, and it started with Tyson cleaning his workstation perfectly. The entire experience took about 4.5 hours, and it was delightful. Tyson and the rest of the crew (up front we were joined by Will and Chelsea) were just the right amount of talkative; they were professional, and totally cool. During my tattoo Tyson went through - and I am not exaggerating - about 30 PAIRS of gloves. He changed his gloves anytime he did anything other than tattoo my arm. I couldn't believe how clean these artists were; though this was my first tattoo, I have been in a couple of tattoo shops before, and this was by far the cleanest tattoo shop I have been in. Since my tattoo took so long, my grandpa actually got ANOTHER tattoo while Tyson was working on me. Will did his tattoo this time, he also tattooed my grandma, and my great uncle while I was being worked on. Will was no exception to the cleanliness seen in the shop. Every time he switched customers he cleaned his ENTIRE workstation and opened up brand new sterile equipment. Cleanliness was just habitual here at Massive. Once Tyson was done, I took a look, and the finished product was absolutely amazing. I could not have been more satisfied; it came out so much better than I had hoped. Tyson absolutely knocked it out of the park. During the entire 4.5 hour session I was never uncomfortable, and I never worried about the end product; I just knew it was going to be perfect. I got a rather detailed tattoo, and his line-work is amazing. You only get your first tattoo once, and I am so glad I got it here. I will definitely be back. TL;DR -Cleanest tattoo shop I've ever seen -Artist are clean, knowledgeable, approachable, friendly, and extremely talented -Great place for a 1st tattoo -Great place for your 100th tattoo -Prices are reasonable -I will definitely be returning read more

Great location not too far from the strip and the store is top notch - clean and all equipment is sterile. James C. did my tattoo - got one on both arms and he was awesome. It's been 2 weeks and the tattoo healed nicely and looks great. Its a print tattoo in black. James was very knowledgeable and friendly and made the experience of getting my first tattoos easy as pie.
