Had someone come out to do my carpets, 2 rooms, the tech was here for less than 20 minutes and the state of my carpets is horrible. The price I was quoted was not the price the Tech said it would cost, also wouldn't let me pay by credit card, insisted I pay with cash, now I know why so I can't stop payment on the poor services. The amount of water that was left on my carpets. i'm including a picture of my son's pants 7 hours after the cleaning was completed. The carpet was still soaked. Found this company on a Val-Pak advertisement. We just got a new heating and air system installed on Monday but, didn't include new duct work. Wanting to get this cleaned for our health so, saw an ad for $64.99 unlimited vent cleaning. Called and they came out 6/13/2020. When he (no mask on) arrived he asked when the last time vents cleaned. I advised never. Says price will change. Quoted me $425.00 he saw my expression and said I'll lower to $375.00. Talked with my husband because this included a 7 year warranty. Well we agreed. He asked if we had a ladder he could use (huh?) uh no. He brought one in and asked we stay in bedroom. We had to close our doors to keep the cats from running out. When he brought in the vacuum hose and the brush which was already filthy he spent 15-20 minutes. And only a spray bottle with the disinfecting chemicals. No way can you clean those vents in that short of time. He asked my husband for cash or a check. It shows they accept credit card but, he pushed back because they didn't want to pay the processing fees. Needless to say we will be contacting our credit card provider. I had this company come for a duct cleaning due to a dead mouse leaving a foul order coming from my vents, leaving us with no AC. The first time they came, it did not work at all. So we had them come back a second time. This time, four days later, you could hear all the junk being sucked out. I just want to say, that all should have been sucked out the first time. Even with all that, the smell is still there. The tech came out again and said what's the problem? Clearly there's something in there still, the smell is overwhelming and my children have to share a room because the smell. He asked to see. I show him the vent and he touches it and states it's not on. Well obviously it's not on, I don't have AC because of this dead mouse in the duct. He goes on about how without air flow, there would be no smell. He walks downstairs and calls his manager. Walks around talking in a different language. I eventually walk into my kitchen and he's standing next to my table typing in his phone and says his manager wanted me to see this. The message said the air is off so there is no smell coming from the vent. It ended with "this is not his fault, not our problem." Not to mention the times they give you are not correct. He tried coming early the first two times. The third time, he tried coming early as well but I told him no one would be home until the designated time because we are working and already have to get off to be there for those two hours. I was told I had to call the office and reschedule. No, we called and the appointment was back on. He showed up 7 minutes late. The last time he came, he was 40 minutes late. This was a complete waist of money and of time. I called for the $75 cleaning that they advertised and when he got here I was told that it was just a quick cleaning and my house is well overdue for a deep cleaning because I have mold in my vents. So I went with the $300 sanitizer option. Now, I have had this service done before in San Diego for my vent system there and they used this awesome brush on a hose that whipped around and actually cleaned the vent. They also told me that if I ever had my drier vent cleaned and it vented to the roof, then whoever is cleaning it needed to go to the roof otherwise it wasn't done right. They also showed me about the spray that needed to go into the main system to ensure it was sanitized. They ensured that I could smell the difference. Anyway, none of that happened this time. This guy took off the vents covers, cleaned them, shoved a hose with no whipping brush up in my vent for maybe 2 feet and then closed it up and moved to the next one. He ensured me that it was getting al of the buildup that he swore was in my system. He broke out a brush for the main vent only after I said something to my husband about this being bullsh*t. When he did the drier vent, it was from the main part of the house, not the roof. When I asked him about it he just said "It depends". I am guessing that is how much it depends on their laziness. Then when I asked about the sanitation of the system that he said I needed, he told me the cleaning of the vents was the sanitation and then showed me a spray bottle that he claimed to use, but never left his bag that was sitting next to my front door. What I witnessed today made me sick! I was assisting an older home owner with a move out. A guy from Master Clean showed up to the house and cleaned the carpets in less than 20 minutes. The cleaner was extremely rude to the home owner and charged her $100 more than the price she was quoted and given even though she was using an add from an advertisement. When the owner nicely asked why the price difference he gave some explanation about that treatment wouldnt work on her type of carpets. That the advertised clean was just water. He says you pay for the solution separately (coupon says everything is included) WTH then I pull up their website and it says 3 rooms for $49.99 and show him and he says that's the internet price.
