Great service. Took care of the problem quickly and didn't try to up sell me on something I didn't need.

I really don't give bad reviews but this poor communication and poor job really harmed our timeline…read moreon our home sale. Absolutely avoid if you want an honest assessment or technician willing to work. I confirmed in advance that we wanted our sewer line cleaned to comply with our inspection during our home sale. The technician came out and said he was going to scope it first, not the service we asked for, and then told my husband repeatedly it didn't need to be cleaned. I later got an email with a recommendation for a cleaning at $1400 and a bill for $154 for scoping the line. I already have an appointment to have the line scoped after the cleaning tomorrow by the original company who scoped it. Never asked for a scope, asked for a cleaning. I've attached the communication that they could do the cleaning while in site. Really challenging when the technician said no cleaning necessary, no repairs necessary and then sends an estimate for recommended cleaning and repair. Moving on to the next company who can maybe do the work we hire for and not waste hours of our time and now days.

Hyper Flow Service has been my trusted plumbers since 2021, for the past 4.5+ years. The owner,…read moreKyle, has also referred me to my equally trustworthy HVAC/Electrician, ArkEHC, and I couldn't be happier! I've worked with David, Jacob, Brian, and James, and can't speak more highly of all of them! They've all helped me in various ways, the past few years, during both emergencies and routine maintenance. It all started in Labor Day 2021, when I had just flown here from Arlington, VA (Washington, DC), to "hug my dad for surviving COVID," as he returned home from the hospital after starting at the VA, then being at a private hospital for 5-weeks, and he was scheduled to be discharged Labor Day weekend, just as his basement sewage plumbing backed up! I was so overwhelmed. I called 1.800 Water Mitigation, to remove all the HAZMAT, then get going on the dehumidifiers, fans, and worked with USAA to re-build the entire basement thereafter, and for the stopped-up toilet, I called Hyper Flow. James helped me snake the basement toilet, and begin to explain all of home plumbing to me. That was 4-years ago. Then I began hiring Hyper Flow to slowly rebuild two upstairs toilets that my dad had perhaps not maintained as well as ideal (he was on fixed income, after all, so no judgment), as well as the two upstairs bathroom sinks, then ultimately I hired them to replace the Kitchen Sink Faucet (James did this work, as Brian was the manager, who helped me assess the problem and do the estimate). James also helped me get my Water Heater (that a different company installed, that was no up-to-code) up to code, per the retroactive Home Inspection, and James helped me install a mainline water shutoff. My house is finally in ship-shape - on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC - all thanks to Kyle, the owner of Hyper Flow. Highly recommend! FYI, they've also jetted my lateral sewage line pipes - twice - and I will be hiring them for the excavation of the line that connects to my HOA main sewage line, before it connects to the City of Denver, once that time comes. Great work, great value, and - most of all - I trust them & their work.

Avoid this company at all costs and find a trusted local plumber instead…read more I have roots in my drain, so every year I have to get them cleaned out. I've used Elite once before, and I decided to use them again. But this last time when they showed up, I scheduled what should have been a simple $79 annual pipe cleaning. Instead, it immediately turned into a hard-sell pitch for an $8,500 trench-digging and pipe replacement -- a major job that might be needed someday, but certainly not urgently like they claimed. (Mind you, they didn't even guarantee that this would fix all my problems. They said there might need to be more jobs that get done after this $8,500 job. ) They used sales tactics to try to scar me and make me think that I would only be getting this price for one day. I declined MULTIPLE TIMES because I wanted a second opinion, and I'm very glad I did. ALSO - Despite paying the $79, they didn't even clear the roots from the drain -- they just told me it was "too overrun" and then pushed the upsell anyway. After that, I received phone calls from them twice a day for a week trying to get me to schedule the expensive work. And Elite kept calling me. Trying to see what they could do to "earn my business". Eventually I got into a long discussion with one of their salesmen, and long story short, they talked me into considering them for a hydrojetting job. - Which would clear my roots, and they could then decide how bad my pipes were and what kind of further service I would need. Which they quoted me $1,600 for. Eventually, I had another trusted local plumber take a look. And they confirmed I had roots and a few other minor problems. But the roots were definitely the biggest problem that are causing my backups. and he also suggested hydro jetting done by his friend. So I scheduled him and he charged me a fraction of Elite Rooters 1,600 dollar price tag. I was blown away by how simple the hydrojetting process was, because by that price point, Elite told me I thought it was such a complex process. Bottom line: This company uses high-pressure tactics, inflated pricing, and artificially urgent sales pitches. Don't be fooled by the $79 "special." Hire a reputable local plumber -- you'll save money and avoid the corporate upsell games.

Plumber to Avoid: Elite Rooter Plumbers…read more Do not every hire this company!!! Ever! Seriously hire any other company. Please read below before you think about calling them for assistance I had a sink clog so it wasn't draining at all. The guy came within 1-2 hours of calling. First thing he did was try to sell me a $1200 pipe cleaning. I said, I don't need pipe cleaning, I just need the clog resolved. I then agreed to pay ~$250 to clear the clog. He worked for 15-20 minutes and said he was unable to remove clog with snake and he needed to use the water spray to resolve the clog. This was the $1200 service. I had already been dealing with the clog all day and just wanted it done so I agreed. He worked for maybe another 45 minutes and declared the clog was resolved. Then he demanded a 5-star google rating. I said well I guess you fixed it so sure. He did not put the drain back together and left. I was happy to have the sink to use for preparing dinner. I put the drain back together. It was just as clogged as when the guy got there. I called him. He returned and said he didn't know how to resolve clog but his boss would contact me on Monday. This was a Saturday afternonn/evening. I was not happy about not having a kitchen sink for rest of weekend but we dealt with it. I waited until 1pm on Monday to be contacted by his boss. I was not given his number. When I had not been contacted, I called and requested a refund. Obviously, I'm not paying for not having a sink for another 2 days, let alone $1200. I found that price absurd and you should too!! For all I know the guy did nothing since the drain was still clogged. I hired another company (Mile High Drain) who sent out two guys and resolved the issue within 45 minute. The put the drain back together and we have had no problem since. I paid them $175 plus a $30 tip for each guy. I assumed that the Elite Rooters had refunded me. 6 weeks later I was going through credit card charges and realized that that charge had not been reversed. I assumed it had been a mistake and called to remind them to refund me. I waited another week, still no refund. I have called at least 6 times, trying to be nice, to request the refund. They currently claim that their customer service cannot refund the charge and that a "manager" has the power to do it. They state they have told the manager to contact me and so far he has not. On my account they say the refund was denied because "the work was completed". I have told them I just want a refund. I don't want to hurt their business but I cannot in good conscience not make this public, whether I ever get refund or not. This is the worst customer service experience I can recall. Please, please please there are many great plumbing business in the greater Denver area who you can hire who will treat you great. This business is not one of them.

The techs are always willing, know their stuff and thorough. Doesn't hurt at all that the pricing always seems fair too. For plumbing and drain issues Gavin's is always first call and there has never been a hiccup.

When you call Garvin's you get a cheerful bot who answers the phone with the catchphrase of "We…read moreclean out sewers, not bank accounts!" Well. My experience is ironic, then, yes? I was recommended to contact Garvin's by Groundworks, a company that strives very hard to do an excellent job for their customers. See, Groundworks had done some major uplifting of a broken basement wall, due to freezing, and they installed multiple steel I-beams to shore up the wall, then inserted epoxy into the cracks to finish the job. "Lou," a tech told me. "Upon finishing the work, we did a survey of the rest of the house and found that there's some concerning settling at the front part of the home. The north end. You need to get a water intrusion company to check that out. We don't do that." "Great," I sighed. "Who do you recommend?" "Garvin's." So, I called Garvin's, got the aforementioned bot with the promise not to clean out my bank account, and told the kind lady that I needed an expert in water intrusion. "Do you do that?" "We do!" she said. "I can have a tech out tomorrow!" "Um," I replied. "This is a long-standing issue. There aren't any pipes spurting water. It's not THAT urgent." "No worries, would you like a tech tomorrow anyway?" "That would be great!" The tech arrived the next day and called me. "Mr. Berger, I looked in the crawl space and there is water there, but no plumbing. So I don't know what you want me to do." "Oh," I said, taken aback. "I want you to find out where that water is coming from! That's why I hired you!" "No," he insisted. "We are plumbers. We only work on pipes." "Well, can you check with your supervisors? I was told, when I asked, that Garvin's does water intrusion detection." "Sure. In the meantime, I did notice soft drywall on the ceiling basement, which is wet." That was a slow leak when the not-often-used powder room on the first floor gets flushed. The leak was new to me, so when he asked me if he could cut into the drywall to determine the source, I agreed. He called back while I was on a conference call, didn't leave any voicemails, and when I got a phone call from their office manager, I had just hung up with the conference call. Long story short, the toilet needs a new wax ring and the shutoff valve for the toilet is old and no longer functional. The quote was $850, but I could have a $100 coupon discount if I agreed. "Send me the quote," I said. "That sounds a bit high to replace a wax ring, an intake valve, and the innards of the toilet tank. I could buy a new toilet entirely and replace it for that much." They sent me a quote and then, here's the point of the review, billed me $661, which they immediately processed against my credit card. What did they do? They poked a hole in sodden drywall, determined that a wax ring was needed, and repaired nothing. This review is 2 stars because they have the legal right to bill me for the two hours that it took while the tech awaited the ability to talk to me. The review is 2 stars because charging me $661 feels punitive in that I didn't meet the tech's expectation of availability and the company's willingness to, yes, clean out my bank account. I don't want a refund. I want everybody to know how Garvin's treats people. Like free bank accounts, withdrawal only.
